"I THINK this is enough chitchat, so can I stab you really quick, Hwang Yejun?"

"Who do you think you are to have a one-on-one fight with me? You’re not on my level," Yejun said, scoffing. "I’m sure my Noona will handle you well."

After saying that, Hwang Minsu appeared— already prepared to fight seeing how she was already holding her beautiful crystal sword with a gold hilt. Two crystal cubes were floating on either side of her head, and those crystal cubes worked as her shield.

And, yes, the Hwang Triplets were known for having short-distance teleportation skill.

That was how Hwang Minsu appeared right in front of Yejun when he asked his older cousin to hide in the room next door.

"You’re not that important for our guildmaster to fight you one on one just because you wanted to, Kunwoo-ssi," Hwang Minsu said, scoffing at Kunwoo. "Yejun-ah, leave this delusional bastard to me."

"That’s the plan," Yejun said, draping the unconscious Park Ruda on his shoulder as if the high-class Guide was just a sack of rice. "Call me if you need help, Noona."

"Whatever, Captain."

Yejun just chuckled before teleporting to the next room.

He just carelessly threw Park Ruda on the sofa.

[Should I wake this bastard up?]

Yejun contemplated for a moment before he changed his mind.

Instead of worrying about Park Ruda, he just checked on Soline.

Fortunately, that room wasn’t being ambushed yet. But, even if it was, Soline and Song Sunho’s corpse were inside the ice barrier that he made.

[If only I could move Soline Noona...]

But he couldn’t.

There was a "magic circle" glowing under Soline’s feet.

It was proof that Soline’s skill was still active.

To be honest, Yejun wanted to run to Wonhee and made sure that she was safe.

But he had duties to fulfill as the Winter Guild’s Guildmaster and the strongest member of the Big 4.

"Wonhee-ya, you’re safe, aren’t you?" Yejun whispered to himself. "I’ll be late, but please wait for me."

To say Yool was surprised when a Status Window popped up in front of him would be an understatement.

He even took a step backward.

But the damned Status Window followed him.

"What do you want from me?" Yool asked, stopping himself from moving backwards since he didn’t want to hit the undead monsters behind him. "I’m not an Awakened Person, so why are you showing up in front of me?"

[Ong Yool, as the person who can rewrite the System, you have the power to change the fate of this world.]

That was too heavy of a responsibility for Yool’s small shoulders.

"Easy for you to say that," Yool complained. "How can I kill that... that thing?"

"Very funny," Yool said sarcastically. "If I shout ’Inventory,’ will the weapon fall out of the sky or something—"

BANG.

A huge sledgehammer suddenly fell out of the ceiling(?), creating a small crater— a testament as to how heavy the weapon was.

"NOOO!"

It wasn’t Yool.

The one who let out that blood-curdling scream was the "child."

For some reason, the "little girl" looked so scared while looking at the sledgehammer. She was shaking so much while stepping away from the blunt weapon as if she couldn’t stand being physically near it.

But since the child was trembling so bad, it was no surprise when she fell on her bottom.

[Is she really scared of this sledgehammer?]

Yool approached the blunt weapon, and then he touched the handle.

"NOOO! PLEASE DON’T!"

["Don’t" what?]

Yool tried to pull the sledgehammer off the floor.

He thought it would be heavy, but it was as light as a feather.

"OPPA, PLEASE DON’T KILL ME!"

Yool flinched when the kid begged her to spare her.

His mind knew that the child was actually a monster.

But he wavered because the monster had the appearance and the voice of a child.

"Oppa, please!"

Even so, Yool still lifted the sledgehammer.

And then it happened.

The "child" let out another blood-curdling scream.

And then it stopped.

The "child" also disappeared...

... and a white egg twice the size of an ostrich egg appeared on where the little girl should be.

[An egg?]

The Status Window suddenly popped up again.

[It’s your chance to kill the Womb now, Ong Yool!]

Haaah.

[Whatever— let’s just get this done and over with.]

And, so, Yool lifted the sledgehammer and aimed at the egg mercilessly.

WONHEE only got to breathe properly again once she was at Semi’s house.

She was happy that she was able to bring her fellow S-Class Guides there.

Ahyeon and Lee Seojin, too.

But there was a surprise guest.

"Hyung?" Lee Seojin asked while looking at Lee Seodam in disbelief. "What are you doing here?"

Yes, Lee Seodam was there.

Wonhee suddenly felt conflicted.

She knew that her relationship with Seodam Oppa was already over. And she was also aware that she should be wary of him.

However, her heart slightly gravitated towards her ex-boyfriend.

"I brought him here because the enemies want to kidnap him," Soobin explained, and then he turned to Wonhee. "I know this is awkward, but bear for it in the meantime."

Oh, right.

[I should be feeling awkward... hmm?]

Wonhee clutched her head when a splitting headache suddenly hit her out of nowhere.

Why...?

"Noona?" Ahyeon asked worriedly. "Are you alright?!"

"N-No," Wonhee said while shutting her eyes tight. "There’s a loud ringing in my head..."

"Wonhee-ya, you really should have been more careful."

"HWANG YEJUN!"

Yejun flinched when Soline suddenly opened her eyes and yelled his name. "What, Noona? You’re already done?"

Soline suddenly grabbed Yejun’s hands. "You have to see this!"

And what Yejun saw made him curse.

[That bastard...]

YOOL gasped when he saw a terrifying image after hitting the egg once.

What was that?

If that was a real memory, then...

"No," Yool whispered in disbelief. "Wonhee-ya!"

WONHEE opened her eyes and looked up.

She was then greeted by Lee Seodam who was standing in fron of her.

And then she noticed everyone around her was running towards her while shouting her name.

Ah.

Wonhee belatedly realized that Lee Seodam had his fingers wrapped around her neck. "Oppa...?"

"Where’s the older Wonhee?" Lee Seodam asked in a mocking voice. "Didn’t she realize that if she could return to this timeline, then I could do it, too?"
