Unlike the grand spectacle of the Demon Race's ranged attackers with lightning, fire spells, and ice chunks falling from the sky, the Disaster Spreaders of the Disaster Legion stand still like statues at the rear of the battlefield. Yet, when Pei Yan really delves deep into their ranks, he senses their terrifying power.

Desolation, depression, loss, pain—various negative emotions play repeatedly in Pei Yan's mind. Suddenly, inexplicably, images of his family appear in his mind: himself at home, having dinner prepared by his father with his parents and sister. His father, with a stern face, scolding him out of concern, while his mother complains about his father talking too much, all the while smilingly serving him his favorite braised ribs.

Tears uncontrollably slide down the corners of Pei Yan's eyes. It has been more than a year since he left home. Usually, he numbs his homesickness with intense training and fierce battles, but as these scenes unfold in his mind, his longing for home bursts the dam of emotions. Tears flow like a flood, and the heartache of missing home becomes excruciating. Pei Yan stumbles and falls from midair, landing on his knees, clutching his chest, struggling to breathe.

"Suzi, what's causing this?" Rationality tells Pei Yan that this cannot be the true outpouring of his emotions; it's a method employed by the enemy. But he still can't control his emotional fluctuations. In just a moment, his thoughts have shifted from missing his family to reminiscing about his companions, scenes of interactions with his teammates from Hu Wenjun's Shangxing team playing in his mind.

"Unable to determine the cause; currently, there is no evidence of air-related effects. Color, images, sound—analysis reveals no issues. It's suspected to be psychological interference from an unknown source," Suzi's voice responds in his mind.

"Can't be sure if it's due to visual and auditory effects? Damn the mysterious force incapable of being analyzed. Suzi, ignore my emotions for now and take control of my body. Destroy those monitors first, according to our previous opportunities," Pei Yan orders through clenched teeth, enduring the waves of negative emotions flooding his mind.

"Understood!" With that, Pei Yan's body, no longer under his conscious control, stands up again. A gleam flashes through the mechanical eye on his left side, and in the next moment, Pei Yan shoots into the air.

Ignoring the fierce battlefield below, he flies over the battling factions, diving directly at the monitors attacking around the broodmother. At this moment, the monitors are all flying mid-air, engaged in combat with the eagle-headed Demon Race. Due to the soundwave attacks, the eagle-headed Demon Race dares not approach too closely to these monitors, only engaging from afar outside their soundwave attack range.

Seeing Pei Yan charging straight in, an eagle-headed demon race member quickly cries out, "Be careful! They can use soundwave attacks!"

"Why warn him? He's been observing coldly from the rear; it's time he gets a taste and realizes that a fight doesn't end by just destroying the Disaster Pillar!" Another eagle-headed demon, after launching another attack, looks derisively at Pei Yan, who is flying into the monitors' attack range but turns to his two companions beside him, ordering, "You two go and cover him. If he gets into trouble and falls, make sure to catch him and carry him off the battlefield."

"I think you need not worry about him." Before the words are finished, a noise piercing enough to tear through ear drums echoes. His companion frowns, clutching his ears, looking towards the battlefield ahead.

Upon hearing this, he swiftly turns back to look at the battlefield, only to see Pei Yan among the monitors like a tiger among sheep, their attacks having no effect on him. Instead, they howl in pain, falling one after another like rain to the ground.

Already mastering soundwave weapons as a means of attack, Pei Yan is well aware of the fearsome nature of these invisible weapons. Thus, he allows no chance for the monitors to change infrasound frequencies to target him. At the moment of striking, he transforms his body into a high-power speaker, releasing noise attacks that affect their own bodies.

That's using their own methods against them. These monitors, extremely sensitive to sound as a means of monitoring, never expected the opponent to use such an attack method. Instantly, their eardrums are ruptured, blood flowing, and with a wail, they fall to the ground.

Not giving the opponent a chance to breathe, Pei Yan's body, controlled by Suzi, continually expands. Two rows of metal storm launch tubes extend from his back, pouring bullets down like a storm, shredding the monitors unable to recover from their agony into pieces.

After clearing the remaining enemies, Pei Yan circles back to the eagle-headed Demon Race and shouts angrily: "What are you all standing around for? Quickly deal with the remaining two broodmothers! I need to shift the battlefield, and remember, if plans change, alert Leohard to act accordingly!"

"Uh, uh, yes!" Only after hearing Pei Yan's cold rebuke do the stunned Demons before him come to their senses, responding after some time, they shout commands to their comrades to continue the attack on the remaining broodmothers.

After doing all this, Pei Yan glances over the Disaster Spreaders' stronghold on the ground with hatred, gritting his teeth, turning quickly without pause and leaving the battlefield. The relentless attacks from the demons are finally paying off. Just now, information from the monitors along the route indicated the Disaster Legion has not only accelerated the advance of the Red Disaster but also increased the number of Red Armored Warriors. A vast reinforcement army is quickly heading to the Bull Territory to aid.

Quickly leaving the battlefield range, Pei Yan lands beside the Teleportation Mirror, where Ye Ruozai and the others have been waiting. Watching Pei Yan descend from the sky, removing his faceplate and gasping for air, all the while wiping his face.

"Why are you crying like this!" Xia Yu and Zhao Yuanhu almost simultaneously gasp in shock, genuinely terrified. They had mentally prepared for Pei Yan to suffer various injuries in battle, but never expected him to break down into such a state of sobbing.

"Huff, huff, huff!" Pei Yan repeatedly adjusts his emotions, wiping tears from his face, as he takes bottled water from his spatial ring and says, "I'll explain this to you later. Damn it! These bastards have completely pissed me off! I'll gut them when I'm done with my business!"

He unscrews the cap, splashing cold water over his face to calm down, then tosses aside the empty bottle, saying firmly, "Let's go! Activate it!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the Demon Race member controlling the Teleportation Mirror hurriedly places his hand on it. The constellation plate glows, and the mirror emits a gentle light. Soon, the reflection in the mirror shifts from the figures of Pei Yan and his companions to an hidden bush outside the Napas Valley floor.

"All set!"

After receiving the go-ahead from the Demon Race, Pei Yan steps in first. Moments later, Ye Ruozai receives confirmation in her earpiece of Pei Yan's safe arrival. She nods at Xia Yu and the two of them, leading them in.
