CHAPTER 465: CHAPTER 465: HAVEN’T MET YOUR WIFE YET

The blonde woman’s tears immediately started falling, and she said, "I didn’t do anything wrong, why should I apologize!"

Marshall grabbed her blonde hair and was about to act, Ronan Rhodes frowned, looking a bit impatient, and sharply said, "Hurry up and leave."

"Yes, yes, thank you, Young Master Law."

Ronan Rhodes: "You’re lucky nothing serious happened this time, or you’d never have enough lives to compensate!"

Marshall snatched the phone from the woman’s hand and respectfully returned it to Shannon Quinn, then cursed the weeping blonde woman as he hurriedly walked away, "You damn woman nearly got me killed!"

The woman continued sobbing and muttering under her breath, being hurriedly dragged away by Marshall.

Ronan Rhodes turned around and asked again, "Are the ladies okay?"

Erin Bishop stepped forward, patting Ronan Rhodes on the shoulder, "You’ve got quite the presence now, you brat."

Ronan Rhodes smiled but didn’t start boasting about his abilities as he might have in the past.

After the incident with Charlotte Sheffield, he became much more composed.

But was clearly not as happy as before.

Shannon Quinn then asked, "What are you doing here? Out on another girl-chasing expedition?"

Ronan Rhodes shook his head with a slightly bitter smile, "Please don’t tease me, sis."

"Anyway, thanks a lot for today, but there’s one more thing I need to ask of you, please don’t tell Master Nate about this."

Ronan Rhodes was taken aback and then turned to look behind him, seeing a group of people emerging from a private room, among them were the husbands of these ladies.

The three of them instinctively hid behind the wall.

Ronan Rhodes calmly explained, "Master Nate is here discussing something this afternoon."

Shannon Quinn quickly waved at him, signaling him to leave quickly.

However, Ronan Rhodes said, "They’ve already arrived, probably saw you when they came out earlier."

Shannon Quinn frowned and slowly peeked her head out from behind the wall, intending to assess the situation, only to find Landon Sutton standing right in front of her, "What are you sneaking around for in broad daylight?"

The women, sheepishly, all stood out, their respective husbands frowning with interrogative looks, waiting for them to explain.

Fortunately, Ronan Rhodes didn’t add fuel by telling the husbands about the earlier incident with Marshall.

"Nothing to say?" Simon Rhodes looked at Susan Wilde, asking.

With a timid personality, Susan Wilde immediately felt guilty, stammering, "We just came out for a walk."

Landon Sutton looked at Shannon Quinn, "Came to the KTV for a walk?"

Shannon Quinn pouted, "Mind your own business."

Zane Rhodes: "You three shouldn’t be allowed to get together."

Erin Bishop, hearing this, became apprehensive, afraid that Zane Rhodes would force them to move back to their previous residences. She quickly admitted mistake, assuring, "There won’t be a next time!"

Ronan Rhodes stood aside, silent, only thinking that if Charlotte Sheffield were still around, she’d probably be joining in on the mischief as well.

It would be nice.

Each took their own partner for some individual scolding.

Susan Wilde, who had always been good-natured, especially knowing she was wrong this time, didn’t argue with Simon Rhodes.

Erin Bishop was also afraid that Zane Rhodes would separate the three sisters, so she humbly accepted criticism.

But Shannon Quinn was not so obedient.

"Obviously your idea." Landon Sutton said.

Shannon Quinn complained, "Can’t we have a little freedom?"

Landon Sutton: "Why? Isn’t the garden at home big enough? I’ll buy you an island?"

"Go ahead," Shannon Quinn said displeased.

Landon Sutton: "Then I guess you’ll sneak off to swim in the sea every day."

Shannon Quinn crossed her arms grumpily, gazing out the car window.

Landon Sutton chuckled softly, asking her, "You snuck out to play, and I haven’t yelled or scolded you, so why are you upset?"

"You call this not scolding? You’ve been talking my ear off!"

"See, I’m talking calmly, but you always end up shouting and arguing after a few sentences, I mean..."

Shannon Quinn turned to glare at him, "So you’re saying I’m fierce? Have you met some gentle girl you wish you’d met sooner?"

Landon Sutton laughed lightly and said, "Other than meeting you, which felt like I wished we’d met sooner, I’ve never had that feeling with anyone else, plus, your fierceness isn’t new, you were even fiercer when we first met. I don’t mind you shouting at me, I’m mainly worried about you being pregnant and not being able to handle emotional stress."

Shannon Quinn frowned, scrutinizing him for a moment, "Who did you learn this from? Now you’ve got a spiel going on?"

"It’s the honest truth."

Shannon Quinn was moved by what he said. Seeing his mood seemed pretty good, she said, "Next week I’m attending the company’s new product launch."

He surprisingly agreed readily, "Sure."

Then he added, "I’ll go with you."

Shannon Quinn was momentarily stunned, "Suit yourself."

He seemed more understanding than before. Since finding out she was pregnant again, he appeared to be in good spirits.

On the day of the new product launch, he also brought Leo along.

Shannon Quinn didn’t seem like she went to work; it was obviously a family outing.

However, Landon Sutton’s presence delighted the organizers.

Even Shannon Quinn, a minor celebrity in the design circle, was overshadowed by him.

This time, Shannon Quinn did not participate in the design; the lead designer was Sheila Yardley.

Sheila Yardley had been in the industry for a few years, and while not very famous, she was enough to carry the event.

Shannon Quinn strolled backstage and, on her return to the venue, happened to bump into Caleb Grant and Peach.

The father-daughter pair maintained a good relationship as always. Peach, holding Caleb Grant’s hand, curiously looked around, still as cute and quiet.

And increasingly resembling Sheila Yardley.

"Mr. Grant, you’re here too?" Shannon Quinn greeted him.

Caleb Grant glanced up at her, smiled, and nodded, "I just ran into Vincent, did you come together?"

Shannon Quinn nodded, "Yes, he insisted on coming along, and since the kids are on vacation, we thought we’d bring them out."

Just as she spoke, she saw Leo enthusiastically running from afar towards Peach, shouting from a distance, "Peach sister!"

Peach was very happy to see her brother but only smiled sweetly and shyly; she still didn’t speak much.

When Leo reached her, Peach smiled and reached into her pocket, pulling out a piece of candy and handing it to Leo.

Leo glanced at Shannon Quinn before reaching out to take it, politely saying "Thank you."

Shannon Quinn: "Let’s go, sit over there."

Leo took Peach’s hand and walked forward, and Shannon Quinn, watching this scene, increasingly hoped she could have a little sister.

But with a six or seven-year age gap, who knows if they could play well together.

Shannon Quinn imagined, then looked at Caleb Grant, who was walking slightly ahead, and tentatively asked, "How come I’ve never seen your wife?"
