The speaker’s mouth was covered by herpanion.

“Watch your mouth. They dote on ine. Even if their daughter came back, she wouldn’t be as favored,” herpanion
warned.
Hearing this, ine felt a bit morefortable.
‘It doesn’t matter whether I’m their biological child or not. As long as I’m favored, I’m the Summers family’s treasure, ine thought to herself.
Among the onlookers were no shortage of wealthy individuals, but they had never seen such extravagantly rich people.
For these folks, making a few hundred thousand dors a year was the peak, yet the bags the two girls bwere /bcarrying started at a million dors each. Clearly, this indicated they were incredibly wealthy.
ine spoke up. “David, could you please disperse the crowd? There’s no show here, and we don’t need so many spectators.”
David nodded and had the security personnel maintain order.
The woman apanying Emily said, “Ms. Monroe, you haven’t eaten yet. What would you like? I’ll get it ready.”
Emily frowned slightly but still replied politely, “Kiki, you don’t have to go out of your way to take care of me. If I’m hungry, I’ll eat.”
“That’s not an option. Your health is fragile; you need to have your three meals a day on time. It’s my job to ensure that,” Kiki Carter said, almost pleading with Emily. “Why not eat something? What if you faint from low blood sugar?”
ine chimed in, “Emily, be good and listen to Kiki.”
Emily sighed in resignation and nodded. “Alright, just make something quick.”
Olivia, propping her chin up with her hand, seemed to have figured it out.
ine was the adopted daughter of the Summers family that David had mentioned.
Emily was Edward’s sister, the heiress of the Monroe family.
But Olivia thought Edward and Emily didn’t look alike.
As Olivia was pondering this, there was ba /bsudden thud, and Emily copsed straight down.
Not far away, David saw this and nearly lost his soul in fright.
This was the precious gem of the Monroe family, raised with utmost care.
“Hurry up and get a doctor,” Kiki said, holding Emily and frantic.
But it was mealtime, and all the doctors were on their lunch break.
David was in a dilemma when he suddenly had an idea. ‘Wait a minute. I brought a doctor with me,‘ he thought.

Then, David sprinted over to Olivia. “Dr. Summers, please save Ms. Monroe.”
Olivia nodded. Saving lives was a doctor’s duty.

As Olivia squatted down to check on Emily, she was forcefully pushed away by Kiki. “Who are you? How dare you touch Ms. Monroe?” Kiki scolded furiously.
Fortunately, Olivia was squatting firmly and only got pushed back a bit without taking any serious fall or injury..
Olivia understood the maid’s concern for Emily. After all, Emily was a noble youngdy.
Olivia patiently exined, “I’m a doctor. I’m here to help her.”
David frowned. “Kiki, Dr. Summers is a distinguished guest invited by Mr. Summers. You’d better show some respect.”
David had asked Olivia for help for Emily’s sake, but he didn’t expect Kiki to be so ungrateful.
Olivia remained squatting, her expression indifferent. She was wearing a ck jacket that day. With her legs bent and her hair tied up, she looked somewhat gloomy.
Kiki nced at her and felt uneasy. She had never liked such an aggressive–looking appearance; it made her ufortable.
Kiki was still reluctant. “How old is she? Does she even have a medical license? Ms. Monroe is very delicate. What bif /bshe messes up her treatment? Whose responsibility would it be?”
David leaned in, his expression turning cold. “Dr. Summers has even cured Mr. Summers. What? Is Ms. Monroe so high and mighty that Dr. Summers isn’t qualified to examine her?”
David had never particrly liked Kiki, who was always overly anxious about Emily.
Maybe in Kiki’s mind, Emily was more precious than the president’s daughter.
ine noticed the displeasure in David’s words and leaned over to whisper in Kiki’s ear. “Kiki, stop being picky. At ia /itime like this, Emily’s health is what matters.”
Only then did Kiki change her attitude, though her expression was stillplicated. “Miss, go ahead,” she said, her tone still grudging and her dislike for Olivia unmistakable.
Kiki didn’t believe for a second that this woman had cured Samuel. ‘She’s so young. How skilled could her medical practice be? She must have used some trick to coincidentally bring Mr. Summers back to health, she thought to herself.
But given the current situation, Kiki had no choice but to let Olivia give it a try.
If Olivia truly cured Emily, Kiki would be more than happy.
On the flip side, if Olivia failed, Kiki wouldn’t let her off the hook easily.
Olivia could sense Kiki’s aversion but didn’t say much, proceeding to examine Emily.
“Is she afraid of the cold, with cold limbs and light sleep?” Olivia’s voice was deep and cool, with a faint sense of detachment lingering in it.
Kiki’s expression flickered, thinking to herself, ‘She’s hit the nail on the head.
“Yes, you’re right.” ine nodded slightly.

“Her body is weak, monly manifested by sore limbs, dullplexion, and frequent bloatingi,/ii” /iOlivia said, taking out a short needle and pricking it into a point on Emily’s wrist.
Her voice remained t. “Usually, pay more attention to her diet. She should eat warm foods and avoid cold, raw, and seafood that are cooling in nature. She needs to increase her heat intake through food. She can eat some beef, mutton, and chicken.”
“Also, have her take this soup daily. Here’s the recipe. ording to the recipe, steep it for i5 /ito 7 minutes and then have her drink it.” Olivia’s eyes flickered slightly as she finished the acupuncture treatment.
“If you keep this up, you’ll see results in two to three months.” With that, Olivia put the needles away.
Seeing that Emily still hadn’t woken up, Kiki became annoyed, convinced that Olivia was a fraud and that everything she had said was a lie.
“I knew you were a fraud. Why isn’t Ms. Monroe waking up?” Kiki demanded.
David pulled Olivia up, shielding her behind him and frowning. “Kiki, you have to give it some time, right? No one gets cured the moment they’re treated.”
David had unwavering faith in Olivia’s medical skills. He believed she could definitely cure Emily.
“David, I only listened to you and gave her a chance, but look at this,” Kiki said, holding Emily in her arms and noticing her shivering.
“Where on earth did you find this wild girl and just let her treat Ms. Monroe? Now look what’s happened,” she added. “David, if anything happens to Ms. Monroe, I’ll never let you off the hook.”
ine chimed in, “David, where did you find this person? How could you just let anyone treat Emily?”
David, usually amiable, furrowed his brows now, not understanding what they were so worried about.
“The blood flow in her body is slow. I just stimted her acupoints. It takes time for it to start flowing again,” Olivia exined.
