Ansel could never have imagined that the person he looked down upon was, in fact, a principal department- level official.
“How can you, as a young colleague, speak in such a manner?” Stanley was flushed with anger. Despite his many years working in the office, he had never encountered anyone who dared to challenge him so directly.
“You old bastard.” Ansel, already in a foul mood after being beaten, grew even more furious. “If you mess with me again, I’ll grab you too.”
Victor watched for a long time, his brows remaining furrowed throughout. He thought, ‘Whose subordinate is this guy, anyway? He talks so rudely and even has a bit of a bandit vibe.
‘It should be noted that personnel of public security agencies would not dare to speak to the public in such a manner. Serving the people is not intended to permit anyone to oppress them!’
“Who is your superior?” Victor raised his voice. “Who authorized you to enforce thew in this manner?”
“None of your damn business, pretty boy.” Ansel hadpletely stopped caring and was acting recklessly, showing hostility to everyone. “I’m only after Olivia. If you keep interfering, you’re obstructingw enforcement.”
As he lunged forward to restrain Olivia, a stone flew through the air, striking him squarely on the knee. He copsed to the ground with a grimace, his face contorted in pain.
“Sorry, my hand slipped.” Olivia gave him a gentle smile.
Ansel gritted his teeth, took out his phone, and called for backup. “I need support. There are people at 66 Willow Lane. There has been a murder.”
Immediately afterward, he ran out. His phone callpletely blew the matter up.
Stanley let out a derisiveugh. “Fine. We’re not afraid of them.”
‘I’ve never seen anyone like this before. Let me see whose subordinate this worm really is,’ he thought.
Victor lowered his gaze and quickly realized something was wrong. “Something’s wrong,” he said.
“There is certainly a problem.” Only now did Olivia notice Victor and scrutinize him carefully. “There is definitely someone orchestrating this from behind the scenes.”
Olivia had met many people, and at a nceb, /bshe could tell that Victor was extraordinary. Moreover, he was brought here by Stanley.
Stanley then remembered and asked Olivia, “Olivia, why did you call me here?”

“Mr. Saunders, do you know Marcus?” Olivia showed Stanley a photo of J. “His daughter attends Hirical High School and is leading acts of campus bullying. Aren’t you going to do something about it?”
“We must handle this. Absolutely.” Stanley examined J’s photo carefully, utterly confused. “I really don’t know this girl, and Marcus, I don’t think I’ve ever heard that name before.”
Stanley holds a high position; he did not know some of the grassroots–level junior cadres.
“I’ll call and ask.” Before Stanley could make the call, a group of people rushed into the courtyard.
The group of people brought by Ansel were all junior officers from local precincts. They had never met Stanley, and even less did they know Victor, who was about to assume office.
Olivia asked Nina to stay and apany Grace.
The others were all led by that group. Going to the police station was also something Fiona had nned in advance.
Marcus had a connection. Paul, the chief of the northern district sub–bureau, was his fellow disciple. Because of this rtionship, Paul would naturally do Fiona a favor.
Stanley was so infuriated that his hair nearly stood on end. “How can you enforce thew in this manner?” The people who arrived disregarded what he said and took him away immediately. fnab61 ?????? ???? Find1Novel/fnab61
