CHAPTER 93: RED LOTUS CLUB

After getting dressed well, Leon came down the stairs with a smile on his face. He had used this small timeframe to settle his mood too.

It was as Amber said, it was the last day he could enjoy, so he needed to make the best of it.

He didn’t wear anything flashy since they were going to bars for drinking and doing some late-night stuff. A man wearing flashy clothes was just asking for attention, especially if that man had a face and body like Leon’s.

Academy girls also wanted to get him in their bed, but there were rules binding them and they were also very disciplined. After all, most of them came from prominent families, so they wouldn’t be too open about it.

But now he was stepping into the outside world where men were few and women could be found in every corner. He was like a sheep entering a wolf’s den.

He had means to protect himself, so he wasn’t really worried about his safety, but why bother making things troublesome when everything could be solved easily?

As he entered the room, all gazes fell upon him, and he could see sparkles in many of them. Even if he wore simple clothes, he had still styled his hair and made himself look better.

Deniz gave a big thumbs up alongside Bella while saying, "You look awesome!!!"

"Wow! Brother Leo is so handsome!"

"He’s one in a million!"

"No, he’s definitely one in a billion!"

’There aren’t even one billion people,’ Leon smiled at their ridiculous comments and grinned. Then, he even did a few poses while saying, "Witness divine miracle in person. I’ve come to grace your eyes."

Evelyn threw a cup at him which he instantly caught and turned towards her, only to see her telling him, ’Dramatic and cringe. You don’t even have 10% of my genes in this department.’

"I don’t know about other things, but I’ve definitely inherited shamelessness from you," Leon rolled his eyes and turned towards his friends. "Oii! Let’s go! What are you waiting for?"

The four of them stood up and bid farewell to Evelyn, with mainly Rani being a little too emotional. Evelyn gave her a tight, warm hug, and only then did she seem relieved.

As they walked out of their house, Leon found a big hovering car waiting for them outside.

"Little Brother, you really look extra handsome today," Natasha said with her ever-present sweet smile. "You can charm anyone today."

"Is it working on you?" Leon didn’t waste the opportunity and smiled slyly at her.

Since Natasha seemed serious about their relationship, he also had to change tactics. Being slow now would only further destroy their bond.

Natasha was so taken aback by his response that all thoughts and words vanished from her mind. She never expected Leon to actually return her flirting.

A red hue crept onto her cheeks as she stared at him in a daze. It certainly matched quite well with her beautiful pink hair.

"I guess I got the answer," Leon smiled and entered the car. He took the driver’s seat since he had already done the research and knew where to go.

Others also slowly entered the car, but they were still looking at him. Bella, being Bella, smiled widely and said, "You’re too good, Leon. You’re probably the first one to actually make her blush. Usually, it’s the other way around."

"Don’t compare me with bums," Leon said before turning towards Denver. "And you’re definitely not one of them."

"I never cared about those things," Denver said, a little confused as to why he was being included in this.

Leon shrugged and took them to Red Lotus Club located on the western edges of the city. He had done his research and that definitely included asking Amber, so he knew it was the best bar in Vale.

By the time they reached there, Natasha had also gotten over her inner dilemma and was chatting normally with others. None of them brought up the Academy and matters related to it because they just wanted to relax for now.

The Red Lotus Club was in the outer area of the city where the influence of authorities was little. It was famous for housing any and all kinds of people as long as they followed the club’s instructions.

Of course, that didn’t mean they were in some underworld-type area. It was still a very good area where decent people lived, but they were mostly people who wanted to be away from the authorities for various reasons.

This was also the reason why this Club was here. It was completely legal but still did things that required it to be away from the authorities.

Leon had done all the research before coming here since he didn’t trust Amber on stuff like this. And it was the right choice since Amber’s words were too vague.

"Just go to Red Lotus Club and enjoy. It has the best alcohol!" were her words.

As the five of them approached the metal gate, two guards wearing black battle suits with a red lotus pattern on their chests and plasma guns in their hands stopped them.

"First time? Recommendation or Card?" one of the guard women asked.

There were only three ways to enter this Club. First one was to have the membership card of this Club. For newcomers, the second and third methods worked. They either needed the recommendation of an existing old member or show them that you had the capital to be inside.

"Here!" Leon took out the credit card, which made all of the people stare at him strangely. Even his group was among them.

Still, his expression remained the same as he stared at the guards. They had to take it since it was also a legal payment method.

The woman hesitated for a moment before taking the card and then checking it in a machine. Her eyes seemed to shake as her head snapped towards him.

Her tone changed instantly as she handed the card back to him and said with a smile, "I hope you have a good time, Sir."

"We definitely will," Leon smiled behind the mask and entered the club with his friends.

The guard waited for him to enter and then tapped on her ear, "Mistress, someone with that card just entered the club. What should we do?"

[...Are you sure?]

"How can we mistake it?" The guard smiled wryly and said. "I should get my eyes taken out if I can’t even recognize it."

[...What did you do?]

"I just respectfully sent him inside."

[Good! I’ll increase your salary. You handled it well.]

The guard woman’s eyes brightened up hearing that.

[Hmm, so it’s this boy, huh.]

"Maybe she took a liking to him and you know, like became his Sugar Mommy," the woman guessed.

[You want to get fired?]

"I apologize, Mistress. My tongue just slipped." The guard woman hurriedly apologized upon realizing what she had just said.

[You better not say it to anyone. I want my settlement to remain safe. The last time was already enough.]

"Yes, I’ll keep that in mind." The woman was already sweating a lot remembering the past.

[Just let them enjoy. But keep an eye out if any troublemaker approaches them. We can offend anyone but not that crazy woman.]

"Understood! We will keep an eye on everyone."
