Pregnant for the straight CEO
Chapter 47
CHAPTER 47: CHAPTER 47
Park min’s POV
I didn’t notice when the blackout hit fully. One second I was walking down the hall, trying to focus, and the next, my chest was on fire, my mind fuzzy, and my senses were screaming. My own scent hit the air like a storm, sharp and thick everywhere. The humans around me gasped, gagged and some ran. I knew fully well there were masked ABOs in my company and they tried to hide, but I could feel their panic even as I struggled to control myself.
"Stop!" I tried to shout, but it came out as a growl, low and dangerous. My hands clenched, trembling, and then they hit the first desk I saw. Papers flew. Monitors cracked. The board members froze in place, eyes wide, staring at me like I’d become something else. I was something else.
I couldn’t stop. My legs moved before I could think. My arms slammed into another desk, shattering it. My fists shook from the power coursing through me. I could feel the bond in my chest, Yu Jin’s energy, but it wasn’t helping. I wasn’t moving on my own anymore. Something else had control, pulling at me, twisting my power.
"Park Min stop!" Woo Min’s voice cut through the chaos. I froze for a fraction of a second.
"You need to stop!" Woo Min shouted, moving closer.
I swung at him without thinking. He jumped back, eyes wide. His hands were raised, pleading. "Park Min! Please! You fucker! You’re going to hurt someone! You’re going to destroy everything!"
I didn’t care. I wasn’t myself. The board tried again. "Sir! Step back! Please!" A few officers arrived and tried to restrain me. I laughed, a low, sharp sound. Weak humans and weak ABOs were nothing. They couldn’t touch me.
The more I struggled, the more I felt it. Someone else was controlling me. Not Yu Jin. Not Woo Min. Someone else, far away, pulling at my power. They weren’t visible and they weren’t close, and yet they shaped my moves. Every punch, every swing, every step wasn’t mine.
"I think his bond mate is trying to reduce this effect." One officer said.
"That’s not possible, his mate is only an omega. He doesn’t have this type of power, to attempt shielding from afar."
My senses were so sharp I could hear them. I flung a chair at one of the officers and it actually injured them.
Glass shattered under my fists. Chairs flew across the room. The scent poured out, suffocating the humans. They stumbled, coughing, shielding themselves, failing to stay upright. My teeth ground together. Rage and panic twisted in my chest.
And then I felt him.
Kim Min Ho. My cousin. S-class Alpha. Dangerous, calm, and precise. I didn’t see him at first. I felt him. When I was still human, I always compared to him. And he was one of the most powerful ABOs known to be. His power was a wall, steady, holding back some of the chaos. The mysterious force controlling me weakened slightly. I growled, furious. How dare someone control me? How dare someone do this?
He stepped into the room slowly. Calm. "Park Min," he said. His voice didn’t raise. The air shifted. My fists froze mid-swing. My legs stopped moving. The blackout was still there, but the tug someone else had on me loosened.
"You better stop before I act on you," he said, removing his belt.
I pushed towards him until the belt swung across my face hitting me from the left lower part of my jaw on to my nose that began bleeding and then to the right upper. Slowly, painfully, I let him hold the storm back. My fists still shook. My chest still burned. But I wasn’t tearing the room apart anymore. Tears almost slid down my face.
"Move," he growled. His voice was hoarse.
Kim Min Ho didn’t move closer too fast. He let me feel the control without touching me. Just enough. I didn’t like him. But I needed it.
"Isn’t this too much for the little chaos I caused?" My eyes were filled with tears.
Woo Min’s voice was soft now, cautious. "Min... you’re okay. You’re... you’re back." he walked toward me and his hand hit my jaw, I’ll tell my grand kids about this punch. I’ve never felt so much pain.
"How dare you hit me."
Slam another lunch came again.
"You’re crazy you fucker!! Shiballll"
"What? Shibal? Shibal? You accidentally bloomed late after all the mating and you think you can just act uncontrollably? Go to the Country P psychiatric hospital and get yourself checked, what the fuck?"
"Cousin," Kim Min Ho said quietly. "Someone manipulated you. You didn’t cause this. You need to calm yourself or you’ll destroy more than this office. Okay? I can always take over for you. ". Typical Min ho. Selfish and power hungry. I knew the only reason he stopped me was so I could get harmed.
I growled low. I hated being told what to do either way. But slowly, the chaos ebbed. My hands unclenched. My legs stopped shaking. My scent still radiated, still dangerous, but it wasn’t killing everyone nearby.
The board members stayed frozen, staring at me, silent, too terrified to move. The police finally stepped in, trying to restrain me. I laughed, sharp and bitter. Weak humans with weak cuffs were nothing. I could destroy them all. Wait, that’s the voice in me, that’s not me. I
"You’ll take him," Kim Min Ho said quietly to the police. "And he should be restrained until he’s thought how to control his power."
I growled at him. Fists shaking. "I’m fine," I spat. "And stay out of my way."
Woo Min came forward again, panic dripping off him. "Min... You better find Yu Jin before he causes any damage. You don’t know how dangerous he is right now."
I glared at him. "You ignorant son of a bitch. Yu Jin needs help and you’re calling him dangerous? What the fuck is wrong with you," I said again. My voice was low, sharp. "And don’t touch me."
The police moved slowly, carefully, keeping their distance. Kim Min Ho stayed by my side, still holding back the leftover chaos in my body, still steady
My heart still thumped. My chest still throbbed. My mind still screamed. The blackout wasn’t gone. The force controlling me was still out there somewhere. And I knew, as I was led out of my office, that this wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.
Until...
