We still had another twelve hours of out journey, but since it was night out, I figured it was best to get rest when I needed it. Strictly speaking, I didn’t need rest as much as I once used to. If I needed to go a few days without sleep, that could be done. That didn’t mean I shouldn’t take the opportunity to rest when I could.

In general, the airship wasn’t the roomiest of places. Even ships on the water didn’t have a lot of space. The transport ship I had taken with Eliana had barely managed to give each of us quarters, and the paladins had to sleep out on the deck. This airship was about the same size, but not only did we have to hold Anne, Mary, and their honor guards, but also me, the lionesses, and all of the girls of my harem including maids. Even Sapphire came along with two other deep dwarf blacksmiths. Suffice it to say that the ship was extremely crowded.

I had only been allocated three rather small rooms. Anne and Mary were each given a room, as was the Esmere, so getting three just for myself and my entourage could already be considered generous. First and the lionesses refused to sleep in the rooms, opting instead to find places in the hallway or on the deck. One room went to the maids and functioned as their maid quarters, one went to my girls, and the final one went to me. The past me might have refused to accept a room just for myself, but I had slowly been learning that as a lord, some things were expected of me. I had to show that I was the lord and leader, so I got a room to myself while my girls had to take turns sharing between the near dozen of them.

Thankfully, the airship moved faster than a boat, and even though we were traveling about the same distance, it only would take around two days instead of a week. I had considered just tossing the girls into my soul world. It had seemed to grow a bit and now covered more space. It had also started to regrow the trees and plants that had been destroyed during the previous times I had to ravage or recreate my soul world.

The reason I didn’t give the girls my soul world was because while it might give them some space, it would prevent me from getting any peace. It wasn’t just me either. The soul world functioned as Alysia’s home these days, and she preferred a quiet lifestyle. If I suddenly dumped all of the girls in there to fight and play, it would disrupt her peace as much as my own.

Furthermore, I’d normally invite the girls into my room, but Terra couldn’t fit downstairs and was forced to remain on the deck with the lionesses. If I had any of the girls in my room, it’d end up causing even more commotion. In the end, I found a comfortable spot in my bed and waited. However, before I fell asleep, there was a light knock on my door.

“Come in,” I said.

A moment later, a person appeared in my room, even though the door hadn’t opened or closed. That as none other than Celeste, who had shrunk down to pass through a crack in the door and then grew back to her full size. I immediately noticed she had a worried look on her face, and so I sat up.

“What is it?” I asked.

“As Master ordered, I kept a watch on our new guest,” Celeste spoke uncertainly. “You might want to hear this.”
