CHAPTER 87: [CHAPTER - 78] - LILITH
Chapter - 78
The sun had finally dipped below the horizon, and the glass doors of the luxury car showroom slid open as Lucius stepped out, twirling the keys to his brand-new car.
And right in front of him, his brand new sleek black Vireon X10 waited for him to take it out on a spin. Lucius smiled with pride as he walked towards it.
Behind him, the sound of soft footsteps followed.
"Wait for me!" came the coquettish voice of the silver-haired girl, "Oh my dear, Lucius~," the girl sang his name in a sweet, flirty tone.
Lucius turned slightly and saw the sexy girl coming out of the building. With her hands behind her back, her hips swayed as she walked with playful energy.
The black satin robe the silver-haired girl wore, hugged her body tightly, and her generous breasts bounced gently with each step. It looked like her robes could barely hold them in place, restraining them from popping out.
This brought her unwanted attention, but she didn’t seem to mind the attention they drew.
She was trouble, and Lucius knew it.
Lucius raised an eyebrow, just looking at those jiggling breasts almost made his nose bleed. But Lucius steeled his heart and ignoring her, continued walking towards the car.
But getting ignored did not deter the girl. She quickly hopped behind him before Lucius could enter his car and stopped just behind him.
Her face was inches away from his back, and her slender fingers reached out and lightly traced the line of his spine through his shirt, down to his waist.
A small tingle went down Lucius’s back, and his back went stiff.
"You feel a bit tense, handsome," the girl asked Lucius, her voice dripping with honey.
Lucius let out a small chuckle, keeping his tone calm.
"Can you blame me? I am not used to being stalked by mystery women with expensive taste."
The girl laughed lightly, stepping in front of him now.
"Mmm," she purred, "A good car and a better man. How can I keep my hands off?"
Lucius chuckled softly, "You like to flirt, don’t you?"
"I am not flirting," she replied with a grin, "I am tasting you, before I choose to devour you."
Lucius raised an eyebrow, amused by the girl, "Is that supposed to scare me?"
"No," the girl shook her head and leaned against his car, crossing her legs, "It’s supposed to excite you."
And then there was silence as Lucius looked at her, this time right into her icy blue eyes. They were captivating, more tempting her big breasts right now. Luicus felt drawn towards them.
[Master!]
Luicus’s trance was broken by the System in time. The girl who was smiling seeing Lucius get captivated by her, suddenly had her smile fade away, as she saw his foggy eyes get clearer once again. But she quickly masked her emotions.
"So," she asked casually changing the subject, "About our little dinner date? You haven’t changed your mind have you?"
"Sure why not? I wouldn’t miss dinner with you for anything," Lucius nodded, "But... shouldn’t we at least exchange names? Kind of weird to have dinner with a total strang..."
But he was interrupted as the girl put a finger on his lips and grinned mischievously.
"Hmm... but wouldn’t that be boring?" She said, "Instead, let’s do something fun."
"Fun?" Lucius looked curious.
"Exactly," she said with a wink, "Isn’t that more fun? It will be like a game. Two strangers. A night of mystery. No names. No past. No Future. Just that moment with the two of us."
Lucius smirked, "Just the two of us?" Lucius leaned towards the girl, "What do you have in mind, Miss?"
"That’s a surprise for you," she whispered with a mischievous grin, "But if you behave tonight... maybe I will let you in on more than a surprise."
Lucius couldn’t help but grin back, "You’re not like the women I usually meet."
"And you are not like the men I usually hunt..." she paused and corrected herself quickly, "... I mean, meet."
Lucius chuckled at the slip, "Nice save."
The girl laughed it off, then rose on her toes and kissed him softly on the cheek. Her lips felt soft, warm and left a tingling sensation behind.
"That’s for pulling your cheeks earlier," she said with a wink, "You looked so adorable."
"Pick me up at 9. I will meet you at City square."
