Once a Nobody. Now A Queen

Olivia thought, ‘The only exnation is that someone wiped my memories. But why would anyone do that? Who would be hurt by what I remember?‘ For now, she was at a loss.
Grace continued, “But that fire was suspicious. It was winter–how did it even start, and why did it spread so fast?”
Olivia curled her lips into a sly grin, a glint of mischievous glee in her eyes. She replied, “Maybe I started it.”
“Stop talking nonsense,” Grace said, gently tapping Olivia on the head. She added, “Are you hungry? Let me whip up something for you to eat.
“I’ll fix something for Sean, too. He’s always eating, but he never grows any taller. He’s already ten and still stubbornly refuses to go to school.“.
Grace kept muttering to herself as she walked into the kitchen, leaving Olivia sitting properly and quietly by herself in the courtyard.
Olivia thought, “I wasn’t talking nonsense. If it came down to it, I really could’ve burned the whole vige to the ground.”
Before long, Sean burst into the courtyard and handed Olivia a report.
“Good job,” Olivia said, ruffling Sean’s fluffy hair. She then took the report and scanned it carefully.
It was Juliet’s medical report–Sean had hacked the hospital’s website to get it.
Olivia frowned at the tumor on the scan and thought, ‘Just like Lucas said, it’s a nasty one. But there’s still a chance it can be cured.”
Olivia’s medical skills were solid. Her fingers danced across the virtual keyboard, and she quickly mapped out a hybrid surgical n mixing traditional and modern techniques.
She sent it straight to Lucas, telling him to forward it to the hospital so they could start prepping for the surgery.
In a sh, Sean had already darted into the kitchen to raid the fridge.
Grace shouted, “Sean, that’s not beven /bcooked yet–you can’t eat that. Put the spat down. And stop gnawing on the ginger.”
Olivia didn’t even have to look–she was sure Sean had already turned the kitchen into a total mess.

After their midnight snack, Grace headed inside to sleep, while Sean scampered off into the night to hunt for wild mushrooms. Olivia perched on a stool, prepping the medicine she’d need for tomorrow.
The courtyard was wrapped in silence. The moon hung high, spilling silver light that dappled the shadows and made the night feel even colder.

Olivia thought, ‘Who could that guy be? Sureb, /bI have made plenty of enemies these past few years with my bossy ways, but back then, I was only four. What kind of enemies could a little kid even have? Looks like this has something to do with my family.”

Aftering to that conclusion, Olivia found curious about her origins.
Olivia had pulled an all–nighter, bing through every scrap her contacts at the Shadow Syndicate had unearthed about her past–yet she still came up empty.
Word from the Enigma Institute was that some mysterious force kept blocking their probe; someone out there is hell–bent on making sure Olivia never learns where she came from. That only made Olivia more certain her hunch was right.
Olivia lowered her eyes, idly fiddling with the pendant. She couldn’t help but feel like it was warmer
than before.
After breakfast, Olivia jumped in her car and headed straight to the hospital where Juliet was staying.
Before she went in to operate on Juliet, Olivia wanted to visit her in her room–not as the Phantom Healer, but as Olivia.
Juliet’s room was on the oncology floor, so Olivia took the elevator up to the 21st floor. She’d told Lucas to keep things low–key. As soon as she stepped out of the elevator, she ran right into a woman,
