[Dying Faith] is a card similar to Yu-Gi-Oh!’s [Companions] card, which takes away an opponent’s follower on the field when your follower is destroyed. Although it’s an effect that targets, it’s still quite good in today’s Life Card Duel environment.

As for [Show Weakness], Shen Sui was a bit dissatisfied. I reduce a follower’s Spirit Value on my field to 0, only for the opponent to not be able to battle?

Is this reasonable? This is unreasonable!

To add restrictions, Shen Sui directly wrote the effect of a 5-star card as a small essay. It’s just a pity it’s not as strong as Shen Sui’s first draft, mainly due to the activation timing limitations. In Shen Sui’s failed modification version, [Show Weakness] could be activated during the main phase, allowing him to summon a follower in the first turn and then activate Show Weakness, discarding a Follower Card, to prevent the opponent from limiting his developments with hand traps.

Such a strategy can’t be achieved with the second version, but overall it isn’t overshadowed and can absolutely bring a smile to the opponent’s face.

Shen Sui suddenly had a feeling that, even without his guidance, this girl would accomplish great things on her own.

However, this segment wasn’t over yet.

[The villains left, but Alice was not happy. She endured the excruciating pain of magic backlash but did not find Anna among the survivors; her best friend Anna was taken away by the villains.]

[The knights of the Master of Thunder arrived late, not minding taking credit for driving away the villains and demanded exorbitant redemption fees from the villagers.]

[The knights took the land and the freshly matured wheat fields from the villagers. With all the men and land lost, the village no longer had any value, and the surviving women decided to go to their relatives in Andrew City.]
