Chris rode Arcanine across the barren wilderness while Gardevoir flew alongside him, using its psychic abilities to search for information within a kilometer radius and presenting the findings as a three-dimensional projection before Chris.

Their destination remained the towering lighthouse in the distance.

Compared to the desolate wasteland surrounding them, if any Pokémon and humans inhabited this world, they would most likely be found in the direction of that illuminated tower.

"Garde!" Gardevoir alerted him suddenly.

Chris immediately instructed it to enlarge the psychic display.

At the extreme range of Gardevoir's detection capabilities, the shadow of a Pokémon had appeared!

"There are Pokémon here?" Chris's eyes lit up with excitement as he enlarged the projection further.

The Pokémon's form, constructed from psychic energy, appeared as a light blue shape that resembled a Raichu!

"It seems this world must contain something extraordinary," Chris thought to himself. He remembered that Professor Theodore's team didn't include any Raichu.

Since this wasn't Professor Theodore's Pokémon, this Raichu must be native to this dimensional world.

A Pokémon existing naturally within a spatial rift world?

Had he discovered one of those "exceptional" worlds?

"Shift your investigation focus forward. Let's follow it and proceed carefully," Chris commanded.

Gardevoir immediately redirected its psychic detection from a circular pattern to a forward-facing fan-shaped sweep.

This change shortened the linear detection distance but provided more detailed forward reconnaissance.

As they progressed slowly, evidence of human civilization began to emerge.

Taverns, greenhouses, stables—Chris observed the architectural style, which appeared to be that of a small town built in classical Western design.

However, the town's buildings were dilapidated and clearly uninhabited for an extended period.

"This type of vintage architectural style is rarely seen in modern Western regions," Chris speculated. This world might have fallen into the spatial crack decades ago.

When Chris finally reached the town's outskirts, Gardevoir's psychic power penetrated deeper into the settlement, and various Pokémon figures began appearing on the projection display.

Raichu, Magnezone, Electivire, Probopass, Bronzong—the list continued growing.

"So many Pokémon?" Chris made a rough count—at least hundreds of them, and the number continued increasing as Gardevoir's detection advanced.

"BZZZZT!" A sound like machinery activating echoed through the air.

Chris looked up with alert attention.

In the distance, at the town's center where the lighthouse stood, a faint silver light mixed with the brilliant illumination from the massive bulb. The light was expanding as it flew directly toward Chris's position!

When it approached within 500 meters, Chris could clearly identify the approaching figure.

It was a Magnezone.

Its body gleamed with silver-white energy as it flew through the air like a UFO preparing to crash-land—and its trajectory aimed directly at Chris's location.

This was a Steel-type Heavy Slam attack!

"Are the Pokémon here so territorial? Attacking me immediately upon arrival," Chris frowned as he retrieved a Poké Ball and released his choice combatant.

Greninja materialized on the battlefield, and torrential water erupted from its feet, enveloping its entire form. When the water dispersed, it had condensed into a massive shuriken carried on Greninja's back.

Bond transformation completed.

"Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken!" Chris raised his hand to direct the attack.

Greninja hurled the weapon toward Magnezone, then reached back to retrieve another shuriken from its back, enlarged it significantly, and coated it with a golden energy layer. At the center of this golden shuriken, a spiraling Aura Sphere rotated at tremendous speed.

This differed from the previous versions of the Golden Wind Shuriken Chris had used before.

The current Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken represented a "perfected form."

Aura power drove the golden shuriken to rotate more rapidly, increasing its overall power. However, the Golden Shuriken and Aura Sphere remained completely separate entities.

The Golden Shuriken would explode upon impact with the target, while the Aura Sphere continued forward, causing penetrating damage before exploding again.

Moreover, because the Golden Shuriken was guided by the Aura Sphere, it possessed both lock-on and tracking capabilities.

Facing the Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken, Magnezone advanced without dodging or evasion, apparently intending to use its own body to deflect the incoming attack.

"BOOM!" A tremendous explosion echoed through the town.

Something was indeed knocked away—but it wasn't the Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken that was deflected; it was Magnezone itself.

The Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken exploded at the moment of collision with Magnezone, and the violent force immediately blasted the Steel-type backward. In the next instant, an Aura Sphere pierced through the explosion's smoke, struck Magnezone's body, and sent it flying even farther.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

After smashing through more than ten buildings consecutively, Magnezone finally crashed to the ground, creating another explosion that swept away everything within a ten-meter radius with overwhelming Aura force!

Black smoke billowed upward from the impact site.

"Overconfident!" Chris snorted dismissively.

Magnezone possessed no resistance to Water-type attacks and was vulnerable to Fighting-type moves. This Spiral Golden Wind Shuriken had been more than sufficient to defeat it decisively. He couldn't understand where this Magnezone had gained the confidence to attempt a direct confrontation.

"Excellent work," Chris offered Greninja a fair assessment.

Greninja landed gracefully with arms folded across its chest, maintaining an expressionless, cold demeanor befitting a master.

Its posture conveyed the message: "Isn't defeating such an opponent natural? What's there to celebrate?"

"Garde~" Gardevoir warned suddenly.

Chris looked up to discover that the Pokémon previously detected at a thousand meters' distance had approached to within several hundred meters. There were hundreds of them, each crackling with electrical energy, displaying obvious hostile intent.

"You want to fight? Then I won't back down!" Chris surveyed these approaching Pokémon. Their levels appeared substantial, and their numbers were significant—this represented an excellent opportunity for gaining combat experience.

However, Chris immediately noticed the first characteristic of these Pokémon: they were exclusively Electric-type or Steel-type.

Indeed, such a limited range of Pokémon types would make the battle much more manageable.

Chris immediately positioned Greninja and issued a "Role Play" command.

With Electivire present among the opposition, its ability was likely "Motor Drive." If Greninja could copy this ability, it would become immune to Electric-type moves while gaining speed boosts, allowing it to devastate the approaching Pokémon swarm.

He released Garchomp and immediately triggered its Mega Evolution.

Mega Garchomp, equipped with its massive blade-like appendages and the Landrous's treasure, could definitely eliminate most non-flying Pokémon with "Earthquake"!

However, just as Chris was "sharpening his weapons and preparing for battle," a familiar voice suddenly called out nearby.

"Chris, don't fight yet!"
