Hinata listened intently to Saul's advice over the dinner table, replaying the fight in her head. She nodded in response to every point and finally when he was done she spoke.

"Saul-kun... I'm really stupid, aren't I? My talent, my bloodline, someone like you would do much better with them instead..." 

"Don't say that about yourself, Hinata. If I was as strong as you, I wouldn't have to use my head so much. Without lots of practice like this - I wouldn't be able to give you advice like this now."

Hinata smiled self depreciatingly. But she still nodded along with his words,

"From now on, I'll always listen to you. I promise."

Saul kicked her shin lightly under the table. "I believed you the last time you said it, silly girl. Stop worrying so much!"

Hinata felt warm inside. Her Saul-kun always had her best interests at heart, no matter what. Even with how much she must have disappointed him today, just look at how he was trying his best to cheer her up! He was so, so smart, yet didn't disregard her dumb words or opinions either. With infinite mercy and patience, he even took the time to show her the error of her ways directly. She would have to do better. She would listen to him no matter what.

Getting up from her chair and scooting her plate over to his, Hinata couldn't help herself from straddling him from his lap. She kissed his face, once, twice, three times. Saul raised an eyebrow. Oh no she had to show some restraint! Giggling, she turned around and leaned back into him fully, beginning to feed him bite after bite.

"Hey... Saul-kun. I love you💗"

"I love you too Hinata." 

She giggled again. "I know. I just wanted to hear you say it~!"

After the meal, Hinata really just wanted to show him how special he was to her. She dragged him to bed, straddled him, and began making out with him. Kissing, sucking, licking, she wanted him. No, she needed him!

"Saul-kun... Can we do it again tonight? I want you inside..."

Saul thought for a moment. Usually he would just accept, why was he thinking? Did she do something wrong? Was he still upset with her?

"Hinata. Can you check our surroundings with your Byakugan?"

Ah. This again. Last time she hadn't found anyone, but she learned her lesson from today. Saul-kun was so, so smart, he always had good reasons for everything. She would follow what he asked for wholeheartedly.

Her eyes activated, and she checked the surroundings of the house. This time however, there was a masked man in the trees. The mask he was wearing seemed to block the vision of the Byakugan, but his white eyed glare made her press forward with anger. The veins surrounding her eyes bulged. The mask he was wearing around his face obstructed her powerful gaze no further. He was a branch ninja. A Chunin of her former clan, judging by his attire.

She smiled darkly. "Saul-kun... I found a pest lurking around our home. Should I squash it...?"

Saul shook his head. "Tell me exactly what you see."

"A Hyuuga branch clan Chunin. Spying on us. Watching us." She scowled, "I want to kill him, Saul-kun."

"You really shouldn't do that." Saul sighed. "You can go beat him up, but bring him to me afterward, unconscious. Do not seriously injure him. Just like us he is a ninja of Konoha. There will be consequences if you go overboard."

Hinata mellowed under his gaze, nodding obediently. 

"I understand Saul-kun."

Hinata gathered her gear, putting on her bow and quiver. Then she formed the seal for the shadow clone jutsu, as per his advice. The clones were all armed with bows and blunted training arrows as well. One clone opened the window, and they all disappeared using the body flicker jutsu. 

The observing Chunin watched with fear in his heart. Had she noticed him? But then he forcibly calmed himself down. This was Hinata he was thinking about. A mere crying genin, a shame to their clan. He was tasked with making sure the pair didn't go too far - and to interrupt them if they were to become sexually intimate.

After all, the former Heiress would likely have a marriage arranged for her with someone in the clan later. No one in the Hyuuga clan would accept 'used goods'. She had to be a virgin. Pure, untainted by that civilian ninja filth. Even if she was worthless as a ninja, her appearance was still unmatched.

The man got up, readied his gentle fist, and waited for her to approach. However she just stood there, looking towards him, as all her clones scattered and made distance. He figured this was just a trick - she was trying to make it seem like she had escaped to draw him away. But in reality the real body stood, waiting for him to leave. How naive. 

As long as he was here, watching the boy, there'd be no danger. It didn't matter where Hinata went. Even if her real body was among the clones and she truly had tricked him - no matter. What would running away alone do? Would that even matter?

Suddenly his face paled. What if one of the clones was the boy transformed! What if they had snuck away while he just stood there like an idiot, focused on the genin here? Oh no! He had to confirm if the Hinata and the boy were real. Or else, he'd be punished for his incompetence.

Hinata watched as the Chunin anxiously approached her real body. She smiled at him once he was in front of her.

"H-hi! What are you doing here?"

It could speak!? (he didn't know she could use the shadow clone jutsu) He heaved a sigh of relief. This was really her real body.

"I am Hyuuga Yamato. I am here at the request of the Hyuuga clan elders to ensure your safety."

"Safety?" The dark haired girl tilted her head. "But I'm always safe with my Saul-kun. Why are you here? I-I don't like being watched..."

Yamato now felt bad for the girl. He had a daughter who he hoped to grow up to be just as beautiful as Hinata, and talking to her now reminded him of his daughter. If only Hinata had been born within the branch clan, would her life still be this miserable? All she needed was a little discipline from the caged bird seal to become a well behaved, honorable, and beautiful woman!

"I'm sorry, but the elder's requests are absolute. They fear that Saul might overstep his boundaries with you, so they sent me to help make sure your purity is maintained. I'm not here to do anything bad, just here to help." He smiled. "Feel free to go back inside and enjoy your evening; I'm just watching."

Hinata froze, processing what he said with shock. Then rage, fury, anger, swelled up from the middle of her chest, restrained only by Saul's command. 'Do not seriously injure or kill him.' She couldn't help but start giggling.

Yamato was confused and a little unnerved. Was something he said funny? He didn't think anything he said could be interpreted as a joke. After she finished laughing, she looked up and smiled at him. 

"Don't worry Yamato-san! I understand your intentions per-fect-ly~!"

He stepped back. She stepped closer. 

"Again you don't have to worry Yamato-san! After all, Saul-kun told me specifically that I couldn't kill or seriously injure you! We're just going to have a little fun!"

Suddenly a dark shadow entered the absolute range of his Byakugan and sped towards his back. He twisted to dodge, but a few more pierced slightly into his sides, bruising his ribs. He turned back to the girl who had entered into melee range, but he couldn't even put up a fight. He was writhing in pain from the arrows hitting him just hard enough to pierce slightly into his skin despite the dulled tips.

The girl in front of him brushed his arms aside gently like they were taking care of an unruly child, despite him using his full strength to try to resist. Her arms were lightning fast, and she moved with unparalleled grace. Yamato felt like he was a drunken, stumbling fool in comparison. His tenketsu were sealed one by one, and then her hand, streaked in blue, flashed to his chin. 

His eyes rolled back into his head, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. The actual fight had not lasted even a second. Hinata couldn't believe he was a Chunin!

"How... Pathetic. Saul-kun was much stronger."

She plucked the arrows sticking lightly out of him free. She hadn't even drawn her bow fully out of fear for injuring the man, but it seemed the blood would still make a little mess. Hinata wasn't too happy about this. 

She summoned a shadow clone to carry him inside so she wouldn't get dirty. She couldn't show that kind of appearance to her beloved Saul-kun after all!
