Erina found a new pair of stockings from the cabinet. She ran her hand down them, gathered them into a circle, then stretched out her flawless white leg, stepping all the way in, and pulled the stocking edge upwards. The black stockings shimmered with a metallic luster in the sunlight streaming through the curtains. While Renz was still asleep, Erina put on her clothes and then, turning around, mounted Renz’s body through the covers. With such movements, Renz naturally woke up.
Here, Renz didn’t actually need to make breakfast; sometimes Senzaemon Nakiri would take care of it. Renz, enjoying the leisure, had been a bit lazy. But seeing Erina swaying on top of him, he immediately asked, as if by reflex, "Hungry?" He thought Erina might not like the Old Man’s breakfast and wanted him to get up and prepare something in the kitchen.
"A little," Erina said, touching her lower abdomen, revealing her perfectly defined abs. Erina’s strength training had always been excellent, resulting in a healthy and beautiful, devilish figure that stirred Renz’s desires.
"Before getting up to make breakfast, Erina, have you considered something?" Renz said calmly.
"What?" Erina was a bit surprised. She remembered there
wasn’t anything special to do in the morning.
"I miss my son," Renz reached out, one hand already on Erina’s clothes button, his movements smooth and practiced.
"Hey, isn’t this not a good time?" Even though Erina felt it was a bit inappropriate, she didn’t seem very resistant.
"Why are you always thinking about such lewd things?"
Erina added, lowering her head, seemingly wanting to say more but holding back. Renz really wanted to retort, weren’t you the most enthusiastic before the baby was born?
Would it work if only I was lustful?
Maintaining that posture, Erina didn’t refuse. Only when their eyes met, she unusually averted her gaze, her cheeks slowly warming.
"Erina!"
A sudden voice rang out. It wasn’t Renz speaking. But both Renz and Erina were very familiar with this voice.
Alice.
How did that brat just barge in? She didn’t even knock! She has no regard for others’ privacy! Did Auntie teach her noble etiquette only for her to throw it all to the dogs? The bedroom door was violently forced open. Erina attempted to dive into the covers at top speed to hide her extremely compromising position, but Renz’s hand, still on her clothes, didn’t react in time to Erina’s movement.
Oh-oh.
It’s over.
Erina took a deep breath. She could feel the clasp at her back coming undone. Luckily, she narrowly avoided disaster and was hidden under the covers.
"It’s so early, and you’re not even up yet?" Alice’s first words upon entering were an exclamation of surprise.
Erina was on the verge of exploding in anger, but then she saw Alice holding up a plate in her hand.
"Erina, look, look! Breakfast I made for you! I heard new mothers are usually quite weak, so I experimented to see if molecular gastronomy could create some tonic-like breakfast specifically for you," Alice said with an excited tone. "It’s definitely delicious and nourishing!"
That tone... she’s here to take credit, isn’t she?
Erina was truly speechless with anger. You couldn’t exactly call Alice rude; she was probably swept away by excitement, only thinking of bringing her new dish to Erina. She acted impulsively for a moment and forgot to knock. Besides, their relationship before was very strange. You could say it was good, quite affectionate.
But then you could say it was bad, sometimes they truly couldn’t stand each other. Entering each other’s rooms without knocking had been a habit since childhood, it’s just that Alice forgot there was someone else beside Erina.
"Come, get out of bed and eat," Alice said earnestly.
Get... out of bed? Erina was a bit stiff. Her bra clasp had come undone... she didn’t want Alice to see her body naked; this wasn’t like soaking in a hot spring.
"I’m not feeling too well right now, I don’t want to get out of bed," Erina reached out, trying to re-clasp her bra under the covers.
So tight.
Can’t reach...
It seemed her chest had grown another size, and the gap between the clasps was at its limit. It was a bit difficult to clasp it. She could only stall. Erina thought. Renz must have noticed Erina’s embarrassment because he was the one who accidentally pulled off the clasp. Renz fumbled in the darkness and seemed to have found the bra clasp at the back. He tried his best to fasten it.
