"Having a good relationship with the Little Pink Book means good promotion deals for us; they might offer us discounts and additional promotions. On the other hand, if we don’t get along, they could easily smear our name," explained Vice President Zeng.

"So, these days, no matter the industry, anyone doing business would prefer not to offend Lu Youxi," Vice President Zeng glanced at Lu Youzhen.

Lu Youzhen was merely a pretty face and couldn’t grasp even these simple issues.

Vice President Zeng, looking through the restaurant glass, saw Lu Youxi and Zhou Shuyan leaving the place.

"I never thought that after all these years, their relationship would remain so good," Vice President Zeng didn’t quite understand how Zhou Shuyan could stay so devoted to Lu Youxi, unwaveringly so.

Hearing this, Lu Youzhen too looked in their direction.

Soon, a black Mercedes pulled up to the curb.

The car stopped at the roadside, headlights on.

The beams illuminated the piece of land where Lu Youxi had found Zhou Shuyan.

They stood by the side of the road, lit by the headlights.

Lu Youxi was somewhat lost as she gazed at the ground in front of her.
