Donald wasn’t stupid. When he saw so many vigers being hauled off by the cops, he knew there was no way to keep this under wraps anymore. His only shot at survival was toe clean and confess everything.
He said, “Fine, I’ll talk. I’ll tell you everything, I swear.”
“Where’s the girl you guys trafficked from Kingtonelle fifteen years ago?” Edward demanded, his voice edged with anger.
Donald was no fool–he could tell they were here to pin everything on him, so he tried to y it safe and dodge the real answer.
He put on his innocent face and said, “Gentlemen, look, in our line of work, we move a lot of kids every year. How am I supposed to remember each one?
“But don’t worry–we always pick the best families. Those kids? They’re not suffering. If anything, they’re living better than ever.”
Just then, a man’s angry shout came from outside, demanding, “You call ripping someone’s precious child away from their family a better lifeb? /bThat’s just cruel.”
Charles had rushed over just in time. Hearing Donald’s words, he couldn’t hold back his fury any longer. He stood in the doorway, his face stormy with anger, eyes fixed on Donald.
“I am telling the truth. Why won’t you guys believe me?” Donald protested, his voice cracking with desperation.
Charles’s gaze grew even icier. He sneered, “Is that so? Then let’s see how you like the feeling of being torn away from your kid.” With that, he pped his handsb.. /b
The next second, David hauled Bobby in, stuffed a towel in his mouth, and dumped him roughly onto

Richard’s panic shot through the roof–he could practically feel the murderous intent radiating off Charles. He snapped, “bDonald/b, if you don’t start telling the truth, none of your family will make it out.

Charles’s eyes bwere /bcold and murderous, staring at Donald like he was looking at a pile of rotten meat. He snapped, “You’re in no position to bargain with me.”
Then he pulled on a pair of ck gloves, snatched a knife from Andrew, and jabbed the de right at Donald’s eye. He stopped just a centimeter from Donald’s pupil.
Charles had zero patience for this whole father–son drama–he only cared about one thing: where was Ivy? He demanded, “Spit it out–where did you send those kids you snatched from Kingtonelle?”
“Kingtonelle? We never went to Kingtonelle. There’s no way we snatched anyone from there,” Donald stammered, his heart pounding so hard he could barely think straight.
He thought, ‘Kids from Kingtonelle alle from powerful families–even a fool wouldn’t darey a finger on them. Offend just one of those people, and I would be dead before I know it.”
Charles and Edward locked eyes, both frowning deeply, worry etched across their faces. missing in Kingtonelle–there was no way they could be mistaken about that.

When they heard Donald im he’d never even set foot in Kingtonelle, they didn’t believe it.
Edward’s eyes were red with rage as he pressed a gun to Bobby’s head. He snapped, “You still won’te clean, huh? If I can’t find the person I’m after, your son’sing down with you.”
Donald said, “I’m telling the truth. Kingtonelle’s full of big shots–we’d never dare touch anyone from there. We only dare to snatch kids from small cities and poor areas.” His voice was shaking with panic as he begged Edward not to kill Bobby.
