CHAPTER 328: CHAPTER 328: THE ONE NAMED LU

When Shannon Quinn heard others praising Landon Sutton, she felt as if they were praising herself. She humbly smiled and said: "He hasn’t really managed these things. The restaurant was just across the street, you could get there by crossing the road.

Shannon Quinn laughed and said: "Next time, I’ll design a set especially for you."

Sharon Griffin: "Really?! Speaking of which, we seem to have a connection; my boyfriend’s last name is Quinn too."

Shannon Quinn: "Really? Does he work around here too?"

Sharon Griffin: "You should know him; he’s mentioned you to me."

Shannon Quinn was stunned for a half-second, guessing: "Jett Quinn?"

Sharon Griffin nodded: "At first he said he was your brother, but I didn’t believe it."

Shannon Quinn was a bit surprised for a moment, then asked: "Why don’t you work at his company then?"

Sharon Griffin sighed and said: "He initially asked me to help him, but I didn’t want to start working through connections right off the bat. I wanted to experience the workplace on my own. Besides, I only went for the interview at Sutton Group with a ’give it a try’ attitude; I didn’t expect to succeed. I naturally don’t want to miss out on such an opportunity. Actually, I have a bit of a selfish reason too, to see how a big company is managed, to learn some experience to go back and help Jett."

Shannon Quinn also knew that the current Jett Quinn was different from before. Even if she didn’t quite like the Quinn Family, if Jett had settled down and was willing to establish a family and develop his career well, she was still happy to see him getting better and better.

Shannon Quinn said: "I’ll give you my husband’s WeChat contact later. If you have any work-related questions, you can ask him directly."

Sharon Griffin was deeply moved: "Shannon, you’re really wonderful. Someday I’ll invite you and President Sutton to dinner with Jett."

Landon Sutton arrived late, sat next to Shannon Quinn after entering the restaurant, "Have the dishes been ordered?"

Then he lowered his head to ask Shannon Quinn what she wanted to eat.

After ordering, Sharon Griffin wanted to consult Landon Sutton about some work-related questions. "Sharon, if you have any work issues, just contact him directly."

Sharon Griffin looked at Landon Sutton, pursing her lips and said: "President Sutton is so busy; he probably doesn’t have the time to help me with my questions."

"No worries, send him a message, and he’ll reply when he sees it."

Sharon Griffin smiled and thanked: "Then I hope to learn a lot from President Sutton in the future."

Landon Sutton made a somewhat insincere smile and nodded perfunctorily.

Sharon Griffin used work as a reason to leave first, while Shannon Quinn looked approvingly: "Such a diligent kid."

Landon Sutton glanced at Shannon Quinn: "You’re about the same age as her."

Shannon Quinn: "Around the same age, but she’s just graduated, just entering society for work. She’s smart too; if you promote her, she could accomplish great things in the future."

Landon Sutton wiped his mouth with a napkin: "Are you saying I don’t have enough work, so you’re giving me additional tasks?"

Shannon Quinn: "Oh, as her senior, teach her more. When I first started working, I wished I had a mentor guiding me."

Landon Sutton: "That guy named Lu?"

Shannon Quinn chuckled: "He’s indeed my mentor; show some respect, why use ’that guy named Lu’?"

Landon Sutton’s expression wasn’t pleasant; he stood up to settle the bill while Shannon Quinn followed behind with a smile: "Honey, you’re the most suave, the most gracious man I’ve ever met."

Landon Sutton wasn’t buying into the flattery, keeping a stern face, but when they were about to cross the street, he stopped, looked back at Shannon Quinn.

Even with the traffic lights at the street corner, he still took Shannon Quinn’s hand as they crossed together.

"I’m holding a meeting this afternoon; you can sleep in my lounge."

Shannon Quinn curiously asked: "Can I sit in the meeting?"

Landon Sutton frowned and cast her a glance: "What can you understand?"

"That’s precisely because I don’t understand, so I’m curious about what you discuss in meetings."

"Alright, then write a report for me afterward."

Shannon Quinn pouted: "Giving me assignments now? Just give me a corner seat and pretend I’m not there."

Landon Sutton didn’t respond as he entered the elevator. Shannon Quinn rushed in, looking at him eagerly until the elevator reached his office floor, he finally said: "No talking and no sleeping."

Shannon Quinn froze for a moment, then realized he agreed, promptly nodding enthusiastically: "I promise to listen attentively!"
