CHAPTER 529: THE MORNING AFTER
Coco groaned, her body flinching as her consciousness returned to her, her eyes fluttering open.
The world around her was both hazy and a little blurry after being pulled out in the depths of her dream which was a damn fine one if she did say so herself.
I dreamed that Alhai went to my room.. Coco thought as her room came into focus, the faint light filtering through the curtains providing a soft glow.
The comfort of the bed she was lying on enveloped her, but the air carried a subtle scent of something unfamiliar.. Not the same scent she always smells when she wakes up.
She felt a moment of disorientation, but blinked the sleep from her eyes and slowly began to regain full awareness.
However, as her consciousness fully returned, so did her senses.
She became increasingly and awfully aware of the various aches and pains that seemed to have accumulated in her body.
In particular.. Her hips, thighs, and the sensitive area between her legs throbbed with a dull ache, a place where it will only hurt if it was stimulated over and over again.
The pain lingered, but it was the kind of pain that drooling women and men would welcome.
Oh..
Coco’s eyes widened as the memories of the previous night flooded her mind, the realization of what had taken place in her bed hitting her with force.
In an instant, she jolted upright in bed, her body tensed and her eyes wide.
Did I really sleep with Alhai?! Coco wondered, her body going rigid as she brought a hand on her face and covered her mouth from the shame that slowly creeped under her skin.
The events of the night replayed in her mind, every touch and sensation a vivid memory.
The heat, the intensity, the connection— it all came rushing back like a tidal wave, causing her heart to race and her cheeks to flush with both pleasure and embarrassment.
Oh, fuck, fuck, fuck.. I took advantage of Alhai! I only wanted to see if the kiss would count as a clue, but I went too far! Coco thought, her face turning pale.
Coco quickly threw her legs over the edge of the bed to run to Alhai’s room and apologize with her head planted on the floor, but as she attempted to bolt upright, a sudden tightening sensation wrapped around her waist, pulling her back down onto the bed.
She gasped, startled by the sudden restriction and turned her gaze to its source.
There, she found the very person whom she had taken advantage of last night, his arm wrapped firmly around her waist, a sleepy expression on his face.
He held her captive, his grip gentle but unyielding.
"Where are you going?" Alhai grumbled, his voice deep and tinged with grogginess that easily cut through the tension with a simple question.
Coco’s eyes fell upon Alhai, her cheeks flared with heat, her breathing momentarily catching in her throat— the mere sight of him, even in the morning’s soft light, caused her heart to flutter.
Who gave this mediator the right to be this fine early in the morning?! Coco screeched in her mind, embarrassment growing deeply inside her chest.
She swallowed thickly, her words coming out slightly hushed, barely above a whisper. "Nowhere.. Just.. Uhm, I thought of looking for you and.. Apologizing.."
However, the mediator before her didn’t hear what she said.
With his gaze remained locked on her, his eyes started wandering down on her naked body and almost immediately, his real irises gleamed with a familiar hunger, the intensity of which mirrored the desire he had shown the night before.
"Alhai?" Coco called, noticing that he wasn’t paying attention to her and in a fluid movement, he shifted their positions.
Coco’s lips parted as she was suddenly put beneath him, his arms caging her under him.
His eyes were still half lidded with sleep, but they roamed over her form.
Coco quickly tried to gather her composure, her words coming out in a slight stammer as she attempted to regain control of the situation, but it was quite hard at the way he looked at her.
"Okay, okay.." She began, her voice laced with worry. "I know we had.. A lot of fun last night, but we have work today."
Alhai’s expression remained blank, his face devoid of emotion, though his eyes held a look of sadness as he leaned forward, burying his face in the crook of her neck.
His body pressed against hers, their bare skin rubbing against each other unconsciously.
The heat of his skin against hers sent a shiver down Coco’s spine and despite her attempts to remain cool, her resolve wavered as a familiar wave of desire washed over her.
Alhai quickly shifted away, not wanting to press his weight against her more than he already was, but as he tried to create a bit of distance between them, he found himself unintentionally rubbing against her in a way that caused a jolt of pleasure to run through his body.
"Alhai—" Coco gasped, her body involuntarily shuddering, a surge of pleasure rippling through her as she felt Alhai slide against her in just the right way.
Alhai’s cheeks warmed as he looked down at her because he still found himself in awe at the sight of her, unable to believe that she was willing to embrace him.
"Do you want to go for one more round? Hm?" Alhai whispered, his voice was low and it was enough for Coco to chew on her lower lip.
Coco’s eyes briefly flicked towards the window, judging the daylight seeping through the curtains.
Oh.. Not much daylight yet.. Coco mused in her mind, pleased that the day had yet to fully awaken so she nodded in agreement.
"Okay, just one more." She replied, her voice slightly shaking with excitement.
"Thank you." Alhai mumbled and leaned down, his lips finding purchase on her neck. "I’ll have you sing out my name in a minute."
