One Piece : Glory To The Fleet Admiral
Chapter 323: Kizaru: You Think You Can Match My Speed? You're Still Far From It!
"Join forces with you?"
"You're no longer the Golden Lion who once sought to conquer the world!"
"Step aside!"
Bullett, transformed into his devil form, clearly couldn't accept Shiki interfering in his fight with Orion.
Before Shiki could charge at Orion, Bullett immediately shot forward, taking the lead to rush towards Orion and as he brushed past Shiki, he directly released Armament Haki, sending Shiki flying backward.
Shiki never truly intended to join forces with Bullett; his words were purely meant to provoke Bullett.
Sure enough, the moment Bullett sent him flying, Shiki immediately changed his target and charged straight at Gunko.
"Orion, let's fight!"
Bullett, carrying overwhelming battle intent, swept past Gunko, his pitch-black fists wreathed in the terrifying power of two types of Haki as he slammed them down fiercely toward Orion.
At the same time, while Bullett and Shiki each sought their targets and launched fierce attacks, Pizarro, San Juan, and Vasco Shot no longer stood by idly, locking their sights on Magellan, Gion, and Kujaku.
The chaotic battle thus began.
With a deafening roar that shook the prison, Bullett, having successfully closed in on Orion, didn't dare hold back in the slightest.
Yet even so, despite striking with both fists, despite covering his entire body in Armament Haki, wrapping his fists in Conqueror's Haki, and combining it with Observation Haki, he failed to land a single decisive blow.
Orion, as if having anticipated every trajectory of his attacks, effortlessly blocked them all.
However, this time, Bullett did not retreat but instead halted mid-air the instant his fists were blocked by Orion's raised hands.
The terrifying Conqueror's Haki, unleashed wildly by both, continuously collided, stirring ripples in the void that spread in ever-widening circles, forcibly driving Magellan, Kujaku, and Gion—who stood near Orion—to distance themselves.
Of course, the three were not entirely forced back, especially Magellan and Gion.
The moment Orion intercepted Bullett's attack, they both flashed forward—one unleashing his Venom-Venom Fruit ability to envelop Vasco Shot in a sky-blotting poisonous mist, while the other brandished Kizaru and slashed toward San Juan.
Though Kujaku's strength fell short of the other two, and she was pushed back by the collision of Orion and Bullett's Conqueror's Haki, she still promptly unleashed her unique Paramecia-type Whip-Whip Fruit ability, decisively lashing out with an iron whip to strike Pizarro, the Island-Island Fruit user.
Meanwhile, the battle between Hancock and Catarina Devon was nearing its end.
Faced with Hancock, a master of all three types of Haki, even Catarina Devon—known as the most vicious female criminal in history—had been forced to transform into her nine-tailed fox form multiple times.
However, due to their respective Devil Fruit abilities, Hancock dared not let Catarina Devon touch her easily, for if her body were touched by Catarina Devon, the latter would transform into a copy of her, disrupting the battle.
She was Orion's beloved wife, cherished above all others, and she absolutely would not allow Catarina Devon to become her and cause trouble for Orion.
As the woman of a king, she could afford to be love-struck in ordinary times, but in serious matters, she could not afford to be careless.
As for why Catarina Devon dared not let Hancock touch her, it was because Hancock's Devil Fruit ability was overwhelmingly formidable.
If struck by Hancock's Perfume Femur or affected by her ability, she would instantly turn to stone, becoming a statue.
The battle between Kizaru and Redfield had also reached a fever pitch.
Kizaru, wielding a light sword, pressed forward step by step, chasing Redfield as the battlefield shifted repeatedly.
Though Redfield was constantly pursued and attacked by Kizaru, he always managed to evade Kizaru's strikes at the brink of life and death, effortlessly deflecting every confident attack Kizaru launched.
Kizaru, who had been chasing Redfield across the frozen landscape of Absolute Hell with his light sword, finally grew serious.
Seeing Redfield dodge yet another of his assured strikes, he decisively halted the pursuit, standing atop an iceberg with his light sword in hand, his expression stern as he remarked.
"How terrifying. Even at death's door, you still possess such formidable strength. If you were to escape Impel Down and regain your youth, eliminating you would no longer be an easy task!"
"So, are you willing to give this old man that chance?"
Redfield stood in the snow opposite Kizaru, a golden chain dangling from his mouth as he perpetually wore a sinister smile.
"If not for my body decaying to this state, even if you are a Logia-type Glint-Glint Fruit user with the speed of light, you would stand no chance against me! However, regaining youth is no simple matter. So far, I've only thought of one method: to seek the Mythical Zoan-type Bat-bat Fruit and transform into a vampire."
Kizaru did not find Redfield's immense confidence the least bit inappropriate.
According to the information he possessed, the reason Redfield could rival Roger and Whitebeard back in the day was not because he possessed Conqueror's Haki comparable to Roger's, nor because he was a Devil Fruit user like Whitebeard.
Instead, Redfield possessed an innate Observation Haki that allowed him to see through people's hearts and foresee futures that even many other Observation Haki users couldn't perceive.
It was precisely this extraordinary Observation Haki that enabled Redfield, even with his current decaying body, to hold his own in battle against him without being defeated.
Most importantly, if Redfield were to escape Impel Down, his superior Observation Haki would make it relatively easy for him to locate and seize the Mythical Zoan-type Fruit.
"This is quite troublesome."
"Rather than wasting time on unrealistic thoughts, you should carefully consider your epitaph!"
Kizaru would never give Redfield the chance to find the Mythical Zoan-type Fruit.
If Redfield were to transform into a vampire, he would surely go on a blood-sucking rampage to maintain his youth, causing turmoil in the Grand Line once again.
The Grand Line had become relatively peaceful since Orion's appearance, and he absolutely couldn't allow prisoners from Impel Down to escape and disrupt the current stability.
"An epitaph?"
Redfield smirked sinisterly, his wrinkled, aged face appearing especially ferocious.
"I should indeed give it some thought! After all, not everyone has the honor of being buried in Impel Down!"
Suddenly, Redfield tilted his head slightly, his sinister smile gradually turning maniacal.
"Passing Marines, criminals, and jailers—you should all be grateful I'm buried here! If I were alive, none of you would survive!"
"How about that? Doesn't this epitaph suit my style perfectly?"
Before the words faded, Redfield suddenly vanished in a flash.
When he reappeared, he stood eerily behind Kizaru.
"Got you, you brat!"
As Redfield's voice rang out, a pair of skeletal hands pierced through Kizaru's body.
However, the moment the skeletal hands penetrated him, Kizaru's body dissolved into a burst of light and vanished.
Immediately after, Kizaru's signature lazy voice came from behind Redfield.
"You're still far from matching my speed!"
