CHAPTER 72: MYSTIC LION V

"Just F*ing die already please." Tim cursed out, as he was frustrated by the teamwork and intelligence of the lions.

Tim had assumed that the battle would be easy for him since he had just levelled up and all his stats were boosted, but that was no the reality of things.

The reality was that if Tim faced the Mystic Lions without levelling up twice, then he and his entire collection of undead would have become food for the cubs of the lions.

"I do not get why you are so tuff." Tim lamented, as he got closer to the lions and performed a vertical slash. The slash was also stopped by tail of the lion, and before Tim could even think of the next pattern of attack to use.

His danger sense flared up once again. Tim hurriedly created space between himself and the lion. Nothing had happened but he did not want to know what would have happened if he had not escaped the area.

"It seems like my close combat skills need some work. I can’t believe that I have to be relying on the spells of my undead." Tim said, as held his sword with his two hands.

With a serious focus, he casted his Fireball spell, then manipulated it to spin around his sword. All this happened within a second.

His eyes were now set on the lions that were of the ground and lunging towards him.

"Gale Smash!" Tim yelled, as he released the most powerful spell in his arsenal.

SWOOSH

A mixture of wind and fire emanated from Tim’s sword and accelerated towards its target. The lions were sort of helpless because they were not on their feet.

POOM!

The blast of the wind struck them and sent them flying. BOOM BOOM BOOM

They crashed into a mixture of mini boulder and trees because of the force of the attack.

’Finally, something that works. I really don’t want to spam this skill. I am already feeling tired. But what is the fun of battle if I don’t spam the op skill multiple times.’ Tim thought, with a smile.

He did not need to wait for the lions to get back up on their feet. He casted another Fireball spell and manipulated it all so easy.

He was going to finish the unnecessarily long battle that had been going on.

Walking slowly towards the crash site of the lions, he saw the lions. They were actually bruised up from the attack.

In all honesty, he had even expected the attack to cut the lions in half. The attack seemed sharp to him. but ultimately, he was not disappointed that the attack did not cut the lions in half.

He knew that the reason for that was because of his limited sword skills.

The lions seeing that Tim was approaching them, hurriedly got up on their feet and released another scorching hot fireball towards Tim.

Tim smiled when he saw the attack. He already knew the cure for the attack that was coming his way. The cure was simple.

Tightening the grip of his sword, he raised it and slashed towards the attack. It wasn’t a regular attack; he did not forget to include the Gale Smash spell into the slash.

A powerful wave of wind with a little mixture of fire accelerated towards the massive fireball and dispersed it.

Tim could see the shock in the lion’s face hen he easily dispelled their attack.

"Are you not going to give up? From the looks of things, I have won this battle already. You can just give up and make life easier for you." Tim said in a mocking tone, as he continued to work towards the lions.

The lion roared in response. "Shit." Tim cursed, as he covered his ears from the oppressive release of sound that the lions could produce.

One of the lions, seeing that Tim was a little confused, took it as an opportunity and dashed towards Tim.

Tim seeing this smiled, yes he was in pain, but it did not mean that he could no longer battle with them.

As the lion was 20 inches from Tim.

He stabbed his sword forward and released Gale Smash. POOM!

The lion received a direct hit to the head from the attack, which sent it flying and crashing against the ground.

Tim smiled. It was such an easy kill. But the smile later left his dace.

’Why is there no notification? Is that beast still alive? Was the spell not powerful enough? It did not seem to be as powerful as when I called out the name of the spell.

Do I need to be calling out the name of the spell to achieve a more powerful effect? Wha--’ Tim’s thought was cut short, as he dodged a heavy swipe of the paw from the other lion.

The paw was followed by a massive bite attempt that Tim blocked with his sword. "It seems like somebody is angry that I hurt its friend." Tim said mockingly as he saw held off the massive mouth that wanted to bite his head off.

His danger sense rung again, and Tim did not need any memo to know that it was the tail of the lion that wanted to put an end to him.

He did a backflip and escaped the strike of the tail narrowly.

"I need to end this." Tim said, as he hurriedly casted his Fireball and Wind Strike spell. He needed a finishing blow.

The lion seeing that Tim was about to possibly release the attack that dealt damage to its brother. Opened its mouth and released a massive fireball.

"Gale Smash!" Tim yelled, as he tried to confirm a theory.

A furry of powerful wind coupled with a violent fire accelerated in a wave and crashed with the Mystic Lion’s massive fireball.

FOOO! POOM!!

An explosion occurred which displaced Tim from his position.

Tim’s powerful wave had smashed through the lion’s fireball and crashed into the lion. Sending it crashing deeper and deeper into the ground as the powerful wave continued.

Seconds later. Tim heard the notification he was waiting for.
