CHAPTER 9: CHAPTER 9: THE PEACE LOCKET IS STOLEN

Ever since the incident four years ago, she rarely returned to the Kensington Family, but every time she did, Dahlia Kensington would inevitably rummage through her things.

The day she returned home, she sprayed an entire bottle of rose perfume in her room, knowing Dahlia Kensington had a severe allergy to the scent. Surely enough, Dahlia must have entered her room and searched through her stuff again, which led to her entire body breaking out in an allergic reaction, driving her insane with anger.

"It’s too late, I’m not going over."

Ivy Kensington coldly refused, why should she go and be tormented?

Anne Linden said, "You’re not coming back? Then don’t even think about getting your mother’s Peace Locket back!"

Peace Locket?

Ivy froze for a moment and immediately started feeling around her belongings, but came up empty!

"You stole my things?"

"If you want to find out, then get back here immediately!"

Anne Linden hung up the phone right after saying that.

"Those shameless people from the Kensington Family!"

Tiffany Leighton overheard, fuming with anger, she rolled up her sleeves and was about to dash out: "Ivy, I’ll go with you, I want to see what they’re up to!"

"No," Ivy stopped her and smiled, "I’m fine, just stay home and take good care of Ronnie for me."

Ronnie still had one infusion left.

Upon hearing this, Tiffany begrudgingly bit her lip, uttered a curse towards the Kensington Family, and advised, "If they bully you, just call me. I’ll rush over no matter what to back you up!"

Dahlia Kensington covered her face, trembling with rage: "It’s all that bitch Ivy’s fault, how am I supposed to go out now?"

Her face was covered in hives, from a distance, it looked like she had a face full of acne, it was absolutely hideous!

"When she arrives, mom will make sure you get your revenge."

Anne Linden comfortingly patted Dahlia’s head.

Just then, Ivy walked in through the door.

"Someone, seize her for me!"

Anne immediately ordered, and Mrs. Wang, who had been waiting nearby, quickly led others to capture Ivy.

"What do you want to do?"

Ivy struggled a couple of times but couldn’t break free, and instead, was slapped across the face by Anne.

"Bitch, you dared to harm my daughter, are you seeking death?"

Anne was ferocious, Ivy clenched her hands tightly, her face forced to the side, she said, "She went into my room on her own, she deserved it, give me back my mom’s Peace Locket!"

"You want the Peace Locket? Fine, kneel and beg me for it."

Dahlia couldn’t swallow her anger, when had she ever looked so ugly? All thanks to that bitch Ivy!

Ivy stood motionless, her gaze coldly fixed on her.

Dahlia was somewhat frightened by her stare, and involuntarily raised her voice: "Mrs. Wang, turn her head aside."

Upon receiving the order, Mrs. Wang grabbed Ivy’s hair and yanked it hard, cursing, "Miss wants you to do something, then do it, hurry up and kneel!"

Ivy’s face turned pale with pain, but she refused to give in.

As the situation was deadlocked.

Dahlia’s phone suddenly rang, her expression changed, and she quickly answered: "Sebastian, why did you suddenly call me?"

Sebastian Blackwood said something on the other end, and Dahlia looked on the verge of tears.

As soon as the call ended, she indeed threw herself into Anne’s arms, crying: "Mom, what should I do? Sebastian wants me to accompany him to an event tomorrow, but with this horrible look, how can I show my face! If I don’t go, those hussies outside will surely think of ways to seduce Sebastian!"

Anne was momentarily stunned, then her gaze fell on Ivy.

After a second or two, she said, "You’ll go to the event for Dahlia tomorrow."
