At that moment, another Lieutenant Colonel rushed in.

"Speak!"

Sengoku shouted excitedly.

"We have received reliable intelligence! One of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Cracker—he's dead!" the Lieutenant Colonel said in excitement. "To confirm the authenticity of this information, we investigated through multiple channels. It's true. Charlotte Cracker, the great pirate with a bounty of 860 million berries, is dead!"

In a single day, two shocking pieces of news spread like wildfire!

If Sengoku hadn't slapped himself, he wouldn't have believed it. This kind of good fortune, something one would only dream about, had actually happened in reality!

Jack the Drought.

Charlotte Cracker.

One with a bounty of one billion berries, the other 860 million. Both were absolute monsters! From their bounties alone, it was clear how much havoc they had caused across the seas… and yet, constrained by the power of the Yonkō, the Marines hadn't been able to touch a single hair on their heads.

But in just one day, the two of them had fallen one after another. No warning, no trace. Just—dead.

With this, the Beasts Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates had both lost one of their greatest wings of power!

"Hahahaha…"

Sengoku's laughter couldn't be contained. He laughed so hard his face hurt before finally calming down a little. "Right, how did they die? Who killed them? Any information?"

The Lieutenant Colonel and the Major exchanged glances and shook their heads.

"You don't know who the killer is?" Sengoku frowned. "Then how did you confirm they're dead?"

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, though my people didn't see Jack the Drought's corpse, we heard the killer sent his bones as a 'gift' to Kaido. Kaido was so enraged he destroyed an entire island!" the Major explained.

"My intel is similar. After killing Cracker, the killer sent his bones to Big Mom. She went berserk on the spot, lost her sanity, and even drained 50 years of life from one of her sons before she calmed down again," the Lieutenant Colonel added.

"Sending bones as gifts… to Kaido and Big Mom?"

Sengoku's eyes darkened, his earlier smile vanishing. "Is this someone declaring war against two of the Four Emperors?"

The matter was far more serious than it seemed.

The same person had killed both Jack and Cracker!

What did that mean?

It meant this man's strength had completely surpassed both of them. And not only that—he was arrogant enough to send their bones as offerings to Kaido and Big Mom, a blatant challenge to the Yonkō. Was he brave—or just delusional?

"Wait… bones?"

Sengoku suddenly recalled something, his face shifting. "Could it be… that criminal?"

Four words flashed through his mind—The Man-Eating Monster.

Yes. That was the name last whispered out of Dressrosa.

Lowering his gaze, Sengoku opened the drawer of his desk. Inside was a dossier compiled by Marine soldiers who had investigated Dressrosa. On top was a sketch of a young man. Because they had no legal grounds for conviction, it had simply been filed away—until now.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, what should we do next? Do we announce this good news to the world?" the Major asked.

"The deaths of two Yonko commanders will certainly stir unpredictable reactions. Sengoku-sama should consider this carefully," the Lieutenant Colonel advised.

"No need to hesitate!" Sengoku's eyes gleamed. "From today, let the media spread this news at once. The whole world must know of this!"

He stood tall. "For the Marines, this is a rare chance to inspire the people! Since the Doflamingo incident, our reputation has taken blow after blow. This is our chance to restore it. Spread the news!"

"Yes!"

The two officers left in high spirits.

"Man-Eating Monster…" Sengoku murmured, staring into the distance. "Just who are you? To kill not one, but two Yonko commanders, and even challenge the Emperors themselves?"

That very day, the news of Jack the Drought and Charlotte Cracker's deaths spread like wildfire, sweeping across the world in a frenzy.

Upon hearing it, the people everywhere erupted into cheers, clapping and even dancing in the streets. The deaths of two infamous pirates were cause for celebration.

Since the start of the Great Pirate Era, countless people had suffered at the hands of pirates. Life had only grown harsher as the pirates became stronger, and the Marines hadn't produced such a major victory in a long time.

Now, with this news, faith in the Marines and the World Government reached new heights.

"Hahahaha… Boss Shanks! That arrogant bastard Jack finally got what he deserved! Didn't I tell you his arrogance would get him killed? Hahaha!"

On the Red-Haired Pirates' ship, the crew celebrated with cheers and high-fives.

The Red-Haired Pirates had long been at odds with Kaido's crew. Not long ago, they had nearly gone to war. Now, the loudest mouth from that time, Jack, had fallen.

"Marines? No… they couldn't have done this," Shanks chuckled faintly. "The ones who killed Jack and Cracker… were someone else."

Meanwhile…

"Pops! Pops! Cracker's dead, hahahaha!"

The Whitebeard Pirates received the news too.

"To think, two commanders dead at once… Kaido and Big Mom must be furious right now!" Marco laughed.

All over the world, the deaths of Jack and Cracker became the hottest topic of conversation, spreading like wildfire and setting the seas ablaze.
