CHAPTER 63: CHAPTER 62 : SECRETS IN STAT SCREENS (2)
The twins looked at each other, then at Hana, as if asking for permission. Hana gave them a small nod, her lips tight.
Soo-min was the first to stretch her small hand toward the center of the table. Jin-ha followed almost at the same time.

For a moment, no one spoke.
The light from the stat screens hovered in the air like an exposed nerve, the words Split Body glowing brighter than the rest.
Ye-Rin was the first to react. Her chair screeched as she stood, leaning both palms against the table, her voice half a shout, half disbelief.
"You’re kidding me, right?! Are you saying that these twins are not twins but one person splinted into two?"
"Cloning" In-ji paused then continued, "No... no, this doesn’t make sense. Even if it is cloning, their personalities shouldn’t be so different."
Hana finally spoke, her voice trembling. "That can’t be right. I’ve known them since they were babies. They lived next door their whole lives. They’ve always been... twins."
Soo-min flinched at her words. She lowered her head and whispered, "We’re not lying...". "We didn’t know either." Jin-ha’s eyes meet Hana.
Hyun-tae, arms crossed, he let out a humorless laugh. "You people get surprised too easily. I’ve seen men turn into monsters , women that can jump high, corpses walking with smiles. But this?" He tilted his head. "Two bodies, one soul? Immortality through duplication? It’s not the weirdest thing we’ve faced."
"You know Hyun-tae." Boom-Boom, who has been quite this all time spoke, "This is the first time I have heard something logically coming from you. But you missed the part where a shotgun can talk exist."
That earned him a glare from Ye-Rin. "They’re not an oddity to collect stories about, Hyun-tae! They’re kids! If you can’t see how terrifying this is—"
"But the system doesn’t lie. It doesn’t make mistakes like this."Even as I said it, part of me wished I could believe otherwise. Then I let out the breadth, "Well, We suppose we can’t trust on the system wording too much."
Mother, calm as always, finally spoke, her tone steady, collected. "Whether they are twins or one child split into two... what matters is they are alive. And sitting here, in front of us, as part of this group. That has not changed."
Seo-yeon leaned back in her chair, exhaling slowly. "Immortal... if what the nature says is true, then unless both of them are killed at the same time, they can’t die." She rubbed her temples.
Ye-Rin looked between them, her expression wavering between disbelief and a strange fascination. "So... as long as one of you lives, the other comes back?"
Jin-ha gave a small nod. Soo-min pressed closer to Hana, as if afraid everyone was about to stand up and push them out.
In-ji scowled. "That doesn’t make them invincible. They’re still kids."
Mother’s voice cut through the rising storm like a blade of calm. "Enough."
The word was soft, but it carried weight that silenced even Ye-Rin.
Her gaze swept the table, finally settling on the twins. "No matter what this system says, they are still Soo-min and Jin-ha. That hasn’t changed."
But the children looked unconvinced. Soo-min’s lip trembled. "Are we... monsters?"
The question hit harder than any weapon.
"No," Hana said immediately, her voice fierce."No, you’re not monsters. You’re children."
Soo-min buried her face in Hana’s shoulder, tears glistening. Jin-ha’s expression didn’t break, but I saw his small hand clutch Hana’s sleeve tightly.
I leaned forward, my voice quieter. "We accept it. Because if we don’t, the system will tear us apart. And it won’t stop with them."
Eun-ha, who has been quite all this time, clapped her hands together with genuine excitement. "That means I get two best friends forever!" She grinned, completely unaffected by the heavy revelation.
Everyone laughed by her Innocence.
Mother nodded, her composure unshaken. "This meeting was to build trust. And it has done so. Even if the truth is difficult, we are stronger for facing it together."
Seo-yeon gave a knowing glance to Eun-ha, who shifted her gaze as if Seo-yeon could tell this was done intentionally by her part.
I could feel the Owl King’s warning coil in my chest.
"Gather as many strong individuals as you can.Only then will you have a chance to change the fate barreling toward you."
Like that Next two days passed with us doing our best to find survivors, stashing the food and talking with each other.
If this was world before this craziness, we all would have never met but look at us now as we are trying our best to survive and help each other.

[Mission 5 Initiating.]
Just like that we were teleported into the same arena. The same voice rang in our ears that we have come to hate. The voice that is unpleasant non the less.
"Welcome back Peasenats!".
