Andrew nodded, unable to hide the admiration in his eyes. He thought, ‘She’s really smart.
Olivia clutched the pendant, her face giving nothing away. She decided to talk to Samuelter and see if she could meet Donald. The whole Magnolia Town incident was finally over, but her memory still hadn’te back. She knew Donald was her final lead.
Besides human trafficking, there was also forced surrogacy among the dirty secrets bin /bMagnolia Town. Olivia had no say in what would happen to this vige.
Her main reason foring here, besides trying to recover her memory, was to let the world know what happened in this ce.
She wanted every woman to protect herself and stay alert to danger. Women’s safety wasn’t just talk -it was something that had to be taken seriously.
Once everything was settled here, Andrew returned to the hotel. He made sure Jenny was asleep first, then went back to his room to shower and get some rest.
About an hourter, Andrew came out of the shower with a towel around his waist, water still dripping off him. He unhurriedly wiped his wet hair with one hand and picked up the phone that wouldn’t stop buzzing.
It was ba /bcall from Winston.
Andrew was a little impatient, but he still hit the answer button. He said, “Hey, Grandpa.”
Winston snapped, “You little brat, how dare you bring up breaking off the engagement with Winston? Do you have any idea how many people are dying to marry into the Summers family? And here you are, not even realizing how lucky you are.
“Let me warn you, don’t mess around. Once Ivyes back, Samuel will definitely want to keep her by his side–bhe /bmight even take a son–inw.
“You don’t even know if you can hold onto your spot as her official fiancé, and you’re already thinking about calling it off? Have I spoiled you too much?”
Andrew let out a long sigh and thought, ‘Grandpa is always this bossy and short–tempered.’ He poured himself a drink, tossing in a few ice cubes.

He said, “Grandpa, I’m just not cut out for marriage. Why drag her down with me? This is something for us younger folks to handle–why are you always stirring things bup/bb?/bb” /b

Winston mmed his hand on the tableb, /bmaking the pen holder shake and the pe everywhere, even sshing a few drops of ink from the inkwell.
He snapped, “Messing things up? Who’s messing things up? You’re my only grandson–how could I not be anxious? Be honest with me–do you already have your beye /bon someone?
“I heard you’ve been spending a lot of time with a girl who knows a bit of medicely.”
Andrew’s annoyed look softened a bit when Olivia was mentioned. He said, “Keeping tabs on me, old
manb?/b”
Winston snapped, “Show some respect. I’m your grandpa.” His jowls quivered with anger, but he swallowed his frustration and let out a long sigh.
He continued, “Ever since that fortune–teller said you were doomed to be single, you’ve kept your distance from women. It’s been driving me nuts with worry.
“Now I hear you’re getting close to a girl, and honestly, I’m thrilled. So tell me the truth–do byou /blike
her or not?”
He thought, ‘If Andrew has feelings for that girl, I would shamelessly go to Samuel and ask to break off the engagement I’d do whatever it takes to make things work for Andrew.’
Just then, Andrew picked bup /bthe herbal pouch Olivia had given him, and her image appeared in his
mind. A faint, almost unnoticeable smile softened his eyes.
Winston demanded, “Say something, you brat.”
Andrew said softly, “I’m interested.”
Winston’s eyes lit up, and he couldn’t hide his excitement. He eximed, “Really? Atta boy.” Then he crossed himself and murmured, “Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your grace.”
Andrew had always been a loner–cold, distant, and seemingly indifferent to women. Winston had watched him spend every free moment with Charles and had almost begun to wonder whether he might be attracted to men.
Andrew said, “So, can we call off the engagement now? After all, I’ve already got someone I’m interested in.”
Winston paused for a moment then replied firmly, “It can be done, but ording to Samuel, you have to talk to Ivy yourself and get her forgiveness. So if you want to break off the engagement, you have to find Ivy first,”

Andrew replied, “Got it.” He traced the rim of his ss with his finger, then knocked back the drink in one go. The liquor burned down, leaving his chest hot. He added, “Is there anything else you want to
talk about?”
Winston said, “Obviously, I’ve got real business–why else would I call? Aren’t you still hunting for the Phantom Healer? I just got word: tomorrow afternoon, he’ll show up at a hospital in Hirica to treat a patient diagnosed with a brain tumor.”
“Is that reliable?” Andrew asked.
Winston replied, “Hard to say, could go either way. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Phantom Healer put out the fake news himself, to mess with people. We’re not the only ones after him, you know.”
Winston’s tip wasn’t just some rumor–he’d shelled out a hefty sum for it. True or not, there was no way Andrew was going to miss out on this.
Besides, the hospital was run by one of Winston’s old buddies, so the news sounded pretty credible.
Word was, his friend’s grandson had gathered everyone for a meeting today, announcing that someone important would be showing up at the hospital tomorrow. They had to be on their toes- everything had to go perfectly.
Chances were that mysterious VIP was none other than the legendary Phantom Healer.
Andrew replied, “Alright. Doesn’t matter if it’s real or not, I’ll go see for myself.” He couldn’t afford to miss any lead–only the Phantom Healer, maker of the Refreshing Pill, had a chance of saving Jenny.
Winston replied, “Alright. If you manage to track down the Phantom Healer, no matter what it costs, you have to convince him to treat Jenny. And if he can cure you, too, that would be even better.
“Honestly, you and Jenny are the only things left weighing on my heart. Once you’re both healthy, I can finally face your grandma in the afterlife.”
Winston had spent decades running the huge family business and dominating the business world, but now, at the end of the day, his only real worries were Andrew and Jenny.
Andrew lowered his gazeb, /bletting out a long, quiet breath. He didn’t say a word for a while.
Winston doted on him and Jenny more than anyone else. Out of all the grandkids in the family, only he and Jenny had health problems.
All these years, Winston had tried every famous doctor he could find, but none of them could cure Andrew or Jenny. Now, the Phantom Healer was theirst and only hope.

Winston cleared his throat softly and said, “Alright, enough of that. I’m heading to Hirica in a few. days. When the family partyes around, make sure you bring that girl along. I am curious about
