Olivia, on the other hand, was unfazed, like she was just poking around with a couple of needles instead of performing surgery.

The doctors and nurses watching were stunned, marveling at Olivia’s skills.

“Don’t let her young age fool you. She’s got magic in her hands,” one of them said.

“She’s a total badass. If I could have even half her skillsb, /bI’d be over the moon,” another added.

Olivia wrapped up the minor surgery in no time.

Edward was still under the influence of the anesthesia, his head swimming and his vision blurry. When he saw Olivia next to him, without thinking, he instinctively tugged at the hem of her shirt.

Olivia’s face seemed to merge with his memories of Ivy. In his daze, he could almost see the gentle, adorable Ivy, grinning and begging him to take her out for cheesecake.

“Ivy,” Edward mumbled, but the drugs got the better of him, and his grip loosened.

Olivia didn’t catch what he said. She checked bhis /bheart rate and made sure he was stable before

    taking off her protective gear.

As Olivia washed and sanitized her handsb, /ba nurse said, “Your friend’s got some serious stamina. He’s handling this dose of anesthesia like a champ. He seemed to be quite reliant on you when he was just drifting off. Is he your brother or somethingb?/b”

Then the nurse thought, ‘But they don’t really look alike, and besides, family members aren’t supposed to operate on each other‘

Olivia said, “No. He must be confused because of the anesthesia. After all, he’d already mistaken me for someone else once before.” With that, she left the operating room.

The nurse muttered to herself, “There’s just this weird vibe between them, like they’re somehow alike, but I can’t quite say why. Could they be a couple?” Her imagination was running wild.

As soon as Olivia bstepped /bbout/b, she made a beeline for Andrew. She still needed to talk to Donald. “Where is bDonald/b?” she asked in a steady voice–one’d never guess she’d juste out of surgery.

“We’ll talk about itter,” Andrew said as he handed her a slice of red velvet cake and a cup of coffee. He added, “You haven’t eaten all night. Have something to keep your energy up.”

Olivia took a sip of the coffee, feeling instantly better. She asked, “Did you have coffee too?”

Ethan jumped in, “Mr. Shea remembers what you said, Ms. Summers. Not only did he stop drinking coffee, he even tossed out all the beans.”

Olivia nodded and said, “Not bad, you do listen.” She then handed the coffee back to Andrew and dug into the cake. She asked, “How did you know I like bcake/b?”

“When you want to know something, you just do,” Andrew replied. He gently tucked a strand of Olivia’s hair behind her ear so it wouldn’t get in the way while she ate, a teasing glint flickering in his

    deep eyes.

Neither of them noticed Charles standing off to the side, lookingpletely dumbfounded.

Charles had known Andrew for ages, but he’d never seen Andrew act this way before. Today was definitely an eye–opener.

Olivia took a few bites of the red velvet cake and said, “Next time, skip this one–I’m all about cheesecake.”

“Sure thing, whatever you say,” Andrew replied, arching an eyebrowi, /ihis eyes glinting with yful flirtation.

When Charles heard the word “cheesecake“, he froze, his breath hitching. He tried to say something, but nothing came out. He thought, ‘Ivy is crazy about cheesecake, too. Is it just a coincidence?‘

Charles took a few hurried steps toward Olivia, but before he could say anything, he was interrupted.

“Ms. Summers, someone’s here to see you,” a nurse said.

Olivia set down the cake and headed out the door.
