CHAPTER 329: CHAPTER 329 – THE THREAT OF CP0

In the capital of the Magiatsuka Kingdom, inside the grand and majestic royal palace—

In a meeting room, Liv and Kana were sitting around a table with over a dozen Revolutionary Army members, all listening seriously to one person.

That person was the little girl who had appeared the night before.

She was now dressed in fine royal robes that reflected her noble status. She was none other than the girl from last night, and the descendant of the Garfield royal family—Garfield Angela!

At just thirteen years old, Angela already carried a calm and maturity far beyond her age.

"There’s one thing we need to be careful of—CP0 from the World Government has shown up, and there are seven of them. This morning, we lost four people to them." Kana said seriously, sharing the intel.

"Four of our people died to CP0?" Revolutionary squad leader Sera frowned.

The rest of the team looked grim too.

For this mission in the Magiatsuka Kingdom, they had sent three elite teams. Each team had twelve members—thirty-six in total.

Now four were already dead—killed by CP0.

CP0 was powerful. Among all of them, only the three squad leaders could possibly match their strength.

But the enemy had seven people. They were clearly outnumbered.

"What do we do? The coronation is already scheduled. We can’t change the date now—doing that would hurt Angela’s authority," another squad leader, Dam, said with a serious voice.

"CP0..."

"Fifteen years ago, my grandfather—my whole family—died because of them! If it had just been those nobles, there’s no way the coup back then would’ve worked!"

Angela’s eyes burned with anger as soon as she heard CP0 was involved.

Liv was shocked. For the past fifteen years, the people of the Magiatsuka Kingdom had always believed the Garfield royal family lost to the nobles.

No one had ever guessed that the fall of the Garfield family was tied to the World Government.

Now that they knew seven CP0 agents were in the kingdom, worry spread across the faces of the team members, Liv, and Angela alike.

"Don’t worry. The coronation is still two days away—Sabo will be coming by then," Kana reassured them.

"Sabo’s coming?"

"That’s amazing! If he’s here, those CP0 agents won’t be a problem at all!"

"That’s great news!"

When the other members of the Revolutionary Army heard that Sabo was coming, their faces instantly lit up. The pressure from CP0, sent by the World Government, had just been too much.

"Sabo?"

"You mean the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army?" Angela asked with a bright look in her eyes.

"That’s right!"

"Sabo is our Chief of Staff. He’s trained under several of our commanders and even learned the Dragon Claw Fist directly from our leader. As long as he arrives in time, the succession ceremony two days from now will definitely go smoothly!"

"But..." As Kana spoke, a hint of worry appeared on her face.

"But what?" Liv asked.

"Sabo will need at least a full day to get here. That means before he reaches the Kingdom of Magiatsuka, we’ll have to face seven CP0 agents on our own," Kana said in a serious tone.

After she finished speaking, the mood in the room turned heavy.

There were seven CP0 members. The three squad leaders could hold off three of them, but that still left four more—and that’s not even counting the other CP agents scattered throughout the kingdom.

The situation was extremely dangerous.

"Maybe... we could ask the Dream Exploration Team for help..." Liv suggested.

"The Dream Exploration Team?"

"Liv... asking them for help... do you really think that could work?" Angela looked at Liv, her eyes full of hope.

The rest of the Revolutionary Army members also saw it as possibly their only option. Right now, the only group strong enough to stand up to CP0 in this country was the Dream Exploration Team.

Liv rested her hand on her chin, thinking for a few seconds before speaking.

"Hmm~"

"Based on how they usually act, the chances they’ll help are pretty low."

"But we can still try to visit them. After all, they’re well-known across the seas."

"As a group with power on the level of the Four Emperors..."

"Angela, as the heir to the throne, it’s totally reasonable for you to go and pay them a visit now."

"Then we can stay one night at the hotel where they’re staying—there’s no way CP0 would try anything there."

"Once Sabo arrives, everything will be solved."

After hearing that, Kana also got excited.

"Liv’s right!"

"Angela, as the next ruler, it makes perfect sense for you to visit the Dream Exploration Team now that you know they’re here."

Sera nodded too. "Looking at our current situation, Liv’s plan really is the best choice."

"In that case, let’s move quickly—before CP0 shows up," Darm said at once.

The three squad leaders, along with Liv and Angela, nodded slowly, and everyone started to act without delay.

Soon, the group made their way out of the palace through a secret passage.

They disguised themselves as a merchant caravan and sped off in a wagon toward the port city.

Just after Liv’s group left the palace, a few CP0 agents wearing masks arrived.

"Doesn’t look like they’re here..."

"Did they find out we were coming and escape ahead of time..."

"So... where would they go?"

"Right now, the port city is probably the safest place for them—especially with that team there..."

"So what do we do now?"

"Chase them."

In a flash, the seven agents vanished from the palace and sped toward the port city.

The Dream Crew had already gone outside to walk around the streets.

Compared to yesterday’s quiet and empty vibe, the streets today were much more lively.

Almost everyone had a genuine smile on their face, chatting excitedly about the upcoming succession ceremony in two days.

"It’s really lively..."

"Looks like the people of the Magiatsuka Kingdom really support their soon-to-be queen," Robin said as she looked around at the festive atmosphere.

"Mhm, mhm!"

"It’s nice when it’s busy!"

"Even the food choices are better now!" Reina happily hugged a bunch of snacks in her arms.

"Blueberry ones are still the best," Sugar glanced at Reina’s snacks and commented calmly.

"Alright then~"

"You guys keep walking around. Nami, let’s go stock up on supplies!" Nojiko said as she and Nami Daisy left together.

Ryuen glanced over at a nearby corner of the street.

"CP’s gotten bold lately, huh? They actually dare to watch us now." Kuina started walking toward the direction of the CP agents, hand on her sword.

Ryuen just shook his head and continued strolling with the others.
