Olivia: [If you can’t get it done, you know there will be consequencesb./bb] /b

Lucas rubbed his forehead. “Please, just give me a break.”

However, the next second, he took the job.

Sean was still running around the yard.

Grace said earnestly, “Olivia, as a doctor, you must never forget your true purpose. We are thest hope for patients. If we are blinded by money, what will happen to them? Remember, life is always more important than money.”

Sean leaned closer to Olivia, signaling with a hand gesture that he didn’t get what Grace was saying.

Olivia gently tapped his forehead and said, “A famous doctor once told his students that life is precious, and as a doctor, one needs to stick to his principles.”

Grace nodded approvingly and said, “Exactly. The Evans family has long discarded these principles.”

“I will not be like them,” Olivia said with a soft smile, her

resolute.

Grace smiled, lightly tapping her nose. “I know you won’t. You’re my best student.”

As the night deepened, Olivia got a message from Lucas with a video file.

Lucas said on the phone, “Olivia, I found it. I almost got caught. You owe me a reward. What’s weird is that the original IP for the surveince footage is in Kingtonelle, not Hirica.”

Olivia frowned, tapping her fingers on the table. She thought, ‘Why is the IP address for the Hirica orphanage’s surveince in Kingtonelle? Could the person who framed Grandma Grace be in Kingtonelle?‘

Olivia smiled slightly. It seemed she would have to hurry up and head to Kingtonelle.

She clicked on the strange video and watched it three times from start to finish. There was nothing unusual in the footage, just a well in the orphanage’s courtyard.

The “Grace” in the video appearedpletely normal. Her clothing, movements, and even her expression were identical to the real Graceb. /bHowever, the more she resembled her, the weirder it became.

Lucas felt a chill as he watched the video, an odd sense of fear creeping over him. Everything looked fine, but there was something unsettling, so he quickly sent it to Olivia.

He said, “Olivia, if it wasn’t Ms. Lane, could it be… a ghost?b” /b

Olivia was speechless. “Please, we’re in the 21st century.”

b“/bbIt’s /bstill possible,” Lucas suddenly said, a shiver running down his spine. “Do you think Ms. Lane could have been possessed?”

bLucas/bb, /bwho usually enjoyed horror movies, had a vivid imagination. After watching the video, his mind ran wild, scaring himself in the process.

“No, I can’t talk to you anymore. The more I bsay/b, the more scared I get. I won’t be able to sleep tonight.” With that, he hung olliup. /li/ol

“How ridiculous,” Olivia muttered under her breath.

Clearly, someone was scheming behind the scenes, but Lucas went on about ghosts and spooked himself.

Besides, even if ghosts existed, Olivia wouldn’t be scared.

Suddenly, Olivia noticed something off. Zooming in, she saw a dark figure in the corner. It looked like a man, but his face wasn’t clear.

Sean pointed at it, equally shocked.

A man shouldn’t be in an orphanage full of women and children.

“I saw it,” Olivia said calmly, freezing the frame and uploading it to a professional site to enhance the quality.

Soon, the image became much clearer. It was a handsome man in a ck coat and top hat. Olivia searched her mind for a while, realizing she didn’t recognize him.

Sean tapped her and murmured, “Kingtonelle.” He was indicating the man was from Kingtonelle.

Olivia paid close attention to his clothes after the hint.

Sean was right. That top hat was only sold at Veloria Clothing in Kingtonelle, exclusively to locals, and only ten existed. This man wasn’t ordinary.

“Looks like we need to head to Kingtonelle,” Olivia said, ncing at Sean. “And once we go there, you really have to start school.”

Sean was clearly dissatisfied, making a rejecting gesture at Olivia. “Aren’t you supposed to teach me?”

“I’m too busy to teach you.” Olivia snapped her fingers. “Besides, a kid your age should be in school. Staying home all day alone isn’t healthy.”

Sean really didn’t want to go to school. All he wanted was to stay home.

“If you refuse school again, the child protection people wille talk to me.” Olivia frowned. “We’ll deal with it after we go to Kingtonelle. For now, enjoy yourst taste of freedom. And don’t forget to take care of that stuff.”

After saying that, Olivia headed inside to sleep.

Sean’s eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief.

Andrew, who was at the Orion Hotel, hadn’t slept yet. They had already located the hacker’s IP address and were now tracking it.

Soon, they locked onto the location. Ethan excitedly grabbed the iPad and said, “Mr. Shea, we found it.”

“Show me.” Andrew waved. He was very interested in this hacker, which was why he had been waiting.

“Wait, what?” Ethan froze. The code on the screen dissipated, finally exploding into a burst of fireworks. “Why did the IP disappear? It was just in Hirica a moment ago.”

Andrew paused, then said, “Whatever.”

Only then did he realize they had long been discovered and had been yed with. Going further would just make them look foolish.

Ethan could only give up. He had messed up again, and another deduction would make his sry negative.

Olivia had gone to bedtest night and slept until noon. As soon as she woke up, she received an invitation from Samuel, asking her to check on him.

Samuel said, “Olivia, I’m feeling unwell again. Do you have time to check on me?”

Olivia had no reason to refuse. She had treated Samuel before. Yet, she hadn’t expected the Summers family to put on such

a scene.

She packed her medical kit, and the moment she stepped outside, the noise hit her. People filled the alley entrance, murmuring and gossiping.

Olivia grabbed La and asked, “What’s going on?”

La was overjoyed, leaning close to Olivia. “It’s been ages. Thest time I saw you, I think it was-”

“What is happening up ahead?” Olivia cut her off, going straight to the point. She was in a hurry to get to the Shea Manor.
