Cheryl’s face turned pale with fear. She was desperate to distance herself from Olivia, not wanting anyone to know that she had once been the Sherman family’s adopted daughter.

Who on earth exposed Olivia’s identity?‘ Cheryl wondered.

The speaker was none other than Simon, the heir of the Evans family.

Simon looked at Olivia and sneered. “It seems that even nobodies can now attend the Shea family’s parties.”

Then, Simon nced at Lucas and Mitchell, his disdain almost dripping off him.

Simon let out a cold snort. “Has the Grant family sunk so low that they consort with a fake like her?”

“Out of the kindness of my heart, considering we all grew up together, I’m warning you two to stay away from this imposter. Be careful not to be ruined by her,” Simon red at Olivia viciously.

“In order to cling to her status as the Sherman family’s heiress, she tampered with Cheryl’s DNA. And you dare to associate with such a venomous woman?” he added.

Cheryl’s fists clenched tightly, and beads of sweat formed on her forehead.

Olivia had never tampered with her DNA. It was Cheryl herself who had done it, in order to frame Olivia and drive her out of the Sherman residence.

Cheryl wanted to ensure that she was the only heiress of the Sherman family.

Later, to gain Simon’s sympathy, Cheryl had exaggerated a lot. As a result, Simon came to

    hate Olivia.

Cheryl hadn’t expected this fool to blurt it all out.

Henry was unaware of these details. He frowned slightly and stared at Cheryl. “What’s going on here? Didn’t your parents say she was a poor student they were sponsoring? How did she be the Sherman family’s adopted daughter?”

Cheryl hung her head low, her voice filled with grievance. “Actually-”

“Actually, what?” Henry was somewhat displeased and questioned Cheryl. “Are you saying your parents lied to me?”

Cheryl’s mind raced, and she quickly came up with an exnation.

“My parents did adopt her for a while, but her behavior was so bad that they decided to give

    her up.

“But my mother, being kind–hearted, felt sorry for the poor girl and decided to sponsor her education.” Cheryl’s fingertips twisted the corner of her dress involuntarily, and her nose twitched slightly.

“Grandpa Henry, don’t be angry. It’s my fault. I should have told you sooner,” she added.

Cheryl even began to sob slightly; her act of ying the victim was very convincing.

Henry’s heart softened a bit, and he no longer scolded her harshly. He put his arm around her shoulders andforted her softly. “Alright, I’m not ming you. Now that I knowi, /iit’s fine.”

Cheryl gradually stopped crying after getting away with it.

Now things wereplicated. With Simon exposing her connection to Olivia, she was bound to have ia /ilot of trouble in the future.

‘Hopefully, Simon will make things difficult for Olivia, so she’ll know when to quit and stay away,’ Cheryl thought.

Mitchell, who was always quick to react and couldn’t stand Simon’s arrogant attitude, was even more intolerant now that Simon had insulted Olivia. Rolling up his sleeves, Mitchell was about to go and punch him.

“Simon, you son of bitch, I can’t stand your shameless doing,” Mitchell passionately spoke out. “I make friends based on character, not background. Whoever she is, I’m making friends with

    her.”

“What about the Sherman family? The Evans family? I don’t care about any of them,” Mitchell added.

Simon looked bewildered and let out a coldugh. “Mitchell, have you gone mad? You’re rushing to befriend a girl who was kicked out by the Sherman family?”

The Sherman family had expelled the fake heiress.

At that, the people present were stunned for a moment.

They had never heard of the Sherman family having an adopted daughter.
