Chapter 603: Running Into Leo Sherman
CHAPTER 603: CHAPTER 603: RUNNING INTO LEO SHERMAN
After speaking these words, Ivy Kensington couldn’t stand it any longer and ran down from the hospital bed.
"If you won’t let me see my child, I can go find him myself..."
As she finished speaking, she hurried out of the hospital room.
She bumped into Owen Rhodes, who was rushing in from outside.
"Miss Kensington, where are you going at this late hour?"
Ivy Kensington ignored him and continued to walk out.
Owen Rhodes sensed something was off and looked up at the man in the room.
Inside the hospital room, only a dim wall lamp was lit, under its light, Sebastian Blackwood’s tall figure leaned against the bed, looking tired and indifferent, with an expression that revealed a trace of exhaustion in his dark, deep eyes.
"Owen, let her go."
If she wants to go find him, then let her go find him.
If she can’t find him, she’ll give up.
"Master Blackwood, this..."
Owen Rhodes wanted to say it wasn’t safe to let Ivy Kensington go out alone in the middle of the night.
But looking at the tired and indifferent demeanor of Sebastian Blackwood, he couldn’t voice his concerns, ultimately nodding his head and agreeing.
He then reported another matter: "Dr. Chi, who specializes in deformation surgeries, has been invited over and can arrive in Veridia within a week. I sent him pictures of the little miss’s deformity, and Dr. Chi said the chance of a successful surgery is quite high."
This means, in terms of appearance, the baby will at least look like a normal person in the future.
Upon hearing this, the tight furrows between Sebastian Blackwood’s brows finally relaxed a bit.
"Alright."
He responded softly, indicating he understood.
Meanwhile.
Ivy Kensington stumbled and made her way out, eyes filled with confusion.
Veridia is so large, how can she find her baby?
Where is her baby now...
"Hey, look, isn’t that another escaped female mental patient from the hospital?"
A few homeless men across the road from the hospital saw Ivy Kensington, a woman walking out alone, and couldn’t resist feeling curious.
This time, the mental patient looked quite pretty.
"Let’s go check it out."
One of them took the lead, and soon four men surrounded Ivy Kensington.
Ivy Kensington’s mind was completely occupied with finding her child, not even noticing this group of people approaching her.
"Step aside."
Noticing her path was blocked, she spoke in a calm tone.
"Little nutcase, coming out of the hospital so late, aren’t you feeling lonely? How about we take you to a fun place?"
These homeless men were regulars squatting in front of the hospital, using this deceiving tone, they had already tricked several mentally disturbed women.
However, Ivy Kensington didn’t fall for their tricks this time.
She chuckled coldly, "Really? I find this place quite fun right now."
Just as well, she was harboring a bit of rage inside, and these people showed up at her door letting her vent.
"That’s not quite right, there are cameras here. If we’re seen, it won’t be fun..."
One of the homeless men spoke sleazily, with caution.
Ivy Kensington said, "Alright, let’s go to a place without cameras."
Upon hearing this, the homeless men exchanged glances and then laughed.
They thought she was a clever mad woman, hard to fool, but she turned out to be this dumb.
"Alright, follow us then."
No one noticed another man’s shadow trailing behind them...
"Little nutcase, there are no cameras here, come on, come play with us!"
After speaking, the homeless men began to undress.
Unexpectedly, Ivy Kensington started to fight, delivering kicks and punches, completely catching them off guard!
"Ah..."
Suddenly, cries of pain echoed throughout!
Within five minutes, Ivy Kensington had settled these malnourished, weak homeless men in a neat manner.
She turned around to see a stranger standing behind her, watching.
Frowning, Ivy Kensington asked, "Are you with them? Fine, let’s go again."
Unexpectedly, the man laughed, his smile stretching like stars across the sky, as he began to speak...
