The two boss vampires targeted Anton with their curses and spells. He evaded most of them by simply teleporting away, and his defenses mitigated the attacks that he couldn’t avoid. The spells that went through his defenses and damaged him weren’t that serious and were healed immediately, either by the high regeneration rate that his gear provided or by his Prayer Aura. To be honest, the runeword armor Chains of Honor was so powerful that he could basically tank the damage of the boss vampires.

Anton wondered if it was still going to be the same on the lower floors. More than likely, it would not be, so he thought that it was still a good idea to instill the habit of evading monster attacks and spells instead of taking them head-on like a muscle-bound tank.

Still, with the two boss vampires concentrating on Anton, it gave his Valkyrie and Shadow Master the freedom to freely attack the monsters. His most powerful summons' damage was considerable, and coupled with his attack spells, the male and female boss vampire met their demise.

Anton cast his curses at the remaining vampires and then cast single-target spells on them like his Lightning and Ice Blast spells one by one. His hydra spell was also doing considerable damage to the vampires, and when his Valkyrie and Shadow Master joined in, soon, all of the vampires were destroyed.

He immediately tagged all the vampires’ corpses with his dungeon key so he could harvest the things that he needed to submit to complete quests. Thankfully, his Valkyrie and his Shadow Master were quite capable enough to do the dirty job, so he commanded them to do it. Anton was thankful again that his summons were not sentient because if they were, he would have to do a lot to alleviate the guilt that he was feeling for asking them to do some of the job that he was a little unwilling to do. Thankfully, his Valkyrie and his Shadow Master looked like him and not the sexy Amazon or the beautiful Assassin; otherwise, he would have had perverted thoughts towards them.

Anton’s body in this world was already eighteen years old, which was not too far apart from the age he had when he died back on Earth, which was twenty-three. A lot of people would consider his age an age wherein hormones would run rampant, and he was no different. He had been watching Japanese action films quite a lot lately, and his girlfriend, which was his left hand, was doing everything it could to relieve him of his sexual tension. He knew that it was time for him to explore the red light district, but he still felt a little embarrassed about that. He did die a virgin back on Earth.

He thought of getting himself a girlfriend, but couldn’t help but think that it would only lead to heartbreak since his experiences in the past showed him that life was fragile.  That meant that the best thing he could do was to do the deed with professionals.

He suddenly wondered why his thoughts went to perverted things. Anton stored the mana stones that appeared after all the vampires’ corpses disappeared, as well as the items from the chest that was located beside the boss vampires’ bed.

Anton dismissed all of his summons except for his five Spirit Wolves and five Ravens and returned to the previous room to enter the other door. As usual, the door led to another hallway filled with traps, and then it led to another room with two doors. He randomly selected one of the doors, and the chamber that it led to was a huge one with a throne. On the throne was sitting a skeleton, and based on the robes that the skeleton was wearing, the monster was a lich. This was the second lich that Anton had encountered on this floor.

The first lich was a woman, and he knew her gender because it wasn’t a full skeleton but a corpse. This one, Anton wasn’t sure because it was a full skeleton, and the mage robe that it was wearing could be worn by both males and females.

Anton immediately summoned all of his summons because typical lichs were expert summoners. When he moved forward to meet with the lich and start the fight, the lich stood up from his throne and started flying.

Instead of summoning an army of the undead as Anton was expecting, the lich started summoning a black globe on top of its hands. The globe looked terrifying. It looked like a representation of black holes in space that one could see on the internet. The lich then hurled its black hole globe towards Anton and his summons. He immediately teleported away, and his summon received the lich’s attack.

Anton was flabbergasted to see that the majority of his summons disappeared. The only ones remaining were the Clay Golem, the Valkyrie, and the Shadow Master, and they were severely damaged. His summons were very tanky. That meant that the damage to the globe was tremendous.

The lich then summoned three giant spears of ice and hurled them at his three remaining minions. Anton dispelled all of his summons, and he saw the Ice Spears from the lich slam into the ground where his summons were standing. Half of the spears were buried in the ground, which was a testament to how powerful the ice spears were.

Anton then saw the lich casting another spell. He realized that the lich was not a summoner but was more like a pure spellcaster. He immediately summoned his Valkyrie and commanded it to focus on long-range attack. His Valkyrie was capable of evading the lich’s spell. His Shadow Master could evade them as well, but it was a melee attacker, and right now, Anton needed to focus on hitting the lich from far away.

The lich’s spell was another globe, but this time, it was yellow. The lich then cast the yellow globe above, not toward them, and some sort of wave appeared coming from the place where the yellow globe blew up.  The wave was a little slow, so Anton and his Valkyrie had plenty of time to avoid it by teleporting backwards while his Valkyrie ran to the back. The impressive thing about Anton’s Valkyrie was that it started using a bow and arrow to attack the lich, and even though it was running quickly backwards to avoid the incoming wave, its bow and arrow attacks were relentless.

Anton joined his Valkyrie in attacking the lich by casting Frozen Orb at it. When the Orb hit the incoming yellow wave, he finally knew what the wave would do. It was some sort of slow or time stop spell because his Frozen Orb started slowing down.

He realized that his battle was going to be a battle between spellcasters. Anton started casting several hydras near the lich, and even though the Hydra’s Firebolts were slowed down, he knew that spells like Time Stop or Slow Time had a limited duration, and once it was over, all the spells would reach the lich.

As expected, before the wave reached Anton and his Valkyrie, the yellow wave disappeared. Anton cast the Blizzard Spell on top of the lich to slow it down and cast Chain Lightning and Lightning to stagger it, and it worked. The spell that the lich was preparing was cancelled because of his lightning spells interrupting it.

The lich wasn’t damaged, though. The Frozen Orb, the Hydra’s Fire Bolt, his Chain Lightning, and Lightning spell were stopped by some sort of shield spell. His Valkyrie's arrows were also stopped by the lich’s shield spell.

It didn’t matter to Anton. He just kept on spamming spells towards the lich since he knew that shield spells had some sort of maximum damage capacity it could take, and once it was reached, it would burst.
