CHAPTER 62: [18+] TWISTED LOVE

The ecstasy mixed with shame was like bitter wine on Hermes’ lips as he kept on kissing Eirwyn while their bodies collided into each other.

He couldn’t even stop his fangs from coming out, and he bit hard on this snake’s tongue.

"Ah!" Eirwyn returned the favor, biting him back.

He stuck out his bleeding tongue, and ordered Hermes to "Heal it."

With the Rewind that he gained from kissing, Hermes healed it and then continued drilling into Eirwyn’s insides.

"Ah! That’s it, don’t hold back! You can always fix me back up again!"

His hands slipped a few times on the wall as his palms got sweaty. "Ah... I’m so used to breaking and fixing others... I never thought it would feel wonderful to be on the other end of it. More... Break me more... Darling..."

Hermes could feel himself losing his sanity the more this bastard repeated those magic words.

It was like a key that opened the most animalistic side of him. And no matter how much he fought back and tried to rein it back in, Eirwyn’s words would just let it free.

For a moment, Hermes was able to slightly sober up and say:

"Why... Why are you doing this to me?"

Eirwyn’s eyes widened. Then...

He turned to face Hermes, and raised his one leg. "Darling... Do you even have to ask? You said you wanted me to be your lover. And so I’m being your lover right now as a gift before we part ways for a while."

He grabbed Hermes’ cock and guided it back in so they can continue fucking like rabbits in this position.

"Ah! This... This isn’t love...." Hermes muttered between his gasps for breath.

"Do you even know what love is, darling?" Eirwyn chuckled, caressing his face. "Nobody can really agree on an answer for that. Do you think you love Somner? Do you think you love Ymir? Or is it just lust mixed with fondness?"

Hermes couldn’t respond, and not because he was in a trance right now.

The cruel man he was inside of was delighted with his silence. "Hit a nerve, darling? You are still so young... So inexperienced. Love is not as easy as in stories and fairytales. Sometimes..."

He kissed Hermes. "It’s just as maddening and nonsensical as our dreams."

"But... You don’t love me..." Hermes tried to retort.

"I do." Eirwyn whispered against his lips. "I love you so much... Ah... That’s why I’m letting you hurt me. Because you can’t love without hurting each other."

Hermes had a feeling that Eirwyn was not just talking about ’hurting’ in a physical sense.

For a moment, he saw genuine sadness in his eyes.

"And while I do love you... I also love this world. I love all the people in it. I love the honor and noble hearts of the heroes who built the foundation of the system we have today... Oh, Hermes. You have no idea what these people have done just so we can have a peaceful world."

He gripped Hermes’ shoulder tightly. "I have seen what true destruction is like... What real war is like. Where there are no heroes, no capes... Just suffering... And death..."

Hermes could feel tears falling down onto his once broken clavicle.

"The fact that we can make love right now... Two men... The fact that we get to live under roofs, to have moments of levity where we do not have to fear raining missiles or otherworldly monsters... That is a gift that we must appreciate, all thanks to our government."

He gave a pleading look to Hermes, as if begging him to come to his side.

"I accept your resistance. This push and pull is normal for lovers. Though your betrayal hurts me, I know that you’re just responding back to my betrayal too."

He then whispered. "It’s not too late... We can still make things go back to the way they were before."

Hermes eyes’ widened. "What do you mean?"

Eirwyn smiled. "This isn’t the first time that I will push back time for a few days. It takes a lot of me, but I can manage. We can go back to the day you returned from your victory in your duel with Trivia..."

"Wouldn’t that sound wonderful?" He whispered to Hermes.

Hermes couldn’t deny that it sounded enticing. But...

"I know about everything you’ve done... Everything you and SHIFT had done." Hermes told him. "All of it. The memory wipes the way you handled uprisings.... How delusional you have become in the name of preserving this ’peace’."

Hermes broke into the trance, but did not release him. "Look around you. You think that just reverting things back to what they were is what would solve everything? Even if you remove wounds, scars and memories... There will always be a sign that it was once broken. I am already broken."

He started thrusting faster, slamming Eirwyn hard against the wall as he did.

"You broke me!"

Eirwyn’s eyes bulged out, his mouth open but he could not even scream because of how fast it all was.

And then—

Hermes released the poison inside him, that desire and attachment that was keeping him a prisoner of this traitor.

There was so much that Eirwyn’s stomach distended a bit. Hermes eventually let him go as if he was nothing but trash, and fixed himself.

"Does that satisfy you?"

He went to his phone and sent Ymir a voice message. "Eirwyn is on to us. Tell Somner and Aphrodite to retreat from SHIFT before they can get hurt. Erase all signs of infiltration."

He then turned back to Eirwyn, who remained unblinking as he stared at the leaking ’elixir’ on the ground.

"I don’t need your twisted love. You can have it all for yourself."

Hermes then summoned ice to keep Eirwyn’s hands in chains, but then—

WOOOSH!

Eirwyn raised his hand.

A burst of flames sprung out from it, sending Hermes backwards!

It was fast and didn’t really do him any damage. Hermes coughed, and as the smoke cleared...

Eirwyn was gone.

His eyes widened in realization. So...

His abilities can really be shared that way!? And his enemy has three abilities now!
