Usopp felt a shiver of fear run down his spine after hearing Dr. Kureha's explanation.

Dr. Kureha continued, "Luckily, you had good fortune and a strong constitution.

It resulted in a high fever and severe infection, but you avoided myocarditis, arteritis, and encephalitis."

"Ugh…" Usopp mumbled, realizing how close he'd come to death.

After calming down, Usopp said, "Doctor, I have two crewmates. Where are they?"

"I don't know. Only this one was brought in. I didn't see anyone else."

A bad feeling settled in Usopp's gut.

Just then, Luffy's soap bubbles popped. He slowly opened his eyes, taking in his surroundings. Seeing Usopp awake, he was overjoyed, hugging him tightly.

"Great! You're okay!"

Usopp felt a surge of warmth, but he asked, "Luffy, where are Zoro and Sanji? I don't see them."

Luffy immediately recalled their situation. "Yeah, where are Zoro and Sanji? They were supposed to cover our retreat.

They haven't come back yet. Did they get lost?"

Dr. Kureha suddenly realized something.

"Did you encounter a bunch of silver robots on your way here?" she asked, a worried look on her face.

Luffy scratched his head. "Yeah, how did you know?"

Dr. Kureha's face fell.

"Oh dear, then they probably can't reach you."

Luffy exploded with anger.

"Why?! Zoro and Sanji would never run away! We made a promise!"

Dr. Kureha shook her head. "That's not what I mean. It's the king of this country."

Ignoring his pain, Luffy asked, "The king? What's going on?"

Dr. Kureha put down her bottle, lit a cigarette, and said, "If they were captured by robots, they're most likely in prison."

"Prison!!!" Usopp and Luffy shouted in unison, momentarily forgetting their pain.

"I'll save them!" Luffy tried to sit up, but the pain was too intense.

Dr. Kureha said, "You can't get up now! Your injuries are too severe!"

Chopper also stepped forward, preventing Luffy from getting out of bed.

Dr. Kureha said, "Even if you go, what can you do?"

Luffy argued, "But if we wait, they…"

Dr. Kureha understood. "Even if you want to save them, you need to recover first. You can't defeat King Sterry with your current strength."

Usopp asked, "Is this King King Sterry strong?"

Dr. Kureha nodded. "Very strong. The previous king coveted King Sterry's robot technology, secretly allying with other nations.

They didn't expect King Sterry's robots to be so powerful. Even King Wapol was turned into a mechanical soldier!"

She added, "But this king is good to the common people, especially doctors. He's implemented many helpful policies. Even I like him."

Usopp felt a knot of anxiety in his stomach.

Seeing Usopp's reaction, Dr. Kureha laughed. "Ha ha ha! Don't worry, I won't tell the king about you.

I'm a doctor. I won't do anything until you're better. Besides, I highly doubt you can defeat him."

She left, leaving Chopper to treat them.

Usopp looked at Luffy. "Luffy, what do we do now?"

Luffy, despite his usual childishness, said, "Recover, then we rescue Zoro and Sanji."

Luffy lay back down, falling asleep. Usopp, though frustrated, focused on his recovery.

Three days passed quickly. Luffy and Usopp, possessing remarkably resilient constitutions , recovered.

Then, Dr. Kureha re-entered, holding a notice—a proclamation from Ryuya…
