Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 298 - 300: Did Anyone Forget?
CHAPTER 298: CHAPTER 300: DID ANYONE FORGET?
"I know. So, move as quickly as possible. Acquire the equipment at the fastest speed and transport it back safely."
The maniac has already started going berserk. Young Master Shannon is worried sick, especially about her face.
Charlie River, with a solemn face, said, "Yes, I understand, Young Master."
Thomas Shannon returned to the castle, and Edward Benson and William Guillen came to see him.
Three exceptionally handsome men sat together, attentively catered to by the cautious maids.
Lately, Amelia Shaw has been desperately trying to make her presence known, humbling herself and finding endless ways to get close to Thomas Shannon.
On this occasion, she prepared tea and brought it out.
"Thomas, Bay King, Lan Singh, I personally made this tea."
She bent down, placing a teacup from the tray in front of each of the three men. As she put the tray away, she gave them a sweet smile. "I also made red bean pastries for you to try later."
Edward Benson nodded lightly, while William Guillen was the least willing to see Amelia Shaw.
He frowned irritably. Why is this woman still here? Absolutely shameless! Initially, she was with Frank Mitchell, rejected Thomas Shannon, and stayed with Frank Mitchell for two years. After Frank Mitchell went bankrupt, she shamelessly came back, hoping Thomas Shannon would take her. Of all the women William Guillen had been with, this was the first time he had encountered one so shameless. When someone has no shame, they are truly invincible!
He snorted coldly, saying disdainfully, "How could I dare trouble you to do this yourself, Miss Shaw? I’m not worthy of such an honor."
"Lan Singh, why must you be like this?"
Amelia Shaw bit her lip, looking pitiful as if she had been severely bullied. Tears welled in her eyes, threatening to spill. "Those things from back then... they’re all in the past..."
"Yes, they’re in the past, but who has forgotten?"
Today, William Guillen was determined to confront Amelia Shaw head-on; nothing anyone said would stop him!
Amelia Shaw gripped the tray tightly and took a deep breath, looking like a victim. "I know you’re angry. You’re standing up for Thomas, I know. I know all of it..."
After years of sowing his wild oats, William Guillen didn’t need to expend much mental effort to see through Amelia Shaw’s little tricks.
"Lan Singh, say a little less," Edward Benson said, his brows furrowed slightly. Why bicker with a woman? It was beneath him. Besides, Thomas Shannon, the one directly involved, hadn’t said a word. William was getting far too worked up.
William Guillen shook his head in disappointment. "Bay King, you’ve really been fooled by her."
William Guillen couldn’t be bothered with Amelia Shaw anymore. He thought of someone else, someone who could make Amelia Shaw apprehensive.
"Thomas, why isn’t that maniac here?"
"She’s resting upstairs," Thomas Shannon replied coolly.
William Guillen loved a good show and didn’t mind stirring up trouble. He wanted to see the maniac take Amelia Shaw down a peg. "What time is it? Still sleeping? Call her down. It’s time for afternoon tea."
Thomas Shannon gave him a meaningful glance. Crossing his long legs, William Guillen leisurely urged, "Hurry up."
「In the bedroom」
Sophie Sullivan was sound asleep.
The maid shook her awake. "Maniac, the Young Master is calling you downstairs."
Sophie Sullivan brushed the maid’s hand away. "Stop bothering me, I want to sleep."
"The Young Master is calling you downstairs. Stop sleeping, maniac."
The maid’s voice droned on incessantly in her ear. Sophie Sullivan, unable to bear it any longer, finally sat up.
Patting her groggy head, Sophie Sullivan threw off the silk quilt and got out of bed.
When she came downstairs, she saw Edward Benson and William Guillen were both there. Thomas Shannon beckoned to her, and she walked over, naturally sitting down beside him.
