CHAPTER 115: – TO TEMPT ME? –

Ring.

A pause.

Three more rings of his doorbell followed after.

Nikolas, who’d just had his shower and was in nothing but a loose pair of sweatpants, walked past the living room, a bit of droplets of water dripping from his wet hair.

Who was at his door at this hour? It was almost ten in the evening and besides the rain outside was too heavy.

And how did they even come up to the hundredth floor? He was sure it wasn’t Lucian. The man would have said if he intended to visit him.

Standing at the door, the system read his entire silhouette, and upon confirmation, the door clicked unlocked.

He grabbed the handle, opening the door.

A pair of bright hazel eyes locked with his, jade white teeth dug into the bottom lip, and face flushed a bit.

"Viviana?" Nikolas blinked rapidly. The last person he would have expected at the door of the king en suit was Viviana. His wife. Moreso that she was in a short thin lining red night dress, that made his blood rush frantically through his body.

"Aren’t you going to let me in?" She asked, with eyes narrowed at him. "Or do you have someone here and you don’t want me to see?"

Nikolas swallowed. He grabbed her hand and pulled her in, shutting and locking the door. "What are you trying to do, Viviana?" he asked, voice vibrating with a tint of panic.

She knew what she was doing to him. But she played innocent, frowning. "What do you mean? Have I done anything?" She shoved him aside and proceeded to explore into the living room.

"Oh, the king en suit is far better than I expected," saying so, she plopped into one of the large sofas, crossing her legs. The gesture further pulled the dress up her milky thighs.

And it didn’t go unnoticed. Nikolas saw and he didn’t look away, asking, "What are you trying to do, Viviana?" His voice was gravelly from something far from innocent.

She tilted her head, her hair pouring over. With a bored expression, she scrutinized him, shrugging. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."

Her eyes dropped to his hips, and immediately amusement flashed on her face. She pointed "Look at that. Your little guy is putting on a show." She was taunting him. She was playing around with him and oh, it sure was working, because that sweatpants was hiding nothing.

She knew what she could do to him and she was taking full advantage of it as if she were trying to...

"Are you trying to torture me?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes. "What did I do? Is it because I said you were a terrible kisser?" Now, it was his turn.

And sure enough, she didn’t find it funny.

"Say that again," she dared him, jackknifing off the couch to her feet.

He grinned. "Why? What are you going to do to me if I do?"

Viviana pressed her lips together, now standing in his space. He was provoking her and it was working, because she’d reached up, grabbing his hair and reducing his height to hers.

They stared at each other, face to face.

"You came here to torture me, didn’t me?" Nikolas asked, running his tongue in the inside of his cheek. "That’s why you’re like that." He lowered his gaze to her frame, eyes growing hooded. "It’s really working. I feel tortured and it’s taking everything in me not to touch you."

Viviana scoffed, letting go. "Have a goodnight, Nikolas." She turned away from him, walking off to his door. But he was behind her in seconds, grabbing and slamming her back into his solid frame. He lowered his head to whisper, saying, "You can’t do this to me."

"Nikolas, let go."

"Why? It’s not fair. You come up here and make me like this. But then you proceed to leave now, to leave me like this. That’s wicked of you."

She snickered, but grabbed at his wrist. "I didn’t do anything to you. Now let go of me before I bite you."

"You didn’t do anything to me, really?"

Her body went still. She could feel the entire length of him, a gratifying flush rising all over her face. "I—that’s not—"

He grasped her wrist, pulled her along with him into his bedroom where he tossed her into the bed. She blinked up at him, breath hitching as he got above her.

Her throat worked in a swallow.

"Won’t you tell me to stop?" He asked. "Tell me to stop, and I will."

Viviana licked her bottom lips. She didn’t say a word, but instead, grabbed at the back of her head and took his mouth in a deep kiss. When she broke off for air, she glared at him, "Still think I’m a bad kisser, huh?"

Nikolas smirked, face growing in a large grin. "I was messing around with you sweetheart. You are far too easy to provoke."

He ran a hand up her shoulder to grab at the nape of her neck. And then he went down on her, kissing her, much roughly, intimately, possessively, passionately, in every way possible. And Viviana took all of it with the very same vigor.

Using his free hand, grabbed one of her legs, spreading it further apart to properly settle in between her. Then he ran his hands up her thigh, only to pause. He dilated his pupils a little bit before he grinned, narrowing his eyes. "You little devil of a woman."

"You came here in nothing. Why? To tempt me?"

She scoffed at him. "You flatter yourself."

"You are very wicked. And I will make you pay for what you’ve done to me tonight." He descended on her shoulder, kissing, biting, bruising her skin with pretty hickeys.

Viviana was breathing heavily. But she completely forgot how to breathe the second he sucked her nipple through her dress. A sound fell out of her and she laced her fingers through his hair, gripping.

"Nikolas—I—wait—" She writhed as he bit down and then resumed sucking, driving her mad.

"You’ve made me a mad man," he said, pulling back. "Why did you really come up here, wife?" he asked, unbothering to take the dress off. Instead he tore it off which made Viviana glare at him.

"You know you could have just taken it off? Do you have a thing for tearing clothes?"

"Maybe I do? Don’t bury my questions now."
