One Piece : Kaido Brother
Chapter 145 145
When Beckman and the others arrived while panting heavily, they were completely dumbfounded by the apocalyptic battlefield before them.
Lucky Roux no longer had any appetite for his giant drumstick, staring slack-jawed at the battlefield.
"Did we hit some ghost wall? Did we circle back? Or did I eat too much chicken and got blind?"
Yasopp gulped, gripping his sniper rifle tightly.
"You just jerked off too much."
Beckman was struggling to comprehend the situation.
"Eh? Where's my monkey? Where's my Monster?"
Suddenly, a burly man exclaimed while patting his head, looking around but finding no trace of his monkey.
Lucky Roux blinked twice.
"Should we... get closer?" Lucky Roux hesitated, looking at Beckman.
Beckman snatched the long-barreled flintlock from Yasopp's hands, observing the chaotic battlefield through the scope.
Yasopp panicked, trying to reclaim it while shouting.
"Hey! Beckman! A sniper's rifle is his wife! No one else is allowed to touch it! This will affect my sniping accuracy!"
Beckman kicked him away nonchalantly.
"Just lend your wife for a bit."
Lucky Roux gave Yasopp a sympathetic look, took off his green woolen hat from his own head and placed it on Yasopp's, patting his shoulder.
"Stay strong, brother."
The hat was too big, nearly covering half of Yasopp's body.
After observing for a while, Beckman frowned deeply.
"The situation here isn't good either. Our captain's being chased and beaten by Fleet Admiral Akainu, Hawkeye's being suppressed by a giant Buddha—both completely on the back foot. Shanks seems to have just been injured by Caesar, even Griffin got broken."
As he spoke, Beckman casually tossed the rifle back to Yasopp.
"Done using it, its yours now."
Yasopp looked ashen-faced, trembling as he cradled the rifle.
"Beckman, I'll remember this. Using it and discarding it later—that's how you treat my precious wife."
"So what do we do? Should we... go in?" Lucky Roux was deeply conflicted.
"Unless something unexpected happens, we must go assist. If Shanks can't hold on, the situation will collapse."
Beckman said, frowning at the shattered ice surface before them.
Yet another detour!
On the battlefield, the battle between Garp and Hawkeye had reached its climax.
BOOM!
Garp's punches carried the weight of the world.
Each strike delivered not only immeasurable force but also his bottomless Armament Haki and overwhelming golden shockwaves.
Mihawk's black blade moved faster and faster, almost forming a hurricane.
Gone was his usual composed fighting style—his breathing grew ragged, yet the sharpness about him seemed to intensify with each exchange.
Sssshhhh!
Yoru carved a black spatial rift through the air, slicing open the surface of Garp's fist and drawing a line of blood that stained the golden giant fist crimson.
"Hawkeye! Your end has come!" Garp roared with his mouth wide open, his teeth and tongue gleaming with a golden radiance.
His entire body was forged from gold, identical to Caesar on the other side.
He ignored the bleeding wound on his fist as golden muscles surged like rolling earth dragons.
Every sinew twisted and tensed, unleashing boundless strength as he pressed Mihawk's black blade downward with overwhelming force!
BOOM!
The ice shattered as a golden shockwave pierced straight through Yoru, surging into Mihawk's body.
Crimson blood sprayed from his pores and blood gushed from his orifices—it was a gruesome sight.
Behind them, Akainu had entered a frenzy state.
Several bloody wounds marred his chest, courtesy of Shanks' slashes, yet he seemed fine.
His fists rained down like a storm, launching massive pillars of molten rock that sent Shanks flying repeatedly.
With a roar, he summoned molten hounds—scorching beasts that surged forward like a stampede, crushing everything in their path.
"Magma Hounds! Tear him apart!"
Shanks gritted his teeth, blood trickling from his lips.
"Golden Age!!"
With a swing of his right arm, his overwhelming Conqueror's Haki erupted.
The blazing red Griffin shimmered with golden light as arcs of golden lightning crackled through the air like divine retribution.
The bolts descended, shredding the magma hounds apart.
Shanks brought his sword down, unleashing a colossal golden thunderbolt that crashed toward Akainu like a falling giant tree.
"Haki Infusion or not, my Magma Fruit is the world's strongest offensive power! Anubis Pyre!!"
Akainu charged head-on, his body swelling into a towering dog-headed humanoid form.
A magma halberd materialized in his grasp, smashing against Shanks' golden lightning.
Molten rock erupted like a volcano, overwhelming the golden bolt and surging toward Shanks in a deafening roar.
BOOOOM!!
Shanks coughed up a mouthful of blood, barely managing to reinforce his defense with Armament Haki before the torrent of magma blasted him a kilometer into the sky.
His consciousness teetered on the edge of collapsed.
"Damn it! Move, Yasopp!" Beckman's face paled—he hadn't expected the fight to end so quickly.
Yasopp's demeanor shifted instantly, his entire presence turning calm and focused.
His long rifle rose, and in the blink of an eye—without even seeming to aim—he fired.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
No one saw him reload, but three shots rang out.
In the distance, Akainu's magma-spewing right wrist was struck three times in rapid succession, exploding violently.
The magma halberd slipped from his grip, and the molten assault on Shanks abruptly ceased.
Akainu's face darkened as he turned his glare toward them.
"More meddling fools—the Red Hair Pirates? Might as well wipe them all out here."
Without hesitation, Akainu propelled himself towards the sky on a jet of magma, hurtling straight towards Beckman's group.
"YASOPP!"
Lucky Roux cried out in alarm.
Yasopp fired again in rapid succession.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
His hands moved like phantoms, bullets drawn from his waist and loaded in an instant.
His left hand steadied the rifle with only slight adjustments—as if aiming was unnecessary.
Explosions of magma burst across Akainu's body, momentarily slowing his advance.
But the force of the magma jet beneath him was immense—Yasopp's bullets barely hindered his momentum.
"Even Armament Haki bullets aren't working?" Beckman raised his own gun and fired repeatedly.
His Armament Haki was far stronger than Yasopp's, but he wielded a short-range flintlock pistol.
Though its power was immense, the distance was still too great, leaving him somewhat helpless.
"Meteor Shower!"
With a furious roar, Beckman erupted with Conqueror's Haki as well.
Black-red lightning crackled around the bullet in his pistol before he fired it with a thunderous blast!
BOOM!!
The sound was like a thunderclap splitting the sky, shaking the entire ice field.
The short-barreled pistol in Beckman's hand exploded instantly.
At the same time, Akainu—hovering in the distant sky—was blasted apart, his body erupting into a rain of molten magma that scattered across the ground.
