As Ikki approached the burning Mera Mera no Mi, clutching the Resurrection Talisman, a faint, translucent figure began to materialize.
It was none other than Portgas D. Ace.
Perhaps due to the talisman’s power, everyone present could clearly see Ace’s soul.
Upon witnessing this, Luffy danced with unbridled excitement. "It’s Ace’s soul! This is it! Does this mean Ace can be resurrected?!"
Ikki smiled and nodded, then activated the Resurrection Talisman. Golden light erupted from the talisman, enveloping Ace’s soul. Within moments, Ace’s form solidified, and in less than ten seconds, he was fully resurrected.
Ace, newly returned to life, was still disoriented, his last memory being the searing pain of Akainu’s magma fist piercing his chest. "Me? Am I not dead?"
Tears streamed down Luffy and Sabo’s faces at the sight of Ace’s return.
Portgas D. Rouge covered her mouth, her own tears falling freely. Though she knew this resurrected Ace wasn’t from her own world, she understood that her connection to Roger was the reason for Ace’s arduous fate. Seeing her son alive and well in another world filled her with immense joy and relief.
"What? Ace has been resurrected, so should we head back to our world?" Ikki asked Masked Ace after the resurrection was complete.
Masked Ace glanced at Ikki, a smile playing on his lips. "I thought you were going to see how Kaido built the school!"
Ikki shrugged. "Oh, I do want to see it, but our world has its own adventures and journeys! The private Marines can’t survive without me!"
"Alright, go back then! I have to deal with Blackbeard when I return!" Ace in this world was fully aware of his past—how he captured Blackbeard two years ago, was subsequently defeated by him, and then handed over to the Marines.
But things were different now. This Ace was a dual Devil Fruit user, having also received Kaido’s training. He was significantly stronger than before. If he encountered Blackbeard again, he was confident he could finish that bastard for good.
After some discussion, Ikki, Ace, Rouge, Captain America, and Kakashi decided it was time to leave this world and return to their own.
Luffy was visibly reluctant to see them go. "Can you come back after you leave?" he asked.
"Haha... maybe!" Ikki neither confirmed nor denied it, as his system might not draw any props capable of parallel world travel again.
At this moment, Ace, fully resurrected and understanding the situation, approached the group and bowed deeply. "Thank you for bringing me back to life!"
After his heartfelt thanks, Ace looked at Rouge, a bright smile on his face. "And... for letting me meet my mother..."
Rouge stepped forward, gently caressing Ace’s face. She then pulled the other Ace closer, speaking softly. "Ace... I know you resent your father, Roger, but... what I want to tell you is that he had his reasons!"
"Roger truly wanted to be by my side and watch you grow, Ace, but... he couldn’t. Roger was already terminally ill and only had a few days left to live!"
Both Aces were stunned by Rouge’s words.
In Ace’s mind, Roger had always been an irresponsible scoundrel, unworthy of being a husband or a father!
"Is that so?" The two Aces uttered the same words, yet their expressions differed.
The Ace from this world looked somewhat dazed.
Masked Ace’s expression, however, was tinged with loneliness. He had once had the opportunity to see his father one last time, to speak with him, and even to bring his body back!
Seeing their reactions, Rouge gently stroked both Ace’s cheeks again. "Roger would be so happy to see how much you’ve grown!"
After Rouge revealed the truth about Roger to this world’s Ace, Ikki prepared for another journey through time.
He shrunk the group into wooden boxes once more, then pulled out the Rabbit Charm, waved goodbye to the Straw Hats, and vanished from that world, entering the swirling time-space tunnel.
With Ikki and the others gone, the Straw Hats resumed their pursuit of Momonosuke and Kin’emon, who had stolen their ship.
As for Dressrosa? It had been successfully brought under Marine control.
Compared to the devastated Dressrosa in the original story, this version suffered far less damage, and fewer lives were lost.
Even so, Fujitora chose to kneel and apologize to the entire nation of Dressrosa. After all, Donquixote Doflamingo was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, recognized by the World Government.
It was Fujitora’s unprecedented act that caused the events of Dressrosa to spread across the globe, forcing the World Government to finally authorize Doflamingo’s arrest.
Forward, Luffy-senpai’s crew sailed for over ten days, finally arriving at Zou. There, they indeed found the Thousand Sunny, stolen by Momonosuke and his companions.
In the original story, Zou was invaded by the Beast Pirates. However, because Kaido had returned to his homeland to build a school, all his forces who were out causing trouble were recalled, sparing Zou from invasion in this timeline.
Although Zou wasn’t invaded, Momonosuke and Kin’emon were worried, leading Zou’s Mink Tribe to block the Straw Hats.
The reason was simple: Momonosuke was the young master of the Kozuki Family, and Boss Inuarashi and Cat Viper of the Mink Tribe were former retainers of the Kozuki Family, two of the Nine Red Scabbards. When their young master asked them to stop the "enemy" Straw Hats, they naturally complied.
Thus, a battle erupted between the Straw Hats and the Mink Tribe.
Though the Mink Tribe was powerful, they were no match for the upgraded Luffy and his crew.
Ultimately, the Mink Tribe was defeated. Given the Straw Hats’
character, they wouldn’t harm the Mink Tribe. Furthermore, Ace was now a member of the Straw Hats, and both Cat Viper and Inuarashi had once been part of the Whitebeard Pirates.
While the Mink Tribe remained unharmed, their young master, Momonosuke, attempted to take his own life.
After Momonosuke saw Inuarashi and Cat Viper defeated by Luffy and Zoro, he immediately chose to flee. Inuarashi and Cat Viper said nothing, even instructing the young Mink, Carrot, to protect him.
As Carrot led Momonosuke to hide in the forest, they happened upon the full moon.
Due to Ikki’s previous "treatment" for Momonosuke, the boy now trembled whenever he saw a human girl. In severe cases, he might even wet his pants.
Despite Momonosuke’s pitiful state, his perverted tendencies remained.
Perhaps because Carrot wasn’t human, Momonosuke didn’t react as strongly to her. However, he gradually began to take advantage of her during their escape.
Carrot wanted to kick him every time he misbehaved, but because he was someone her bosses wanted to protect, she held back.
Carrot herself could hold back, but Carrot in her Sulong form could not.
Just as Momonosuke was about to get comfortable, Carrot witnessed the full moon and transformed into her powerful Sulong state.
In her Sulong form, Carrot’s wild instincts were fully unleashed. After being taken advantage of, she kicked Momonosuke without hesitation.
The kick landed directly between Momonosuke’s legs. The boy, who was already "mentally castrated," was now "physically castrated."
Carrot, in her wild Sulong state, completely disregarded the profusely bleeding Momonosuke. She decisively turned back to help the Mink Tribe in their fight.
It was precisely because of this that Momonosuke eventually bled to death from his lower body...
If Ikki had known how Momonosuke died in this world, he would surely have regretted it.
Because... Ikki had previously used his Sharingan to place a Genjutsu transfer seal on Momonosuke.
The seal was designed so that whenever Momonosuke encountered a "sow," he would relentlessly pursue her until everyone around him died of shock—a truly perfect way for him to perish.
