“You guys too, you all knew, rissa was the one who did it, I was kick clearly the victim, Wace and you both wanted me to shut up. Ivan out of the city, and even now. I still hadn’t heard a single apology from rissa, not even one.”

“And you too. Kieran,” ricka’s look was full of sarcasm, “you knew rissa got someone to assault me, it was Ivan who saved me and took me to the hotel.”

“You obviously knew everything, but you still thought I was sleeping with Ivan, that I had something improper going on.”

Her eyes turned red.

rieka wasn’t a very strong person, she got sad too, she cried and made a fuss, and she wanted love and care.

She wasn’t exactly okay with what Kieran and the others did.

She was already a thin and weak woman, her face so small that one hand could cover it. Her eyes were red, filled with tears that stubbornly refused to fall. She bit her lip, looking like a frapped animal struggling, so pitiful.

rieka didn’t want to look so pathetic in front of Kieran, either.

She knew Kieran wouldn’t care.

But she really couldn’t help it.

“Kieran, I also wanted to ask you, what exactly did I do wrong? Why did you guys treat me like that?”

Kieran’s dark eyes looked at her up close, his thin lips pressed btight/b.

“No matter what, you shouldn’t have touched Rose.”

ricka felt like she had no strength left in her whole body.

She knew Kieran only had Roschelle in his heart, and she also knew Kieran hated her.

But she still hoped Kieran could treat things fairly and justly, again and again she had expectations for Kieran, again and again she hoped Kieran could see her grievances, could understand her tears.

But what I got in return was just even deeper disappointment.

ricka gave a weak smile, and tears finally fell from her eyes, ran down her cheeks, and dropped to the ground.

“Kieran, I think it really was my faulti, /iiI /ishouldn’t have had any expectations of you.”

Kieran’s brows furrowed a little.

rieka pushed Kieran away, her face calm again.

“Kieran, if you wanted me to apologize, then I apologized.”

She slowly bent down, her voice calm and firm:

“Kieran, I apologized to you again, sorry, really sorry.”

She straightened up, looked Kieran right in the eye, and pped herself hard.

There was no one in the corner of the hospital, it was really quiet, so her crisp p sounded really loud.

Kieran didn’t change his expression, his dark eyes fixed on her face.

ricka chuckled, “You feel sorry for Roschelle, so this p, I’m giving it back to her.”

“I just asked you, from now on, we go our separate ways, you mind your business, I mind mine, we don’t mess with each other.”

Kieran still didn’t say anything.

ricka thought Kieran still wasn’t satisfied with her self–punishment.

So she raised her hand and asked him, “Kieran, do I need to p myself again?”

As she spoke, she pped her own face hard again.

It’s just that this time, the p didn’tnd on her face.

Because halfway there, Kieran suddenly grabbed her wrist.

He warned in a low voice, “rieka.”

ricka looked at him indifferently: “So, are you satisfied? Can you let me go now?”

Kieran just frowned.

ricka said yes, then shook off Kieran’s hand hard and turned away.

On the way back to the Argent’s vi, rieka felt more and more like moving out.

She just called the agent and booked that rental ce she hadn’t had a chance to check out.

Back at the Argent’s vi, rieka just ran into a servant who was about toe out of the Argent’s vi.

The familiar crystal locket in the servant’s hand caught her attention.

She stopped the servant and pointed at the crystal locket in her hand: “Where did thise from?”

The servant took it out and said, “You mean this? I saw it room and still didn’t know what to do with it.”

rieka said, “You give me.”

The servant handed her the crystal locket: “Do you know whose crystal locket this is?”

rieka looked at the crystal locket deeply: “This was mine.”

The crystal locket broke into pieces at school back then, and she thought it was just lost.

Didn’t expect that the crystal locket got fixed by someone and then was returned.

The crystal locket was badly broken, but the repair marks were really faint, almost invisible.

rieka gripped the crystal locket in her hand. The grievances she’d felt these past days were eased a bit by this repaired crystal locket.
