My Slave Contract System: Gathering Broken Heroines to Survive.
Chapter 35: Slave king.
CHAPTER 35: SLAVE KING.
Aisha lay at the side, her naked body covered with Ash’s dark cape. She had fallen asleep after having the best night of her life.
While she was asleep, Ash, who was already wearing his trousers, stared shirtless at the screen in front of him.
[You have gained 10,000 points for making love to your slave.]
[Aisha’s bond has increased to 82.]
[Your bond with your slave has gotten stronger. A forced evolution will be issued at 100 bond.]
Ash sighed.
Just as he was about to scroll, another notification popped up.
[Your slave has also awakened the chance to use the Sigil power-up.]
[Note: The power of the sigil can only be activated after kissing your slave. Upon doing this, your slave will receive a 100% boost in all stats.]
[Would you like to activate Aisha’s sigil?]
Ash didn’t hesitate.
"Yes."
[Request confirmed.]
[2500 epoints will be deducted.]
[Do you agree?]
"Carry on."
[2500 epoints have been deducted.]
[10,200 epoints.]
[Sigil has been activated.]
Ash quickly looked to the side, noticing a faint pink glow from right under the dark cloak covering Aisha’s body.
At the same time, he noticed the same glow appear on the back of his hand. It was a strange symbol, matching the sign that was on Aisha’s lower body.
He took a closer look at it, wondering why the symbol would suddenly show up on his body.
Then the system notification popped up once again.
[A new unique skill has been obtained.]
[Slave King.]
[Description: This skill allows you to turn your slave’s unique essence into weapons, depending on their personality and the type of essence they have.]
’A new ability. I can’t say I am that surprised, since her bond level went up and all.’
Ash soon looked toward Aisha’s sleeping form.
He thought about trying the new ability on her while she was asleep, but he figured it would probably be dangerous.
It was a risk to her life, since he didn’t fully understand the ability yet.
So, instead of feeding his curiosity, he decided to head to bed and get ready for the journey tomorrow.
Unbeknownst to him, someone had been looking at him the entire time.
...
The following day...
Ash slowly opened his eyes to the sound of people discussing something outside the tent.
At first, he noticed the slight light of the sun seeping through the tent, so he quickly understood that it was already morning.
Looking to the side, he also noticed that the entire tent had been arranged and Aisha was no longer inside with him.
’Another day...’
If he could sleep longer, he would.
Who knew having sex could be so draining, then again, it might just be because he transferred way too much mana into Aisha during the whole thing.
But knowing the task at hand, he could not afford to rest, not even for a single second.
As he pushed himself up to sit, he realized it had been a while since he had spoken to the Devil King in his sleep.
Normally, she was supposed to show up any time he fell asleep. Or at least, that was what he had initially thought.
However, every time he slept, he would have no recollection of meeting her.
This could also mean she never appeared in the first place.
Tired of thinking about it, Ash stood to his feet, put on his top, and stepped out of the tent.
Upon stepping out, he saw Aisha in front of the campfire, roasting the meat they had caught the night before.
Echidna was at her side, helping.
As soon as Aisha spotted her master walking out of the tent, she immediately left the fireside and sprinted toward him, a huge bashful smile on her face.
"Master, good morning. Did you sleep well?"
Ash was surprised the instant he saw her.
At first, he thought he was just seeing things. But the closer she got, the clearer the change became.
Aisha had gotten prettier.
Her silver hair was longer, and her eyes seemed brighter. Even her once-slim shape had gotten curvier. It was almost surreal; if he were another person, he might not have recognized her.
"Master? Are you alright?" Aisha tilted her head to the side a bit in confusion.
’She hasn’t noticed the change?’ Ash thought to himself. His gaze flicked to Echidna. ’She must have at least noticed, right?’
"Yeah, I’m fine," he finally replied. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, I was hoping to roast something for you, but we ran out of meat, and I was just calculating the rations we had left."
"I see. We’ll be traveling this morning, but we can’t go on an empty stomach. Stay here. I’ll go and get us some meat."
Before he could walk away, Echidna spoke from the fireside.
"Kelvin already went to do that over there." She pointed towards a small path leading to another part of the canyon. "If you join him, I am sure you both can catch something worth eating."
Ash frowned at her comment.
It wasn’t in a mean way, but more of a questioning manner, as he wondered why Echidna was speaking on the matter in the first place.
Surely, she and Kelvin were not hoping to leech off them for another day.
Without uttering a single word to her, he made his way towards the path she had pointed to, his cape dancing with the wind as he walked.
Aisha looked at Echidna with an apologetic look and uttered, "S-sorry about that. Master is a nice person; he just isn’t good around people."
"Oh, I know," Echidna replied with a smile. "But the one he is with is not so nice."
"What do you mean by that?"
Echidna only smiled in return. "It’s nothing. Just go and get ready for the trip."
Aisha frowned at her reply but decided to take her advice and walk toward the tent.
"There are more things out there than what you think," Echidna uttered to herself. "If you don’t learn to protect what’s yours, then others will take it from you, just like that."
...
Ash continued to walk through the small path until he finally reached a small clearing.
There, he saw Kelvin, who was busy with a bow and arrow in his hand, trying to aim at a wild beast that was running away.
