"HWANG Yejun, tell us what’s happening first," Semi said anxiously. "You’re making us nervous."

It was already bad enough that Eunseok would awaken because of drugs.

But it seemed like the trouble wouldn’t end there.

"The kid’s Status Window shows the contract that he signed with a certain ’Liege,’" Hwang Yejun explained. "The only ’Liege’ I know is the one the square-headed villains serve as their master."

Semi grabbed Hwang Yejun’s collar before she even realized what she was doing. But she couldn’t help it. "You bastard. Are you saying that my son is working for the enemies?"

Hwang Yejun remained calm. "Noona, I know you know that’s not what I meant."

"Honey, Yejun-ssi is right— he didn’t say that our son is working for the enemies," Chang-ho said, placing his hands on Semi’s shoulders gently. "Please calm down and let Yejun-ssi continue."

Her husband’s hands were shaking.

That immediately calmed her nerves.

"Yes," Semi answered right away while nodding. "And that’s so unlike our son. My husband and I have a close relationship with our Eunseok. He always tells us if he’s in trouble. But, this time, our son refused to confide in us."

Hwang Yejun fell silent.

That put Semi a bit at ease.

[Hwang Yejun is reliable. He asked us earlier to evacuate the Civilians in our house. I’m sure he already has a few solutions to help Eunseok.]

"Yeah, it’s actually an SSS-Grade Contract."

Semi and Geon both gasped.

"I-It’s a high-grade contract then," Chang-ho said nervously. "Yejun-ssi, do you have a skill higher than SSS-Grade that can break the contract?"

Hwang Yejun just smiled— neither confirming nor denying it.

"It must be a skill that nullifies contracts and curses since contracts and curses often come hand-in-hand," Semi said, but she didn’t wait for Hwang Yejun to confirm it. "I think Song Moonho has the same skill."

Hwang Yejun just shrugged.

That was enough confirmation.

[Song Moonho often signs contracts with either APA or sketchy organizations. And yet, even though he breaks contracts from time to time, he always comes out unscathed. So, he probably has a skill that can nullify contracts.]

It seemed like Hwang Yejun had the same skill.

"Noona, can I nullify the contract even without Seon Eunseok’s permission?"

"Why?" Hwang Yejun asked, confused, as he tilted his head to one side. "I don’t make mistakes when it comes to using my abilities, Noona."

"Honey, please evacuate with our people," Semi said to her husband. "I’ll take care of the rest here."

Yejun was surprised earlier when Semi deduced that he had the same skill as Song Moonho.

Because it was spot-on.
