The Evans family’s demand to be the Sheas‘ only doctors and medical partner was audacious. Given the Shea family’s dominance across Clusia, securing such a position would be an unparalleled achievement.

Winston frowned, thinking hard about whether this would even work.

He thought, ‘Andrew already picked his own doc, and it has to be that girl. Even Jenny–she’s only willing to be treated by her. Those two are as stubborn as mules when they make up their minds.

‘However, the Evans family has Revival Grass.

At that moment, Winston was really stuck.

Vivian also fell into contemtion. From the perspective of the Shea family group’s long–term development, it was absolutely impossible to cooperate with the Evans family.

But the stuff that could save her brother and sister was right in their hands.

After thinking it over, Winston finally said, “I’ll have to check with my grandson. That kid always does whatever he wants–if he says no, I can’t force him.”

Naturally, Henry had no objections. He simply did not believe that Andrew could possibly refuse.

Once they epted the herb, Henry figured he’d cook up another n–get the Sheas to release Simon and take care of that cocky girl for good.

Then the Evans family could walk tall wherever they went–not just in Hirica, but even in Kingtonelle.

Winston right away sent someone to grab Andrew for his thoughts.

Truth was, Winston didn’t want to agree at all. If they gave in now, who knew what the Evanses would demand next? He didn’t want his family cornered.

Olivia wasn’t in any rush to call out the Evans family–she was curious what Andrew would do when it came down to his own life.

Soon, a servant brought over a little slip of paper.

Winston read the note and let out a snort ofughter. Just like he expected.

“Mr. Evans, thank you for your kindness. This Revival Grass is indeed rare. But my grandson is unpredictable,” Winston said, stroking his beard. “He says no.”

Andrew’s answer was simple: only that one girl could treat him. He didn’t care what the Evanses had–no amount of herbs would change his mind. The Shea family had enough money anyway.

“Mr. Shea, please. This is the Revival Grass–there’s only one in the entire world.” Henry could hardly believe his ears. “People would kill for this stuff–literally!”

Vivian looked troubled too, and whispered in Winston’s ear, “Grandpa, this herb is crazy rare–you can’t just let Andrew be stubborn. Even if he doesn’t need it, Jenny sure does.”

But Winston wasn’t about to change his mind. He hated being questioned, and once he made up his mind, that was that. “I said no.”

Henry was floored. He figured handing over the Revival Grass would have the Sheas singing his praises. He never thought they’d actually turn him down.

Cheryl was just as shocked. She’d risked everything to sneak that Revival Grass out of the orphanage–no way she thought the Sheas would turn it down.

Getting turned down in front of everyone stung like hell for Henry.

Cheryl leaned over and whispered, “Grandpa Henry, this is the only real Revival Grass out there. If the Sheas don’t want it, plenty of people will.”

This remark reminded Henry. She was right–even if the Sheas passed, others would dly snatch it up.

He quickly straightened up and said, “Guess it’s just not meant to be for the Shea family. If you don’t want it, we’ll keep it in the Evans family.

“We’re the top medical family in Hirica too–sooner orter, this thing wille in handy for someone.”

As soon as he said that, everyone stopped looking down on the Evanses.

They thought, ‘Well, that is Revival Grass. Even if the Sheas don’t want it, it’ll never go to waste.

‘If word gets to the Shadow Syndicate, maybe they’ll even lift the ban on the Evans family. Having this thing is like a get–out–of–jail–free card.’

The Evans‘ reputation was about to make aeback when Olivia stretched and smirked, “Showing off with a fake Revival Grass? Give me a break.”

Natalie couldn’t stand Olivia anymore. Olivia was constantly creating obstacles for the Evans family.

“Olivia, do you just not want the Evans family to seed?” Natalie was practically shooting daggers from her eyes. Olivia was ruining their lucky streak–again.

Cheryl also red at Olivia with jealousy and resentment and thought, ‘What right does she have to say it’s fake? If the Evans family finds out the herb is fake, they’lle for me first. I’ll be dead!‘

Cheryl yed innocent, all big doe eyes. “Don’t me Olivia. She means well. Ever since she got kicked out of her family, she hasn’t been herself–sometimes she just talks crazy.”

Natalie frowned. “Cheryl, you’re way too nice! That’s why she always pushes you around. You found the herb. Go on, tell everyone.”

Cheryl hadn’t expected to be put on the spot and got flustered, but replied anyway, “Yeah, I just came across the Revival Grass by luck. I gave it to Mr. Evans so it wouldn’t go to waste.

“She’s saying it’s fake just because she doesn’t like me,” Cheryl said, looking like she was about to cry. “It’s not anyone else’s fault–if you want to me someone, me me.”

“Cheryl, don’t always take responsibility upon yourself,” Natalie said, frowning. “It’s obvious she’s just making trouble for no reason and talking nonsense here.”

“Natalie, I taught you to keep your cool,” Henry said calmly. “If you argue back over everything, someone will start thinking there’s something fishy about our Revival Grass.”

He deliberately emphasized the word “someone” with eyes fixed intently on Olivia. No one missed the point -he meant her.

Olivia’s eyes shed with sarcasm. “Cheryl, drop the act. Want me to tell everyone where this herb actually came from?”

Lucas piped up, “Yeah, fake herb, by the way.”

Cheryl felt a bit guilty, lowering her head and not daring to look at Olivia.

“You just won’t admit you’re wrong till you see proof with your own eyes,” Natalie fumed. “You’re saying our herb is fake? Got any proof? Bring it out!”

Olivia debated for a second about outing herself as the Phantom Healer–she grew this thing herself, after all,

    so she knew the truth.

“Proof? You bet,” Olivia said, propping her chin on her hand. “The reason Revival Grass is so rare is all about

    the root.

“The real deal has a blue root–not green. That’s what makes it special.” With that, she pulled the herb out of the box and held it up for everyone to see. “But this fake right here? The root’s red.”
