CHAPTER 1462: CHAPTER 1461: BREAKFAST FUN

Breakfast was another quick affair that left me feeling rather happy despite it being something I was so accustomed to doing anyways; moving around my new, personal kitchen making food for my family was just something that filled me with a warmth I never thought I would have.

This was the sort of feeling I had given up on ever feeling in my previous life, especially with what was currently inside of me at this moment in time; the idea of being able to be like this while I was in a relationship with not just one, not two, but three drop dead gorgeous women was inconceivable to my previous self.

Especially considering this was only made easier to maintain thanks to the impossible levels of stamina and vitality that filled the people in this world compared to my old one; if I had to have these three pining after me I don’t know if I could manage it without magic... let alone with their penchant to do everything as risky as possible.

Just thinking of what would likely happen if I was just the normal human me instead of this new Dogkin version of myself was one that filled me with a conflicted mix of emotions; on one hand it was the sort of helpless, submissive thing that I loved but on the other knowing that it would be impossible to maintain without magic was... scary.

Anyways, all of that fun stuff aside I was pretty happy to be making pancakes for the umpteenth time, and being able to fill a big table with them and watch as everyone came shuffling on into the dining area in various states of drowsiness was very warming to me.

Mother was yawning as she cuddled Alessandra against herself, the two sharing in their tiredness together and seeking some extra warmth and comfort from the closeness, while Lakshmi was sitting atop her Mom’s shoulders looking lazy yet very much awake.

The Demoness she was riding on was awake too, and the smirk she had as she lounged in her chair made me roll my eyes since I knew it was going to be mimicked - unintentionally - by the other large Demoness that was coming down sometime soon.

As for Mother Ria, she just let out a content sigh as she sat down again, not looking as worn out as Mother but definitely not completely awake just yet either; then there were the other two who weren’t exactly ’family’ yet, and both of them seemed to be blinking away sleep as they took a spot at the table too.

"So, how was the first night in your new bedroom~?"

I wanted to tell her off for being rather intrusive yet at the same time I was so aware that this was just how she was that it really didn’t bother me, and honestly there was no embarrassment on my end with the knowledge that she knew what we were doing.

"It was very good; the room is spacious and I can’t wait to get some more furniture to fill it all out. I never really thought about having a ’floating’ bed, like just smack dab in the middle of the room, but it was quite nice. The large windows behind the bed illuminate everything well enough, and that area is going to be turned into a little reading spot for me."

"Oh, you put the bed right in the middle of the room? It’s a good idea; keeps things a little more quiet and contained when some parties get a little too ’invigorated’ in their ’fights’~!"

Not caring too much about her words and innuendos, I just focused on the bacon and sausages in the large pan, knowing that this would be what drew the two carnivores down from the bedroom and potentially save the Vampire from something too... ’invigorated’.

To that effect I did prepare a glass for Leone to help rejuvenate her for this morning, making sure to keep the slicing of my wrist out of sight for the two little ones; a few moments later I was proven right as a pair of very messy haired futanari raced downstairs with lopsided grins.

They were thankfully clean enough and didn’t look like more than freshly awoke beauties, but that was if you weren’t constantly in situations like all of us were at this table; we all knew the look but kept quiet about it, save for Mom giving Jahi a proud wink that made me roll my eyes.

Leone came down a minute later, shuffling and rubbing at her hip with a pout that made it abundantly clear she wasn’t ’thrilled’ by what had happened, yet she didn’t complain at all nor did she try to sit anywhere besides right next to Jahi.

Bringing over the rest of the meal I made sure everything was good before sitting down myself, pouring myself a cup of tea with a liberal amount of sugar before stacking four pancakes onto my plate.

Mother raised a brow at me only to look away when I turned over to her, the older Dogkin not saying a word yet making me feel rather conscious about what I was doing... only to promptly ignore it when I considered how many calories Jahi alone had wrung out of me.

It was hard to ’shame’ someone for eating far more than usual when you were dealing with a voracious partner, let alone three; to that degree Mother actually wasn’t able to actually understand me here since she only had to deal with two, and I imagine Mother Ria wasn’t... well...

Maybe not, but still, I will wager that a Jackalkin and a Demoness outweigh an Elf and a Demoness in this sort of thing, let alone when a Vampire is added...

The meal itself though started quiet before sparking up into conversation as the food began to wake everyone up, starting with the more tame, bland topics about the days prior before moving onto the more important things as our brains were nourished by my wonderful pancakes~!
