When I pierced the commander’s side, a small wave of satisfaction and exhilaration surged through me.

On top of that, I could hear the panicked voices of the knights who had been observing the battle directly.

As I drew back my spear, a grin crept across my face.

Though the wound was on his side, his sword had broken, and the injury was deep.
