Ivy Kensington felt her whole body go numb, realizing he must have mistaken her for Dahlia Kensington.

"Not going to speak?"

Sebastian Blackwood’s hand caressed Ivy’s waist, the slender touch was irresistible to him.

Previously, the scent of perfume on her made him nauseous in the bedroom, but now without it, he found it alluring.

Ivy was frozen, and as Sebastian turned her around, she spoke up, "Mr. Blackwood, I’m Ivy Kensington."

With these words, Sebastian’s face suddenly turned cold.

"What are you doing here?"

Ivy helplessly replied, "Pruning the flowers for tomorrow morning."

Sebastian pushed her away from his embrace; he hadn’t realized before, but now he noticed how similar Ivy looked to Dahlia.

And the scent on Ivy was so similar to that night with Dahlia.

Sebastian frowned, "Are you imitating Dahlia?"

Ivy: "..."

Taking a deep breath, Ivy said, "Mr. Blackwood, Dahlia is unique in your heart, just as I am unique in mine, so why should I imitate her?"

Once she said this, Ivy didn’t wait for the man to respond and put down the half-pruned flowers, then returned to the attic.

Sebastian watched her departing figure with deep eyes, feeling something stir in his heart.

Such spirit in a little maid.

The next day.

Dahlia rushed to Ivy as soon as Sebastian left, demanding, "You bitch, what perfume did you use on the wedding night? It left such a lasting impression on Sebastian."

Thinking of this made Dahlia want to smash her teeth; she hated that Ivy had taken her place on the wedding night!

Ivy looked at her, utterly baffled, "Perfume? I never use those."

She didn’t have the extra money to buy such things.

"You dare lie to me?" Dahlia wouldn’t let Ivy off so easily.

At that moment, Justin Rhodes arrived at the Blackwood Villa.

"Ivy, why are you here too?"

Justin was startled to see Ivy.

Dahlia was about to lay hands on Ivy, forcing her to reveal the origin of the perfume, but with Justin’s arrival, she dropped the idea.

She had to be a gentle aunt.

"Little Ze, why are you here?"

Dahlia forced a fake smile onto her face.

As the future heir of the Rhodes family, Justin was used to flattery, and he immediately saw through Dahlia’s fake smile; displeased, he said, "Nothing much, just delivering some documents to my uncle."

Then, he grabbed Ivy’s hand and walked out.

"Justin Rhodes, what do you think you’re doing?"

In the garden, Ivy broke free from Justin’s grip.

No matter what Dahlia did to her, she needed to stay for Ronnie’s sake, and it was impossible for her to leave with Justin.

Justin asked her, "Why are you here?"

Ivy initially didn’t want to say, but she couldn’t resist Justin’s persistent questioning, so she had to confess about Ronnie.

Justin said, "You could have just come to me with this; I’m a Blackwood grandson after all!"

Ivy was taken aback; she hadn’t thought of that option, but... this would mean owing Justin a favor.

"Ivy, as long as you agree to be my girlfriend, I can take you to see Ronnie at the Blackwood family."

Justin spoke without hesitation; he liked Ivy and never hid his pursuit of her. This was such a great opportunity that he didn’t want to let go.

"Here they are."

Justin handed them over, having held onto them the whole time.

These documents were for the latest cooperation project between the Rhodes family and the Blackwood family, critically important, hence why Sebastian had come to collect them personally.

At that moment, his gaze fell on Ivy.

Justin happily announced, "Uncle, I have good news for you; Ivy agreed to be my girlfriend."
