“A luxury car is parked ahead, worth over 300 million dors. It must be some rich guy visiting.” La sounded jealous. “We’ve never seen such an expensive car. I think it’s a Mayb-”
Olivia smiled. “Maybach.”
La said, “Right, that’s it. Not sure who they’re here for.”
Olivia nodded, not paying much attention. She instinctively felt it had nothing to do with her.
Just as Olivia stepped around the crowd to get to her bike, someone blocked her path.
“Hi, Dr. Summers.” It was David. He rushed toward Olivia. “I finally found you.”
“David, what are you doing here?” Olivia nced at him.
David scratched his head. “Mr. Summers instructed me to pick you up. You’re our honored guest.”
Olivia said coldly, “Don’t bother. I can get there myself.”
“It’s too cold. You’ll catch a cold riding your bike.” David gestured politely. “Dr. Summers, this way.”
With all eyes on her in surprise, Olivia got into the car.
David looked like he wanted to say something, but held back.
Olivia noticed his odd behavior and said, “David, just say it. I prefer honesty.”
David’s fingers tightened on the wheel. He slowed the car, ncing at Olivia in the back seat, his voice trembling. “You might meet someone soon. I think I should tell you in advanceb./bb” /b
Seeing him hold back, Olivia felt annoyed. “Who is it?”
David lowered his voice and said, “Ms. ine Summers is here. She isn’t well and gets nervous around strangers. She’s the Summers family’s adopted daughter, cherished by Mr. Summers. You mustn’t offend her.”
“Mr. Summers?” Olivia frowned slightly. “Do you mean Samuel?”
David shook his head. “No, I’m talking about his son, Elliot Summers.”
Olivia nodded slightly. Thest time she saw Samuel, she could tell he loved his granddaughter dearly. She was surprised the family would adopt another girl.
Olivia said calmly, “Wasn’t the girl missing? Where did this youngdye from? Do wealthy families also like to find substitutesb?/bb” /b
David sighed. “No, she doesn’t actually resemble Ms. Summers. After Ms. Summers went missing, Mr. Elliot Summers was very upset. About half a monthter, he brought a girl home, saying she reminded him of Ms. Summers, and adopted her.
“Mr. Samuel Summers argued bitterly with him over this, and even Mrs. Summers also-b” /b
He shook his head in resignation, not sure whether he should continue.
Olivia sneered. “Interesting. He was only sad for a few days over his lost daughter, then immediately brought a fake one home, huh? Does he think that will console him? Instead of looking for his real daughter, he puts on a show. It’s ridiculous.”

Olivia thought that if she were the missing girl, she would never return.
David immediately said, “Be careful with your words. After all, he is-”
Although he didn’t understand Elliot’s actions either, he felt it best not toment further.

David said seriously, “By the way, Ms. Emily Monroe is also here. She’s Ms. ine Summers’s cousin, and they’ve been close since childhood.”
Olivia realized he was cautioning her not to upset either of them. She nodded. “Got it.”
She truly had no patience for wealthy family drama.
Just as they arrived at the nursing home, a few people came into view. The shorter girl was dressed in designer clothes, with wless skin, beautiful hair, and sparkling eyes–she looked adorable.
A distinguished woman followed her, holding a coat, her voice full of concern. “Ms. Emily Monroe, put this on. You’re not in good health and can’t catch a cold.”
“No,” Emily said irritably, pushing the coat away.
The other girl smiled softly and draped the coat over Emily’s shoulders, saying gently, “If you fall ill, I’d surely be med for not taking good care of you.”
It was ine. She had long curly hair down to her waist and wore a dark red custom suit that showed off her curves. Her eyes were soft, with a touch of charm.
Her voice was soft, making people instinctively lower their tone when speaking to her.
The two girls were of contrasting styles–one full of charm, the other delicate and soft. Compared to them, Olivia seemed overly in, exuding a distant aura from head to toe.
David didn’t expect to see ine and Emily here. He sighed and greeted them with a smile. “Hi, Ms. ine Summers, Ms. Emily Monroe.”
They nodded slightly in response.
They were so beautiful that everyone nearby looked at them. People in Hirica had never seen girls with such elegance.
A man in a suit passing by stepped forward to speak to Emily. “May I know your name?”
Emily sized him up and saw he looked rich. She smiled softly. “Just call me Ms. Monroe.”
Wealth didn’t impress her. In her eyes, he only earned the right to know her surname.
The man froze. “Are you from the Monroe family of Kingtonelle?” His voice trembled. He realized he had almost offended someone he shouldn’t have.
bHis /bvoice was loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.
“The Monroe family? Never heard of them.”
“Seriously? The most famous one in the country is the Monroe family of Kingtonelle.”
“No wonder she seems different. She’s the heiress of the Monroe family.”

Admiring murmurs washed over Emily, and she smiled faintly, used to being admired.
Since she was little, her jewelry, bags, and even essories have been incredibly valuable.
Someone asked, “What about the other girl?”
“No idea. Could she be from the Summers family?”
“No way. The Summers family only has boys, no girls.”
“Shut up. They have a girl, but she should be adopted.”
“Then she doesn’t count.”
