"Fine, let’s talk." One of the servants boldly met Melody Thorne’s gaze, raising her chin. "You’re just a bitch who follows our young master around every day...!"

"Slap_" A crisp slap echoed in everyone’s ears.

Everyone looked at Melody Thorne in disbelief.

Especially Jared Quinn, who had been watching her from the beginning. At this moment, seeing her action made him narrow his eyes dangerously.

Although Jared had not looked at Melody properly since she married into the family, he had some impression of her as a meek little mute. Since when had she learned to fight back?

Melody put all her strength into it, slapping the servant to the ground, with clear finger marks on her face, which was very obvious, showing she had used a lot of force.

The hall was filled with the sound of people gasping for breath; almost everyone stepped back a few steps, staring at the scene in front of them, unable to recover for a long time.
