CHAPTER 51: CHAPTER 51: SO YOU’VE GOTTEN BOLD

Melody Thorne was still in shock as she looked at the man who had just dragged her in. She initially wanted to struggle, but when she saw Ellie Thorne outside, her mouth agape with disbelief and annoyance, she turned her body.

Her long and perfect legs wrapped around Jared Quinn’s legs, and then, with a very indulgent expression on her face, she pressed against his chest, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Ahh!" Sure enough, Ellie Thorne’s hysterical scream echoed from outside.

The elevator doors closed, and Melody Thorne quickly and seamlessly slipped off Jared Quinn.

"You’ve really grown bolder now, huh?" Jared Quinn took a step forward, one hand bracing against the elevator above her, squinting his dark eyes.

Melody Thorne thought he was referring to the matter of hitting someone. She didn’t want to pretend anymore and confidently said, "My hand slipped, what can I do?"

This brazen voice made Jared Quinn cast another glance at her.

"Ding," the elevator opened.

Melody Thorne ducked under Jared Quinn’s arm and got out faster than him. In the past, she timidly followed him, seeking his favor, but now, she wanted to leave him behind.

Whether now or in the future, he could only follow behind her.

After getting out of the elevator, she didn’t go forward but waited for Jared Quinn to come out, handing over the lunch box in her hand, "For you, I’ve brought it, and I’m heading back."

Jared Quinn glanced at the lunch box in her hand, his crimson lips forming a straight line. He took her arm and continued to lead her into his office.
