CHAPTER 161: CHAPTER 160: GOING HOME (FIRST UPDATE)

The cars drove into the basement one after the other.

Returning to this long-lost place, Sienna Thornton was filled with mixed emotions.

The last time she was here was ten months ago. Back then, Simon Forrester asked her if she wanted to try working in architecture.

She still remembers his relaxed and lazy look when he said that, and she also remembers how nervous she felt, as if her heart were going to stop.

At that time, she was still troubled by her inability to understand her feelings for Simon Forrester. Now, they had been dating for more than three months.

As Sienna drove, she reminisced about everything since she met Simon Forrester, while wondering where to park the car. A call came from Simon, telling her to just follow him.

Following behind the Urus, she made a few turns and finally parked the car not far from the elevator.

Simon Forrester reversed his oversized Urus into a spot, and seeing there was another space beside him, she reversed her car into it as well.

Simon Forrester got out of the car first, slammed the door shut, ran a hand through his hair, and walked toward her.

As she was tidying up her sunglasses, phone, and tissues from the passenger seat, Simon opened the back door, grabbed her luggage bag, and slung it over his shoulder.

Then, he circled around to the driver’s side to wait for her to get out. As soon as she was out, he immediately took her hand.

Her heart felt sweet, and she looked up and smiled at him. He was still walking, bent down, and gave her a kiss.

Usually, she wore high heels, and he only needed to slightly lower his head to kiss her; today, however, she was in flat sneakers, which made her a head shorter than him, so he had to bend down to kiss her.

So, she stood on tiptoe, hooked him around the neck, quickly kissed him back, and then blushed as she pushed him away.

The two walked towards the elevator.

While waiting for the elevator, she asked, "I remember your parking spot isn’t usually there."

"Bought a new one, reserved it for you."

This parking spot wasn’t something you could buy one day and use the next. Sienna vaguely felt something was off about it, so she asked again, "When did you buy it?"

"The day I ordered your car."

Sienna smiled and playfully swayed their linked hands, saying coquettishly, "Weren’t you living at my place then? So you already planned to have me move in with you?"

Simon Forrester also smiled, "Yeah, I had that plan."

Saying that, the elevator arrived. He led her inside.

As soon as the elevator doors closed, he couldn’t resist pressing her against the wall and leaning down to kiss her.

She gave him a small push, whispering, "There’s surveillance."

He bit her once more before letting go of her lips.

Once he stood up straight, he returned to his usual gentlemanly, cool, and abstinent demeanor.

Sienna observed him through the elevator mirror.

The tie was nowhere to be seen, the top button of the white French shirt was undone, and because he wore it for the third day and had been to the dusty Raines Village, the collar was slightly yellowed, and his hair had lost its style from two days without washing, yet he still looked spirited.

Sienna looked up at him.

His lips slightly curved into a faint smile, his eyes glanced up at the changing elevator floors. His brow arches were high, his eyes deep, there were faint dark circles under his eyes, his high nose bridge was straight, and his lips were faintly pink...

Suddenly, Sienna thought of the last night he spent at her apartment...

She immediately felt the elevator was unbearably hot, making her sweat profusely, her heart thumping wildly in a relentless, turbulent rhythm, quickening to a point where she felt restless, and her limbs were starting to feel weak again.

"Ding", the elevator arrived.

Simon Forrester tightened his grip on her hand, lowered his gaze to look at her, and said, "Let’s go."

"Okay."

He unlocked the door with a code, but didn’t go in right away. Instead, he performed a few operations and then took her right hand, pressing down two fingerprints respectively.

When done, he didn’t release her hand but instead kissed it.

Sienna retracted her hand, smiling lightly at him, her big eyes blinking, making his heart flutter.

Suppressing the urge in his eyes, he led her inside.

She was filled with anxiety, expecting it would be just like the last time at her place—closing the door, leaving the lights off, and starting to kiss her.

Feeling uneasy, he, however, entered normally, turned on the light, took out two pairs of slippers from the shoe cabinet—one male and one female. He changed into his own and placed the other pair by her feet.

Looking at the pair of pink bunny slippers, Sienna was surprised, "Are these the ones I left behind last time?"

"Yes."

She was slightly surprised, changed shoes, and asked, "You didn’t throw them away and just kept them here?"

"If I threw them away, what would you wear when you come over?" Saying so, he took her hand again and led her inside, her luggage bag still over his shoulder.

He led her to the dressing room.

A long dressing room of around twenty square meters, with the wardrobe on either side already cleared on one side.

"Your clothes can be hung on this empty side." As Simon Forrester spoke, he placed her luggage bag on the soft bench in the middle of the aisle, then turned to walk towards another transparent glass cabinet.

Sienna followed him over.

Inside the glass cabinet were dozens of watches, leather-strapped, steel-strapped, various mechanical watches, all rotating in a watch winder.

"Mr. Forrester," Sienna called out with twinkling eyes, "this watch cabinet is worth at least millions."

Simon Forrester pushed the drawer in, turned around, leaned back against the cabinet, encircled her with his arms, and smiled, "They’re all replicas, not worth much."

Knowing he was considering her humble background, Sienna scoffed, pulled out a drawer, selected a brown alligator leather strap, silver dial with gold rim mechanical watch, put it on her left wrist, and teased, "Both are Cartier, yet yours is over two hundred thousand, and mine is just over twenty thousand..."

Simon Forrester smiled and tapped her forehead, "Work hard, my birthday is in two months, and I’ll look forward to your gift."

With that, he released her and turned to undress in front of the wardrobe.

Sienna examined the men’s watch in her hand, turned it over repeatedly, and thought the watch seemed so new that there wasn’t a trace of it having been worn.

With a suspicious glance towards the watch cabinet, where all the high-end luxury watches like Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, Zenith, Corum were neatly arranged in rows, the twenty-something thousand Cartier watch on her wrist looked peculiarly out of place.

Someone who picks watches from jewelry brands couldn’t possibly be the inflexible Forrester type.

Sienna stealthily put the watch back in the cabinet, glanced at the inflexible Forrester who was undressing, and asked, "Are we eating out tonight?"

Simon Forrester pulled a T-shirt over his head and replied, "Let’s just eat something simple downstairs, then quickly come back up to shower and sleep, I’m getting stupidly tired these days."

"Who told you to insist on following me?" Sienna mumbled, also going to open her luggage bag to take out a clean T-shirt and jeans to change into.

As she bent over to pull on her pants, a strong arm suddenly looped around her waist.

She let out a small sound and quickly pulled up her pants.