Then she turned and walked away to a big black SUV parked nearby, waiting with its headlights on. Just as she reached it, the door swung open.
A huge man in a tight black suit stepped out. He looked like a walking tank. Broad chest, shoulders like concrete, and standing at least seven feet tall.
He bowed slightly to the girl and opened the door for her. As she stepped in, the man looked up, and stared straight at Lucius. Unlike the girl who looked at him with playful mischievousness, the big man stared hard at Lucius. His cold eyes didn’t blink, and there wasn’t even a courtesy smile on his face.
But Lucius wasn’t one to back down so easily, he met the man’s gaze without flinching. And we had two men in a staring competition.
Finally after a few long seconds, a voice came from inside the car and the man looked away. He sat inside the car and slammed the door shut. The SUV drove off smoothly into the traffic.
[Well, well, Master...]
The System wasn’t going to let go of the opportunity.
[Two dinner dates with two beauties in two days! Not bad. But yesterday her father cuckblocked you, and today...]
[Well, this was quite the show. First the girl, and then her bodyguard. I am starting to think you just attract crazy people.]
[She kissed you. Invited you to dinner. Flirted her way to ask you out for dinner. She is definitely after more than just your sexy body.]
Lucius exhaled.
"Did you get anything on her? Who she is? What does she want?" he asked, getting inside his brand new car.
[That’s the strange thing... Usually I might get a prompt automatically, but this time, there was nothing. It’s like something is masking her identity. Like there is a fog around her.]
Lucius frowned, "You are saying someone or something is blocking you?"
[Exactly. And that big guy with her? Don’t underestimate him like others. He will crush you without breaking a sweat.]
"Don’t I have you to take care of him for me?" Lucius nodded, his mind already working, "But the girl is going to be more tricky."
[Definitely. And so is tonight, you better be ready]
Lucius started the engine, and leaned back in his seat, "Then I guess I will find out tonight."

The black SUV cruised smoothly through the streets. Inside, the atmosphere was quiet but tense. The silver-haired girl sat comfortably in the back with her legs crossed, and a small smile still on her lips.
"Why are you going after him?" Across from her, in the passenger seat, sat a man with sharp cheekbones, long gray and black hair tied back, and dark eyes.
It was Marcus. The usual charm from his face was totally gone, and he looked unrecognisable. But one could still find the disapproval in his voice.
"Senior brother," she began, her tone still sweet like before, "He is not just some random boy Iris picked up on the road."
"That boy is someone Iris Levain is clearly protective of," The silver haired girl continued, "I checked, she cleaned up the mess he made at the police station herself. That’s no small favor."
Marcus narrowed his eyes, "So what? That makes him her little plaything."
"But he is not just a pretty face," the girl said, "You saw it. He wiped out Imran and Rauf’s men... Kidnapped Rauf, bled them of 26 Millions, and even made them clean their mess on their own."
"And don’t forget, he even got rid of your men in Udaipur."
"He might act casual, but he’s dangerous. Cold. Sharp," She flipped her silver hair back with a flick of her fingers.
"He is clever with that lost puppy-like charm."
Marcus leaned back slightly, "Then that makes him a threat, not an ally."
The girl smiled again and shook her head, "No. It makes him useful."
Marcus frowned, "He is unpredictable."
"Exactly," she smiled, "And that’s why I want him."
"He will be over key. If we get him on our side, we can get close to that girl Iris, who in turn will open her doors for us to reach the Levain family Matriarch."
She reached into her robe and pulled out a small jade bottle, no larger than a thumb. The green glass shimmered faintly.
Marcus didn’t speak, he just looked at the bottle.
The girl looked down at the bottle, her smile deepening, "And at tonight’s dinner? This..." she raised the jade vial, "... will be the highlight of the meal."
Marcus narrowed his eyes at the bottle, "You are playing with fire, Lilith."
Lilith smiled wider, her icy blue eyes glowing faintly.
"Then let’s see if fire can melt ice," she whispered.
