Jane Spencer finished speaking and stomped off toward Liam Spencer, fuming. She couldn’t believe it; Maya would have the guts to turn and walk toward Lillian Morris. Even if Maya really had the courage to approach Lillian, the two of them would only meet a more terrible end.

"BOSS." Elijah Reed felt wronged, thinking Liam Spencer was too unreliable today; since the plane had been called back, why hesitate? Bringing Maya back would obviously be the best option.

"Elijah, shut up." In truth, Liam was more nervous than anyone else because he anticipated Maya choosing him more than anyone present.

However, he was also the least self-confident person in the room; he feared Maya might choose feelings over him. Even though he held the lifeline of Hanson Clan Group, Maya was not easily controlled; if she truly hardened her heart and acted selfishly, who could stop her? Thus, his palms were sweating, yet he pretended to be indifferent.

"Liam, not to criticize you, but you can’t even handle your own wife, yet you’re asking me to keep an eye on her for you. Do you have no shame?" When Jane Spencer approached Liam, she ignited the flames with ill intent.

Even if Maya couldn’t escape Liam’s grasp, Jane had witnessed Liam’s indulgence towards Maya and didn’t want him to continue pampering her or giving her face. So she added fuel to the fire, hoping Liam would resent Maya, ensuring she had a poor ending.

Jane Spencer looked at the imposing Elijah Reed, her smile becoming colder, yet she felt it beneath her dignity to argue with Elijah Reed. Handling such a small underling didn’t require her stepping in.

Therefore, she turned her gaze to Ryan Spencer and mischievously reminded, "Brother, don’t blame me for not warning you. Isn’t there a celebrity divorce case that’s pretty hot recently? Apparently, the celebrity’s wife and her agent were involved, and they ran away with the celebrity’s assets."

"Liam, I think you should go back, check the accounts for clarity, or investigate Maya, so you don’t end up being made a fool." Jane arrogantly believed she was providing Liam with clues and desperately wanted to kill off Maya, thinking recklessly with the hope of using Liam’s hand to eradicate her, so that her arrogance would disappear.
