My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy
Chapter 176
Behind the love birds who had a small misunderstanding, Roy and Markus looked away the moment Halora threw herself to the campus bad boy.
They knew the game was over between the three of them and the winner already took his priceless reward.
Secretly, as the two jealous men turned their back, Zenith felt a sudden pang on her chest. She wanted to confess about what she felt for Roy but, she didn''t want to be a pitiful, hopeless romantic girl.
She sighed, crossed her arms and rolled hear eyes. "You know what, if you want to win against my cousin, why don''t you work hard and may the best man win!"
But the two boys answered was unexpectedly annoying and shocking. "Shut up! You don''t know how it feels like!"
For a moment, Zenith laughed sarcastically and looked at Roy''s epic reaction. She wanted to punch him in the face but she flipped her hair and stepped into his right foot.
"I hate you, assh*le!" Before she walked few steps away from broken hearted men, she murmured that provoked Roy to go beyond the limits.
He was about to do something to her, but Markus said something that turned him speechless. "She likes you. And if you don''t want the love she''s willing to offer you, talk to her and say what you truly feel." He gasped, looked at his eyes sincerely, "Take that as a friendly advice. You have still a lot of time to decide, Roy."
It made Roy speechless. He noticed some of special treatment of Zenith but he never had any thought of taking her kindness for granted.
But after all, Markus was right. If he does not like her at all, he shouldn''t give her false hopes that would only lead her to an unbearable pain.
"That jerk sounds like an elder who survived a greatest love." he whispered, turned his head and saw Markus walked into Halora and Sebastian. "Damn it! Why am I even listening to him?" he stomped his feet, gawked at Zenith until he ended up standing right before her.
On the other side, Halora slowly let go of him. She quickly wiped off the tears that fell right into her today cheeks. And the heavy weight she kept on her chest suddenly vanished like an ash and drifted by the wind.
"I''m sorry, Sebastian! I... I didn''t mean to be an exaggerated girl–"
"Excuse me, but can I talk to her just a moment?" Markus suddenly spoke, facing Sebastian who quickly shook his head in agreement. "It''s gonna be real quick, dude!" he added, grabbed Halora''s hand and brought her to where he parked the car.
From a distance, Sebastian took a deep breath, slid his hands on his pocket. He didn''t want people to know their relationship as he was still waiting for the perfect timing.
Once he confirmed that Halora possessed the alpha''s mark on her back, he would asked her to marry him as much as possible, as grandiose as she wished to.
"I need to see the mark before someone steal her from me!" Sebastian whispered to the warm breeze and followed his girlfriend who were accompanied by her suitor.
They spoke about something but before he could take steps, he heard a deep, hollow voice from behind.
"Excuse me, have you seen Halora, the girl earlier?" A tall, light skinned officer looked for his girlfriend. He looked at his wristwatch, took a sighed for a second, "She have to come with us and if you want to accompany her, you can follow us then."
Despite being doubtful, Sebastian bowed his head. He knew what to do and before anything happened, they went to the spot where they saw Halora and Markus.
And as soon as she saw them, Halora bid goodbye to Markus who has still something to tell. But because he ran out of time, he shrugged off his shoulders and gave her an assuring kind of smile.
"I''m sorry, Markus but I have to go right now! I''ll call you once I got a chance, alright?"
"Of c– course, don''t worry that much, Halora! I understand." he answered Halora but little did he knew, it was not over yet.
As she was taken by the cops and brought her to the police car, Sebastian walked straight to the black sportscar and opened the door like it was his own.
He said, "Give me the key! We need to do something before going home."
"What? What are you talking about?" Markus scowled. He stared at Sebastian but nothing changed even his epic, cold expression. "Fine! Fine! I don''t fucking understand why am I even obeying your words!"
As quick as it was, he ran into the window that faced the driver''s seat, he lent the key to Sebastian, walked around and quickly hopped into the seat on the front.
He wanted to ask more questions, but when he saw the light that came from the sirens, he realized it too. Until their short conversation flashed back out of the blue.
"You know what, I feel uncomfortable with the cops'' strange treatment. Everytime they speak to me, the way they look at me always gave my body a quick shiver and goosebumps. I... I don''t have any idea, but I am afraid to go there by myself."
Halora''s worried voice and words gave him a little hint. Probably, it was the reason why she looked bothered and absent minded at the moment he spoke to her.
All out of a sudden, as Sebastian drove the car slowly behind the police vehicles, Markus clapped his hands that caught the man''s attention on the driver''s seat.
He smirked and he said, "I knew it! I knew it from the very beginning!"
"Don''t waste your energy and saliva over nonsense things, Markus. We are following that noisy car ahead of us and making it sure that Halora will be safe and sound until the investigation is done."
In the middle of any situation, Sebastian would always handled it with a cold, yet tantalizing manner that suited to his personality that emphasized his alluring charm.