However, he might have used a bit too much force, severely compressing the space. Erina’s chest, experiencing the impact of the bra’s tug, choked for a breath, though she suppressed the sound with a cough.
Safe.
Renz and Erina thought simultaneously.
"Are you not feeling well?" Alice leaned closer. "Should I
go call a private doctor?" Saying this, she placed her homemade breakfast on the bedside table.
"Maybe I didn’t sleep well last night and caught a chill; it’s nothing serious," Erina said, feigning a lazy expression from under the covers.
"What do you mean ’caught a chill’? You’re clearly making excuses to stay in bed," Renz quipped from the side. There was definitely no illness; Erina was just finding an excuse to escape the awkward situation she was in, but this excuse would unfortunately lead to new problems. However, this awkwardness wasn’t caused by Erina alone, nor did she need to find an excuse by herself.
Wasn’t Renz there too?
Alice had largely become immune to their banter. She
basically ignored the sparks flying between the two.
"Oh, speaking of which, it’s true, you two got married and then simply retired to have a baby. If you hadn’t retired, Uncle Azami wouldn’t have developed so rapidly in the Japanese culinary world," Alice said, with a slight pout. From her tone, it sounded like she had a lot of complaints about Erina’s father.
Alice and Erina used to play together frequently as children. When they got a bit older, Alice stayed in Northern Europe, and Erina moved elsewhere. While living in Northern Europe, Alice wrote many letters to Erina, but unfortunately, Azami Nakiri secretly tore them up. For a time, Alice thought Erina didn’t want to play with her anymore. This was why Alice’s relationship with Erina was initially so delicate.
Later, when she mentioned it to Erina, she learned that Erina had never received her letters. So where did the letters go? Through her own investigations, she gathered clues from others and deduced that the letters might have been intercepted by Erina’s father. From then on, Alice held a strong grudge against Azami Nakiri. Azami Nakiri’s rise in the Japanese culinary world wasn’t because Alice’s cooking wasn’t good enough; she had long wanted to find a way to have a Shokugeki with his capable proteges.
"Azami’s rapid development also has a lot to do with the Old Man not restricting him, doesn’t it?" Renz thought. It would have been quite easy for Senzaemon Nakiri to prevent Azami Nakiri’s development. Even if his father-in-law had some assets in Europe and America, within the Japanese culinary world, the Nakiri family was a sleeping dragon. If Senzaemon Nakiri didn’t give him a chance, Azami Nakiri wouldn’t even have the opportunity for a seedling to grow.
"That’s right, Grandpa believes that a new culinary academy appearing can bring new competition to the Japanese culinary world and prevent Totsuki Academy from becoming too dominant, leading to a lack of competitive pressure."
"Grandpa is happy to see a hundred schools contending."
"However, Grandpa didn’t expect that the main students and favored disciples at Seiryo Academy were all split off from Totsuki Academy."
"Especially Eishi Tsukasa."
"He’s won many culinary competition championships internationally."
"Seiryo Academy’s reputation was built by him. After graduating, he also became an honorary lecturer at the academy."
"Plus, Eishi Tsukasa is ranked third in the world."
"Totsuki Academy hasn’t had any students reach such a
high ranking recently."
"Many excellent new talents in Japan have gone there."
"As for Totsuki, its brand is old, but its momentum has not kept up with Seiryo Academy’s leapfrog development in recent years." Alice shook her head and said, "The most frustrating thing is that the ones helping them gain fame are actually turncoats from Totsuki."
Renz wasn’t surprised that Eishi Tsukasa was close to his father-in-law. Their culinary philosophies were extremely similar; both advocated using top-tier ingredients to create artistic dishes, and they shared a common trait of being somewhat self-appreciative in their personalities. However, his father-in-law was even more malicious and extreme.
"Hey, Renz, if you can defeat the current Eishi Tsukasa."
"I, Alice, will unconditionally help you with one thing, under mutually agreeable conditions."
"My word is my bond."
