Hao Ren spent one day dealing with the various things before he met with Han Lingshi. The two hugged each other and Lingshi asked, "You came back just in time."

Hao Ren smiled and replied, "You had given me a timeline, how dare I miss out on it?"

Han Lingshi smiled and said, "I have just made a breakthrough, and need to consolidate my foundation. After that we will head to the north of the Spirit Siphon Continent."

Hao Ren nodded in agreement and replied, "I will go and try to comprehend the things that I have learned over the time and improve my saint halo."

The two exchanged a few words and then after a few moments, they both headed in separate cultivation rooms to settle the thoughts in their minds. While Han Lingshi wanted to consolidate the gains she had made with her Cultivation technique, Hao Ren wanted to focus on his own gains.

The young man sat inside the closed room and took out the puppet that he had taken away from the Star Iron Island, and began to perceive the mystery hidden inside it. His spiritual energy covered the puppet and Hao Ren began to perceive the marks engraved on its body. The technique began to emerge albeit slowly.

Hao Ren stored it all inside his mind, one mark at a time and when he was finished, he found out that the technique was not actually a technique that allowed someone to look into the future, or calculate the stuff that might or might not happen to them, but a combat technique that allowed him to interpret even the slightest of the spiritual energy, around and inside the opponent.

Hao Ren was flabbergasted, because he felt duped. The young man sighed and replied, "God damn it, Tang Zhen, you are such a shitty prankster."

Hao Ren was speechless for a bit, he knew that this technique had a great strategic value, but he didn't know if he would even get the time to unleash the technique at all. All this while whenever he had to fight, the opponent would be too weak, because Hao Ren always stirred clear of the stronger opponents.

Hao Ren was stunned after hearing this but he was aware that the system didn't lie to him, and this was indeed the truth. He had been cautious since he came to this side of the barrier, but now that he was dwelling deeper inside the Spirit Siphon Continent, he has come to understand that there were people who were far stronger than him.

Hao Ren was in the world realm of cultivation and he knew about the existence of the experts in the realm of heavenly titles. He wasn't sure how strong these people would be but whatever he found out about them made him realize that he was still far too weak.

These people had given up on meddling in the secular affairs and would only focus on their cultivation. However, the system has told Hao Ren very early that closing off completely would never yield high results.

The young man thought for a bit and began to focus on the technique at his disposal. The secret lay in the circulation of the spiritual energy inside his body and how it would manipulate his eyes. Hao Ren understood that if mastered, this technique would allow him to see the spiritual fluctuations emitting from the attacks of the opponent.

This wasn't an easy task, perceiving the spiritual fluctuations often needed the state of utter focus, and to do that in a battle, how could it be easy. Hao Ren sat inside the room for a day and then he stood up to find himself a sparring partner. The reason was simple, he wanted to try using the technique while fighting and see if it was even feasible.

As soon as he came out of the room, he found Hao Yin walking over from the other side. She was in the Dao Dust realm and had been following a Ye General to polish her skills. She saw Hao Ren and her cold face turned into a blooming flower as she smiled and dashed over to the side of her father.

Hao Ren smiled and patted her head gently, he noticed that the girl had a long sword tied to her waist and he smiled, "Do you like this sword?"

Yin nodded and replied, "It is very good, but I need to be stronger to display the complete strength of this weapon."

Hao Ren nodded in approval and asked, "Where are your siblings?"

Yin replied, "Agnee has gone out with Auntie Lingxue, and Yang is on the patrol duty with Uncle Master Peng."

Hao Ren nodded and said, "Go, call over Ye Si, and then come to the training field."

Yin nodded and vanished from her spot at a quick speed. The young man placed his hands behind his back and walked to the training field, he noticed that the walls of the palace were now covered in even more intricate lines. These were arrays that would be activated from the defence center if needed.

He could tell that they were the handiwork of Xiao Mei. As he was inspecting the palace, he found that the level of cultivation of the people working inside had risen to a higher level. The growth of the Spirit Shimmer Continent was obvious by just this one thing. Hao Ren wanted to go out and tour the nation but he had a lot of things on his hands and he trusted the Ye Generals completely.

While mulling over the thoughts, he reached the training field and found Ye Si standing there in her war armor and Hao Yin standing beside her, the two of them were discussing something but Hao Ren could not understand it. These two ladies were using telepathic communication.

Hao Ren approached Ye Si and asked, "Xiao Si, what is going on with the full war armor? Are you going to battle me at full strength?"

Ye Si nodded and said, "Well, something like that."

Hao Ren raised his brow and Ye Si said, "I will be fighting you, but I will only support Xiao Yin. She will be the one handling the frontal assault. Whenever you are close to gaining an upper hand I will step in to fight."

Hao Ren was left between tears and laughter as he said, "Well, I am not asking you both to spar with me, but to help me perfect a movement technique. I am at a crucial step and cannot breakthrough until some pressure is applied, so what do you think?"

The ladies looked at each other and then at Hao Ren as Xiao Si said, "Well that just caused my plan to change. Fine, we will help you. But you owe me a big bowl of chicken noodles."

Hao Ren chuckled and nodded in consent. Then the training session began. Hao Ren faced Ye Si, and Hao Yin, they were both very precise in their actions and they were quick as well. The young man had to pay a lot of attention to the situation as the attacks coming at him were relentless.

After five minutes, Ye Si had managed to leave a small cut on the sleeve of Hao Ren's hanfu. This had never happened before, but then Hao Ren realized that because he wanted to force himself to learn the technique to sense the spiritual fluctuations and that was hindering the flow of spiritual energy that he needed to execute the movement technique. This hindrance was the reason why he was unable to execute his usual techniques. He raised his hand to stop the two girls and pinched his chin as he began to ponder.

The system remarked snidely, *This is what happens when you get used to the spoon feeding ways shown by the system. You are forgetting what I said to you on the first contact. I told you to work for everything that you want, bitch. Did you forget?*

Hao Ren didn't bother with the system and thought, 'What if I try to run two different strands of spiritual energy through my body?'

The system fell silent and then it yelled, *You fucking moron, do you want to die that bad?*
